Putting on a quality show requires expenses that a secondary school can not accommodate. All of us involved in the theatre program here at New Bern High School would like to thank you in advance for considering giving to our program. Our goal for the 2022/2023 school year is $10,000 with the following breakdown:
Fall: straight play = $2,000
Spring: musical = $5,000
International Thespian Society State Competition Expenses = $3,000

Entertain: Your generosity will support any costs associated with putting on a production including: royalties, music tracks, scripts, tech, props, costumes, makeup/ hair, and advertising for each production. Enrich: Foster a new generation of art lovers by supporting programs that introduce the performing arts to teens through productions and programming for our community through student-led performances including actors, crew, and the production team. Educate: Leave a lasting impact by supporting educational field trips, competitions, and workshop opportunities for our students via the International Thespian Society which greatly benefits students pursuing both the technical and performing aspects of theatre. |
