Abigail Olsen (Mia)
Abigail Olsen (Mia) is a junior equine training major and business management minor from St Louis, MO. You may have seen her as The Baroness in the 2025 sophomore musical The Sound of Music. Abigail is so thankful for this opportunity. She’d like to thank Carol Anderson for helping her be confident as an actress onstage and to her friends and family for their love.
Kaleb Groombridge (Carter)
Is a Freshman Music Education major from Chatham, Ontario. He has performed in plays such as Peter Pan playing Smee, Delirium’s Daughters as Delirio, The Sound of Music as Captain Von Trapp. In his Junior year, he performed in The Play that Goes Wrong as Charles Haversham, and in his senior year Beauty and the Beast playing Lumiere. He is very grateful for this opportunity to perform as a part of Asbury’s theatre program. Kaleb is thankful to all of the directors and stage managers who have helped him become a better actor during this process!
Luke Price (Cody)
Luke Price is a Junior Media Communication major from Cincinnatti, OH. He did musical theatre as a kid, but this is his first play. He is very grateful for the support from his parents, friends, and his professors.
Jeremy Joshua Simmons (Ray)
Jeremy Joshua Simmons (Ray) is a recent MBA graduate who lives in Wilmore, KY. Previous Asbury Theatre credits include Clown (39 Steps), FBI Agent (You Can’t Take It with You), and Don John (Much Ado About Nothing). You may have seen him as Tybalt/Friar Lawrence (Romeo & Juliet at WillMore Shakespeare), as Steward (Into the Woods at Woodford Theatre), or as Horton (Seussical at Stage Right Acting). Jeremy would like to thank God and his family for their support and Jim, Carol, and Harvey for giving him a chance. He hopes to meet you after the show!
Jaxon Landers (David)
Jaxon Landers achieved his Bachelors in Acting for Film at NYFA South Beach, he is from Macon, Georgia. You may have seen him in films such as Rideshare, Wolfie, Oregon, or seen his Stage work in Tomorrow of Men as Angelo, or as Alex in Halo the Play. Jaxon Landers thanks his support to his family, and friends who have supported him endlessly.
Mary Cargill (Kendra)
Mary Cargill (Kendra) is a Freshman, majoring in Theatre at BCTC in Lexington, KY. This is her first play and first production at Asbury. Previously, she performed as an ensemble in Hairspray at Lyric Theatre in Lexington last year, and took on supporting roles as Janice and Marina in Between the Lines at Tates Creek High School the year before. You may recognize her as one of the Fates in Hadestown at Woodford Theatre that was performed this summer. Mary is so happy to be a part of this project and thanks her supporters, family, and director for the opportunity.
Sarah Neumann (Extra)
Sarah Neumann (Extra) is a freshman majoring in English Education. She’s spent most of her life in Klaipeda, Lithuania, though she was born in Illinois. She’s excited to be even a small part of theater here at Asbury and hopes to broaden and deepen her experience in the future.
Elizabeth Israel (Lisa)
Elizabeth (Lisa) is a Freshman Theatre major. 40 Acres is Elizabeth’s first production with Asbury’s Theatre company and she is very excited to be apart of it. Elizabeth is signed with Heyman Talent agency as an actor and is hoping to make this her career. She has been in local commercials and short films. Elizabeth is also extremely grateful for her friends and family who has shown nothing but support!
Luke deMena (Kyle Jones)
Luke deMena is a Sophomore Theatre major from Wuhan, China. You may have seen him in Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” as Trinculo last year or as Lionel from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” last spring. He thanks his parents for believing in him as well as the friends who have encouraged him in his journey.
Jazmyn Lorentzen (Cathleen)
Jazmyn is a Junior theatre major from Sellersburg, Indiana. You may have seen her in "A Woman of No Importance" as Mrs. Arbuthnot, "The 39 Steps" as Anabella Schmidt, or "The Tempest" as Iris. You may also recognize her as the director of "The Sound of Music" this past spring. She is so glad to be a part of this production and hopes that the audience will enjoy the show!
Michael Moeller (Merit)
Michael Moeller is a graduate from Asbury University and a Media Communications Major from Kentucky. You can see his works from “A Woman of No Importance” as Lord Illingsworth or as Travis from “Midnight Fare” that won Best Actor from The Big Sandy Film Festival. Michael Thanks his family, friends, Jim Shores and Carol Anderson for never giving up on him and supporting his dreams to perform and create stories.
Myles Jordan (Marshall)
Myles Jordan (Marshall) is an actor from Louisville, Kentucky. Since 2020, he has starred in numerous productions ranging in shorts films, features and TV shows. Projects include shorts from the 48 Hour Film Project like “Bad Faith” in 2023 and “Dead Air” in 2024. Earlier this year, he made his stage debut as Rashid Williams in the 10 minute play “Life’s Not Fair!”. Myles continues to express his love for the arts and evolving his craft with the support of friends and family.
Carol Anderson (Maymie)
