A Christmas Carol Cast

Maya Adams (Schoolchild, Ignorance, Townsperson; u/s Mistletoe Girl)
Maya is a middle school student who has performed in several musicals, including as Young Fiona in SHREK JR. She has also been in productions of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, MARY POPPINS JR., SCHOOL OF ROCK, and THE MUSIC MAN. Mostly recently, she was a Stage Manager in OUR TOWN and is currently in NEWSIES. Maya loves to sing and has performed solos and participates in chorus.
Cameron Alison (Young Ebenezer at School, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson)
Cameron is a sixth grader at Northwest Guilford Middle School. He is honored to be a part of the cast of A CHRISTMAS CAROL and work with this talented group. He was recently seen in Northwest Guilford Middle’s OUR TOWN, as well as Triad Pride Acting Company’s ASSASSINS. Prior to those performances, he enjoyed working with Kernersville Little Theater in THE LITTLE MERMAID, as well as SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE BAKER STREET IRREGULARS. His performance as Ash in the latter production earned him the Best Male Lead in a Play Award. Cameron enjoys going on adventures with his family, running 5Ks, and making people laugh.
Jackson Barnes (Dick Wilkins, Belle's Husband, Guest at Fred's, Mourner, Townsperson; u/s Marley, Fred, Old Joe)
Jackson is a creative artist based in the Piedmont Triad. In May he graduated from High Point University with a BA in Theatre Performance, concentration in Musical Theatre. Jackson is currently in graduate school to obtain his Masters in Communication and Leadership. In addition, he has trained at The Broadway Collective, a rigorous musical theatre academy where he studied with Tony Award-winning performers and directors. Jackson has been performing across NC for the past sixteen years. Recent credits include Jesus (GODSPELL), Jimmy Ray (BRIGHT STAR), Angel/Referee (KINKY BOOTS), Brad (THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW), and Leaf Coneybear (THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE). He was the proud recipient of HPU’s Excellence in Performance Award for his portrayal of Jesus in GODSPELL. In 2018, Jackson made his NYC debut when he performed in the pilot productions of CHICAGO: HIGH SCHOOL EDITION and NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT: YOUNG PERFORMERS EDITION, where he originated the role of Cookie McGee. Reece Biggs (Schoolchild, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson; u/s Want)
Reece is full of Christmas cheer to perform in A CHRISTMAS CAROL. She most recently performed in Northwest Guilford Middle School's OUR TOWN as Act I Stage Manager. This summer, Annabelle performed in the Community Theatre of Greensboro's productions of MATILDA, JR. and LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD. She also was a cast member in the first musical at North West Guilford Middle's first musical, GREASE. Annabelle started acting with Drama Kids International as Tilly the tightrope walker in MYSTERY AT THE BIG TOP. She would like to thank her family for all their support during the busy holiday season.
Elim Brookshire (Peter Cratchit, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson)
Elim, fourteen years old, first found a love for the stage in the summer of 2021 when he volunteered at VBS and was cast as Thomas in THE ROCKY RAILWAY at Westover Church. He since has performed in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, CURTAINS, THE MUSIC MAN. His most noteworthy role has been Danny in GREASE this past spring at Northwest Guilford Middle School. Currently, he is a freshman Theater major at Penn-Griffin High School for the Arts. Elim was most recently cast as Randy in ASCENSION DAY and the Mock Turtle in ALICE IN WONDERLAND, performing this November. He has the privilege to train at Shakespeare's Globe in London in April 2023 and will be performing in Chicago in the spring as well. Elim believes the stage is a team sport and enjoys working and laughing with his cast mates. Elim says “everybody wins when we hear the applause and the curtain falls.”
Pierce Brookshire (Tiny Tim)
Pierce just turned seven years old, attends Colfax Elementary School, and is in 1st grade. Pierce’s nickname is Tiny Diamond, and he is appropriately making his debut on the stage this holiday season as Tiny Tim. He has sung several times onstage at Westover Church with friends. Pierce is a competitive gymnast and has been a member of the USA Boys Gymnastics Team for two years. He trains four days a week and will be competing throughout the 2022-2023 winter season. Pierce has earned several gymnastic medals to date. He adores his big brother, Elim, and loves to sing all his brother’s songs and go to all his shows as his brother’s #1 fan. Pierce hopes to make Big Brother Elim proud with his theatrical debut.
