Five Women Wearing the Same Dress Cast

Anna Giller (Frances) is a senior at Bowling Green State University, studying Inclusive Early Childhood Education. She has appeared in more than 30 area productions and is excited to be on the Black Swamp stage for the first time! Her favorite roles have been Annie in Annie (Clay Limelighters), Anybodys in West Side Story (Toledo Young Rep) and Pamela in The 39 Steps (Oregon Community Theatre). Her whole family is heavily involved in the local theatre community, and even her dog, Ozzy, has made several appearances on stage. In addition to school, student teaching and theatre, she works for a local party princess company and makes magical memories for children every weekend.

This is Elizabeth's first show with BSP. She was previously in Motherhood Out Loud, performing several monologs, and was a part of Constellations, as the Production Assistant. She is an avid reader, aspiring amateur art collector, and cat mom. Elizabeth is grateful to be a part of this amazing show, working with this talented and fabulous cast and director,and getting to challenge herself with a character as complicated and nuanced as Meredith.

Hali is a full time working mom of two that has always carried a passion for the stage. She has been in numerous Black Swamp productions including Talking With as Twirler, The Odd Couple (Female Version) as Olive Madison and Fox on the Fairway as Louise among many others. Another recent production she had the pleasure of being a part of was Motherhood Out Loud with TBD as part of an ensemble cast. She is absolutely thrilled to be a part of this amazingly talented cast and to bring to life a character that she seems to share many commonalities with. This is a show that will evoke many laughs and probably pull on some heartstrings and she only hopes that you have as much fun watching it as her and her cast mates had finding these characters.

Tiffany Scarola is currently an Associate Teaching Professor and Associate Chair in the English department at Bowling Green State University. This is Tiffany’s 5th production with the Black Swamp Players. Her debut performance with BSP was as—“Lamps” aka “Lila/Lamps” in Talking With. Since Talking With, Tiffany has appeared alongside Kayta Dachik and Heath Diehl as “Steffy” in I Ought to be in Pictures, reprised her role as “Lila” in the Talking With encore, “Ms. Lodi” in Mimi’s Famous Company, and her favorite role to date as “Ivy” in August: Osage County. And, while she has a love of live theatre and has attended a great deal of live productions, she experienced a brief hiatus after debuting in her 8th grade production of—The Mystery Liner. Tiffany is thrilled to be returning to the Black Swamp Players as “Georgeanne” with the talented cast of Five Women Wearing the Same Dress and is looking forward to many more performances in the future.

Allie Sanders is so excited to be playing the role of Mindy. She has been involved with BSP for several years including serving on the board and as a producer. She has also played the role of Florence in BSP's production of Odd Couple. Allie has performed in a variety of Shakespeare and Marlowe full productions and shorts including Twelfth Night, Measure for Measure, The Merchant of Venice, Othello, Much ado About Nothing, and Faustus. She has also authored two one acts, Based on a True Story and A Present Encounter both produced for the stage by Lionface Productions. Outside of the theatre you can usually find her reading a book on the couch with her cat DW. She would like to thank her husband, Tom, for all his support during this production. She hopes you enjoy the show.

Ryan is thrilled to return to the BSP stage as Tripp. He previously appeared in BSP’s “Sylvia” as Greg. He has directed numerous award winning productions, designed for Disney, taught technical masterclasses at national theatre conferences, and graduated from BGSU, twice.
