Braden Nicholson
Braden developed a passion for acting since he was seven. A designer as well as actor, he employs his love and skill for technology to integrate the technological aspects that add an entirely new and creative element to War of the Roses. When not spending his time with the play, he is either taking photos or researching the latest Tesla software update release notes.

Luca is an undercover mercenary agent and sound designer, combining precision with a silent professionalism in both his military and theatrical pursuits. His unique blend of skills, coupled with his commitment to excellence, has earned him recognition as a top performer in both fields. Luca's passion for action and attention to detail make every performance, be it in combat or in the sound booth, a testament to his expertise.

Simon Payne
From visual effects to CGI to computer generated imagery to vfx, Simon is concerned with all things special effects. While his 3d program of choice is Blender, he has been known to dabble in the 2d realm with the adobe suite. This is the second production, working alongside the sound and video crew to combine theater with film.

John is one of the many sophomores in the Omnibus Players at the Heights School. He is the current lighting director and was the lighting assistant for previous plays. John intends to stay with the drama club until his graduation from the Heights.

Simon Vitz
Simon is super excited to act for the first time in a Heights production! He has previously been the Prop Master for the Heights in Meprises, Graham, and others. Aside from collecting props and challenging the Throne of England, Simon enjoys writing, woodcarving, learning languages, and hanging out with his friends.

Jackson McDonnell is a freshman currently in his freshman year. In his free time: baseball and also blasting music. The number is 6, and he’s okay with that, he has stage managed all the plays that he has been a part of at The Heights. “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?” - Dr. Seuss

avid is sophomore in 10th grade. He has done many plays before and has also stage managed, both of which he will be doing for this play. During his time he enjoys not doing homework and instead playing either magic the gathering or video games.

Sam likes the challenge of building things and enjoyed painting the set for The Hobbit. He spends times insulting people, and aspires to joining the Marines after college.

MVB Costumes
Maria is an independent costume designer, owner of MVB Costumes based in McLean, VA, as well as being an educator and musician. She has been delighted to design costumes for The Heights’ theatrical productions from Star Wars Shakespeare through Meprises. Recently Maria served as costume assistant for Charades Theatre touring from Scotland, which performed a musical exploration of Alexander Fleming and the discovery of penicillin. Maria can regularly be found costuming for professional theaters around the DC area as well as high schools in Montgomery County, MD, and Fairfax County, VA. Past directing experience includes an original adaptation of Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. www.mvbcostumes.com

Joseph Bissex
An avid fan of all things theatrical, Mr. Bissex has directed the Omnibus Players program since 2009. He has directed, designed, and performed in over 70 shows with professional, community, and school theaters. Favorite roles include Autolycus in The Winter's Tale and John Proctor in The Crucible. Favorite shows directed outside The Heights are Witness for the Prosecution and Romeo and Juliet. Omnia Omnibus!

Mr. Andrew Acevedo
A native of Bogotá, Colombia, Mr. Acevedo earned his B.S. in Physical Science from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1979, then served at sea as a weapons and operations specialist on ships of the U.S. Naval Fleet, and served at the Bureau of Naval Personnel as a special assistant for reserve officer promotions. Andrew retired from the US Navy after more than twenty years of service and relocated to the Washington, D.C. area. Andrew began teaching at The Heights in 2006. Andrew teaches all levels of The Heights Spanish curriculum. His hobbies include reading, travel, automobile restoration and home remodeling. He lives in Chevy Chase.