Keaton Brower (Young Scrooge, Fred's Guest, Mourner, Townsperson; u/s Bob Cratchit)
Keaton is a Winston-Salem-based theatre artist who grew up seeing the NC Shakespeare Festival's A CHRISTMAS CAROL, performed in the 2009 production, and returned for GFT's 2021 revival as actor and marketing director. Credits: Triad Stage, New Repertory Theatre, the Boston Center for American Performance, the Cherokee Historical Association, NC Governor's School East, the Barn Dinner Theatre, and more. Keaton also served as a producer for the internationally screened short film NIGHT. Next: directing Triad Pride Acting Company's DEATHTRAP and Piedmont Players Theatre's JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH. Pauline Cobrda (2nd Philanthropist, Mrs. Fezziwig, Ghost of Christmas Present)
Pauline has been associated with the NCShakes production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL since 1987 and is thrilled to be back with Goodly Frame’s re-staging for the second year. She is proud to continue composer David Bishop’s musical legacy and serve as Music Director again this year. Thank you for supporting live theatre. Kaitlyne Colbert (Belle, Baker Lady, Guest at Fred's)
Kaitlyne is a North Carolina-based artist who has performed regionally and internationally on opera and musical theater stages. She is excited to be returning to Goodly Frame’s production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL for the second year. Other favorite roles include Sarah Riley in the premiere of AN EXTRA PENNY, Sibella in A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, Papagena in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE, Mary Warren in THE CRUCIBLE, Shelby in STEEL MAGNOLIAS, and Fredrieka in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. She would like to thank her family and Kyle for always supporting her wholeheartedly.
Joe Collins (Caroler, Fred, Fezziwig Employee, Mourner)
Joe is excited to return for A CHRISTMAS CAROL once again! He was recently seen as Mortimer in ARSENIC AND OLD LACE at Kernersville Little Theatre. Other credits include Dad in CHRISTMAS IN THE SMOKIES and Swing in DREAMLAND DRIVE-IN at Dollywood, Dakota Dan in WHISTLIN' WILLIE'S WESTERN WAKE at Cedar Point, and Fred/Caroler/Fezziwig Employee/Mourner in last year's production of GFT's A CHRISTMAS AROL. This show holds a special place in his heart, as the 2010 NCSF production was his first professional show after graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC! He wants to thank us girlfriend of 2+ years and his family for the immense support in continuing his theatrical journey! Break a leg! And Christmas time is the BEST!
Emmaline Conlin (Caroler, Fezziwig Employee, Guest at Fred's; u/s Sarah)
Emmaline Conlin is currently a senior at Greensboro College, she is working to gain her BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance. She was born and raised in Gwinnett County Georgia and moved to Greensboro for her undergrad. This is Emmaline’s first time working with Goodly Frame Theatre and she is very excited to see where it leads her.
Ryland Cooley (Schoolchild, Fezziwig Guest, Turkey Boy, Townsperson; u/s Peter Cratchit)
Ryland is thrilled to be part of A CHRISTMAS CAROL! This is Ryland’s first time on the regional stage. His previous roles include Teen Angel in GREASE and George Gibbs in OUR TOWN. Ryland was selected for the National Honors Chorus in 2019 and All-County Chorus in 2019 and 2022. When he’s not singing or acting, he enjoys swimming and getting together with friends. Ryland thanks all who have supported him in his passion for music and theatre. He knows without their appreciation of his abilities, none of this would be possible.
Amir K. Cooper (Beggar, Guest at Fred's, Ghost of Christmas Future)
Amir is a Drama graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a minor in Musical Theatre. They are thrilled to be returning to the stage with Goodly Frame Theatre for this annual production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Amir has previously been seen as Dick Wilkins in last year’s production, Kent in GFT’s KING LEAR, and in several other shows and films around the Triad. This particular production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL holds a lot of meaning to them, and they are excited to reinvigorate the spirit of Christmas and Pedro’s legacy in all of you!
Ella Gillette (Martha Cratchit, Schoolchild, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson)
Ella is excited to return to the role of Martha after making her theatre debut in A CHRISTMAS CAROL last year. Since then, her favorite roles have been Heather Duke in HEATHERS, Margot in LEGALLY BLONDE, and Connie in A CHORUS LINE. Ella is in 9th grade and has studied ballet and danced competitively for many years. She trains locally at NC Theatre Conservatory as well as in New York at IAMT and BAA. She would like to thank Goodly Frame Theatre for inviting her back for this wonderful holiday tradition.
Melanie Matthews (Handy) (1st Philanthropist, Ghost of Christmas Past, Guest at Fred's, Mrs. Dilber, Townsperson)
Melanie Matthews (Handy) is a Greensboro native. She obtained her BFA in Acting from NC A&T State University and worked as an artist in Philadelphia after obtaining her MFA. She currently teaches at High Point Central High School and the UNC School of the Arts.
Sarah Jenkins (Anne Cratchit, Townsperson)
Sarah is excited to be back onstage as part of her favorite Christmas tradition! Regionally, Sarah has appeared with Temple Theatre, High Point University, The Lost Colony, NCShakes, and others. Favorite roles include Cinderella (INTO THE WOODS), Marianne (CONSTELLATIONS), Kitty (THE DROWSY CHAPERONE), and Vivienne (LEGALLY BLONDE). Harper Kaley (Schoolchild, Fezziwig Guest, Belle's Daughter, Want, Townsperson; u/s Turkey Girl)
Harper is a 7th grader at Mendenhall Middle School. Favorite past roles include Molly in ANNIE with Creative Greensboro, Matilda in MATILDA and Guard in THE WIZARD OF OZ at the Community Theatre of Greensboro, Tiny Tim and Belinda Cratchit in 2018 and 2019's A CHRISTMAS AROL with Triad Stage, and Want in last year's A CHRISTMAS AROL with Goodly Frame Theatre. Harper is thrilled to be back for another year of this wonderful tale!
