Whitworth Theatre is preparing a special rehearsed reading of the Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning play Angels in America, Part One: Millennium Approaches, by Tony Kushner. Set in 1980s New York City during the AIDS epidemic, this play is about interconnected individuals wrestling with heaven and hell and searching for more life at the close of the 20th century. Our community is excited to share this beautiful, challenging and thought-provoking experience with you.
