Sam Smith
Sam is from Rock Springs. He enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons, reading, and spending time outdoors. He has been involved in previous Horizon shows including: A Christmas Carol, The Wizard of Oz, and Christmas Through the Ages. Sam would like to thank his parents Anne and Birch Smith for supporting him and encouraging him to follow his theatrical ambitions.

Clayton Boren
Clayton works at Cowboy Donuts, and recently earned an Associates of Arts in Musical Theatre from Western Wyoming Community College. Most recently Clayton performed in Man of La Mancha, and Music of the Muppets at the WWCC Theatre.

Timothy Clyde
Timothy Clyde is a recent graduate of Western Wyoming, where he earned his A.A. in Musical Theater. His past roles include the Emcee in Cabaret, Dimitir in Anastasia, Adam in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, and Billy Flynn in Chicago. Timothy would like to thank his friends, Megan, and Anthony.

Ava Nettik
Ava is from Rock Springs. Something interesting about Ava is she’s performed in Ballet West’s Nutcracker. It is the longest running Nutcracker in the USA. Aba has been a performer her whole life, and a dancer for about 8 years. Her favorite show she’s been in was Anastasia with Western Theatre in 2024. Ava wants to thank her parents, siblings Raif and Molly, and Grandma Beth. Also all of her friends for supporting her in her dreams.

Sarah Schaeperkoetter
Sarah is one of the founders of Horizon, along with her husband Cory, and she is excited to get a chance to be onstage beside him. She is an alumni of the WWCC theater program, and some of her favorite roles have included The Narrator- Joseph, Glinda- The Wizard of Oz, Deb- Ordinary Days, and Meg- Little Women. When she is not performing or producing a show, she can be found teaching, sewing, playing piano, or baking. She’d like to thank Cory, her rock and her favorite person, and all her onstage kids for being fun to work with.

Keith Ferguson

Keith Ferguson is a writer, actor, singer and producer of multiple projects. IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE – The Musical, as well as A CHRISTMAS CAROL – A New Musical, both written with collaborator Bruce Greer, have been produced professionally and by community groups hundreds of times throughout the United States, the UK and Canada. Ferguson & Greer have also written multiple musicals and songs for major publishing houses. Their musical HIDDEN, based on the Book of Esther, is currently in development.

As an actor, Keith has performed with the Dallas Theater Center Children’s Theater, Theater Three, Lyric Stage and the Dallas Children’s Theater. He is a proud member of Actors Equity. He and wife Jennifer live in the Dallas area and are the proud parents of two adult sons, who are also successful actors, singers and musicians.

 

Bruce Greer

Bruce Greer has become one of the most popular and highly regarded writers for church music in the country with hundreds of titles and projects published by a wide array of leading publishers. He has won a Dove Award, Christian Music’s highest honor, for his arranging and orchestrating. His commanding solo piano artistry, as well as his artistic collaboration with Grammy-winning vocalist, Cynthia Clawson, has taken him around the world, (from England to Asia, Canada and all over the U.S.) performing in churches, conferences and leading concert halls. Bruce has musically directed and played for various theatres here in DFW and currently serves as Music Supervisor for Lyric Stage in Dallas. He is pursuing his passion for writing musical theater and frequently collaborates with lyricist Keith Ferguson. They have found success through their works, most notably their popular musical adaptations of It’s a Wonderful Life (licensing available through www.BroadwayLicensing.com), and A Christmas Carol. Their musical Hidden, based on the Book of Esther, is in development. Also, the duo has written a comedic musical adaptation John Grisham’s novel, Skipping Christmas. And their latest musical is Canceling Christmas, based on the historic toymaker of the erector set, A.C. Gilbert and his effort during WW1 to save Christmas. Bruce currently serves as Chief Accompanist at First Baptist Dallas. Bruce and Kim, his precious wife of close to forty years, have four married sons and ten grandkids. www.BruceGreer.com