Laney Kaley (Fan, Fezziwig Guest, Townsperson)
Laney is a 10th grader at Weaver Academy majoring in Theater. Favorite past roles include Rhoda in BAD SEED with Creative Greensboro, Myrtle in BEAUTIFUL STAR with Triad Stage, Teen Anastasia in ANASTASIA at Weaver, and Fan in three productions of A CHRISTMAS CAROL - two with Triad Stage and one with Goodly Frame. She is so grateful to continue to share this beautiful holiday tradition and to work with such amazing people!
Jacob Charles Luck (Caroler, Schoolteacher, Guest at Fred's, Chief Mourner)
Jacob, back on the regional stage for the first time since 2018, is Director of Theatre Arts at Northwest Guilford Middle School. Directing credits: GREASE, OUR TOWN, FOOTLOOSE (upcoming). Trinity Shayne Maggard (Sarah, Fezziwig Employee, Charwoman, Townsperson; u/s Caroler, Belle)
Trinity Shayne is very excited to be making her Goodly Frame Theatre debut in this production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL. She is a recent graduate from High Point University with degrees in Theatre and Spanish, specializing in Musical Theatre. Recent credits of hers include BRIGHT STAR (Alice), LITTLE WOMEN (Marmee), THE WEDDING SINGER (Julia), and WORKING (Delores). Trinity Shayne would like to thank her friends and family for their continued love and support and the production team for the opportunity to help bring this timeless tale to the stage.
Delaney Miller (Schoolchild, Mistletoe Girl, Townsperson; u/s Fan, Belle's Daughter, Martha)
Delaney is an eighth grader at Northwest Guilford Middle, where she enjoys her musical theatre and theatre arts classes the most. She is also a student at in-STUDIO, where she continues to hone her acting skills. Delaney has been in several local productions including CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, JR., PRINCESS AND THE GOBLIN, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, JR. and JUNIE B. JONES. Her favorite role to date has been Sandy in her school’s Spring 2022 production of GREASE. Delaney is grateful to be part of this production and would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Goodly Frame Theatre for this opportunity.
Jamie O'Keith (Fezziwig Employee, Guest at Fred's, Mourner, Townsperson; u/s Beggar, Fezziwig, Ghost of Christmas Future, Old Joe)
Jamie Hairston-Wilson (also known as Sir Jamie O’Keith) is an actor, model, writer, singer, dancer, and proud father of three. He has a love for the arts and many things creative, bringing positivity and laughter whenever possible. Jamie recently filmed his first film role in David Kirkland's UNDERNEATH: CHILDREN UNDER THE SUN (coming soon). He also writes a style and self-care blog at HisImageQ.com.
Seth Sebren (Bob Cratchit; u/s Scrooge)
Seth holds an MFA in Directing from The School of Theatre at Florida State and a BFA in Acting from UNCG Theatre. He has worked professionally as an actor, director, designer, and fight choreographer with companies from North Carolina to California. Seth currently serves on the faculty of Greensboro College Theatre Department and Wake Technical Community College and as Resident Fight Choreographer for Glow Lyric Theatre in Greenville, SC. Some of Seth’s past credits include directing MACBETH, FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, TARTUFFE, THE SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS, and THE CAT IN THE HAT; acting in WRIGHTS OF PASSAGE, FORTUNE, JACKIE AND ME, SPAMALOT, and HATFIELDS AND MCCOYS; and fight choreographing STINNEY, AIDA, CARMEN, FIDELIO, ROMEO ET JULIETTE, WEST SIDE STORY, and THE CRUCIBLE (opera). He worked for the NC Shakespeare Festival five times, with four of those being A CHRISTMAS CAROL productions. Axel Tolksdorf (Jacob Marley, Mr. Fezziwig, Guest at Fred's, Old Joe, Townsperson)
Axel is an actor and playwright whose works have been featured throughout the region. He has previously worked with Goodly Frame Theatre in their production of KING LEAR, and this is his second year appearing in A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Most recently he played Captain von Trapp in Creative Greensboro's THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Axel lives in Greensboro with his wife Martha and their three daughters.
Mark Woodard (Ebenezer Scrooge)
An alumnus of the NCShakes production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Mark made the transition last season from Scrooge’s nephew to Old Ebenezer himself. He is honored to return this season in that role. Other regional credits include roles with Ensemble Stage, NC Stage Company, Temple Theatre, Sigmon Theatrical, Blowing Rock Stage Company, and many more. A graduate of the Catawba College School of Performing Arts, Mark is now based in Western North Carolina, but always loves coming back to the Triad, especially for the holidays.
