Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic is a fast-paced comedy that follows the students who weren’t the chosen heroes. While a certain famous boy wizard saves the day, the loyal, well-meaning “Puffs” are just trying to survive seven chaotic years at a magical school. Full of heart, humor, and plenty of wizarding mishaps, Puffs celebrates the underdogs, the awkward friendships, and the magic of being ordinary in an extraordinary world.

Our Main Cast will perform Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening, while our Understudy Cast will take the stage for a special Saturday afternoon performance.

About CGHS Theatre Program

CG Theatre produces a full-scale musical in the fall, a stage play in the spring, and student-directed One Acts in the winter. This season, we’re excited to add two new opportunities for students! Our Competition One Act will compete against other schools for a chance to advance to the Indiana State Thespian Conference in the winter. We are also introducing a Senior Musical, a student-led production in the spring that will showcase our senior performers.

Any CGHS student may audition for a role or volunteer to help with stage and technical production. Callouts and updates are shared through school announcements and on the Theatre Department’s Instagram page

Current theatre courses at CGHS include Theatre Arts, Advanced Theatre Arts, Technical Theatre, Advanced Technical Theatre, Advanced Acting, Improv and Sketch Comedy, Film Literature, Dramatic Literature, and Shakespeare.
