NUNSENSE
A Musical Comedy
Five nuns, one variety show, and a fundraiser that gets gloriously out of hand.
The Little Sisters of Hoboken take the stage to raise money for a very urgent cause — and the result is a riotous evening of song, tap, and habit-forming hilarity. Asbury Theatre opens the season with this student led beloved musical comedy.

When a kitchen mishap leaves the convent in a financial bind, the surviving Little Sisters of Hoboken do the only sensible thing: throw a variety show. What follows is an evening of show-stopping numbers, tap-dancing nuns, comic confessions, and irrepressible charm.
A long-running favorite that has delighted audiences for decades, Nunsense is bright, big-hearted, and packed with laughs — the perfect way to open our season.

THE RUBY SUNRISE
A Drama
A young dreamer, a barn full of wires, and the invention that would change the world.
Spanning two generations, this stirring American drama follows one woman's fierce belief that she can build the future — and asks who gets remembered when history is written. A powerful centerpiece for our fall season.

In a rural barn in the 1920s, a determined young woman pours everything she has into an impossible dream: inventing television. Decades later, her story collides with the people now bringing it to the screen — and the truth of who built the future becomes a question of memory, ambition, and credit.
Moving between two eras, The Ruby Sunrise is a luminous, deeply human play about idealism and the cost of invention. Don't miss this thought-provoking main-stage production.

ANNE OF GREEN GABLES: THE MUSICAL
A Musical · Co-produced with the Asbury University Music Department
An orphan with an unstoppable imagination finds her way home.
The cherished story of Anne Shirley comes to vivid musical life. Mistakenly sent to a farm that wanted a boy, this spirited redhead wins over a whole community — and your heart. A joyful spring finale to our season.

Full synopsis: When the imaginative, irrepressible Anne Shirley arrives at Green Gables by mistake, the quiet brother and sister who took her in aren't quite sure what to do with her. But Anne's boundless spirit, runaway imagination, and gift for finding kindred spirits soon transform the farm — and the whole village — around her.
Based on L.M. Montgomery's beloved novel and brought to the stage in a warm, tuneful musical, this co-production with the Music Department closes our season with charm, humor, and a whole lot of heart.
