Ross MacDonald
This is Mr MacDonald's fifth year at BB&N. Since arriving at the school he has directed/produced all of the Upper School Fall and Winter Shows, (even during the Hybrid year!) and leant a hand with all the Spring offerings. He was the founder and Director of The BB&N 'Arts Fest '23'; and co-founded both the Drama and Rugby Clubs. He is a graduate of The University of Southampton and London Academy of Performing Arts. He is an Actors Equity member, and prior to life as a full time educator worked as a professional actor, director and producer. Ross also served in Helmand 2007 with the 'Londons', as part of the British Forces contribution to the NATO mission.

Joel Sindelar
Joel Sindelar is a performer, conductor, and teacher from Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. Mr. Sindelar is founder and Executive Director of the SingPositive family chorus in J.P.; he has released two albums with his vocal trio The Other Georgia, and performs regularly with local afro-pop band Kalifa & Koliba on baritone sax. In 2021, he wrote, recorded and produced 20 musical numbers for BB&N’s musical film Dream. Mr. Sindelar graduated from New England Conservatory of Music with a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting; he also holds a degree in Molecular Biology from MIT. Beyond his musical life, Mr. Sindelar enjoys spending time with his family camping, hiking and paddling rivers in the woods of New England and Colorado.

Cayes Jarda
When asked to join the musical as a choreographer, Mx. Jarda didn't blink an eye before saying yes. Oddfellows Playhouse is where Mx first discovered his love for drama & dance at the early age of five. Mx's favorite memory is the years performing at the Bushnell in Hartford, CT, with the Hart School of Ballet's rendition of The Nutcracker. Mx. Jarda started as a Munchkin and worked up to the role of Toy Solider.

Akemi Ueda
Akemi Ueda is in her fourth year as an English teacher at BB&N. She has long been an avid amateur pianist and is excited to join the musical again this year as the accompanist and pianist in the pit orchestra.

Adam Howarth
As chief button pusher, knob turner and wood whisperer Adam works with a top-notch group of students to create the scenery, lighting, sound, and video worlds inhabited by our productions. His journey has included teaching positions in North Hollywood at Harvard Westlake, the Atlanta metro area at Georgia State, Clayton State Universities and Marist School, and in Boston at Emerson College. He has designed for regional theater and themed attractions including Disney and Universal theme parks. Adam has garnered multiple awards including an Ovation in Los Angeles, Motif in New England, and numerous Suzi Bass awards in Georgia for his designs. Adam serves as chair of the art department at BB&N and thanks the school and our parents for their generous support.

Costume Designer
Louise Brown
Ms. Brown graduated from the University of Bristol with a BA in Fine Art. Louise has worked in television and film and has been on both sides of the camera, as a producer and performer. In 2002 she joined the faculty at Buckingham Brown and Nichols School in Cambridge, MA as the Upper School dance instructor, taking over the position as Costume Designer to the theater department in 2005 while fine tuning her sewing and pattern making skills at Boston’s School of Fashion Design. In 2007 she created the After School Costume Design program, teaching the fundamentals of garment construction and costume design to upper school students, in the last 14 years she has designed more than 40 productions for the BB&N theater department. She is also an artist and historical costumer with a passion for 18th and 19th Century garments and construction techniques.

Aparajita Srivastava
Aparajita is a junior, and this is her second BB&N Production. Aparajita is a regular performer here in Cambridge. Aparajita recently performed at the MFA as part of the Diwali celebrations.

Daisy is a senior and this is her second BB&N Production. An accomplished dancer in her own right; Daisy will be going onto explore and study dance at the next level.

Finnian Weigand
Finnian is a junior and has been a dedicated player of the Theater program as a performer, creator and crew member. Finn is also learning to fly and a driving force behind Red Ribbon.

Elliot Cless
Elliot Cless is privileged to work with the amazing student actors, crew members, and the stellar instrumentalists in the “Annie” Pit! Special thanks to Mr. Howarth for making the band sound great, and as always, to all of my wonderful faculty colleagues on the production team! This is Dr. Cless’ fifth year collaborating with the BB&N theater program. He received his hard knocks at Tufts, Northwestern, and Bucky High.

As a senior at BB&N, Ethan is working on his fourth high school musical as part of the marketing/production team. He enjoys music, film, photography, and basically any other type of art and is excited and thankful to participate in his final winter musical at BB&N.

Iris Fahy
Iris is in 10th grade at BB&N and is so excited to work with the stage management team this year, as this is her first time participating in the BB&N Theater Arts. Outside of school, she likes to watch movies, go to ceramics classes, and play with her pet parrot! She is very appreciative of the cast and crew's hard work and hopes that you enjoy the show!
