Over the past 41 years, Kinetics Dance Theatre has forged a vibrant and enduring presence in Howard County and beyond, reaching thousands through our education, performance, and outreach. 

From our founding in 1984, Kinetics has served as a non-profit organization with a mission to provide diverse, equitable and inclusive dance experiences to a broad community, all in the pursuit of promoting the development of contemporary dance as a vital art form. Our programming spans the rich choreographic work generated by our Professional Company, the technical and artistic training available through our School of Contemporary Dance and Youth Ensembles, and myriad outreach initiatives extending into the community.
