The Moors Cast

Brandie Culbreath (Agatha)
BRANDIE CULBREATH (Agatha)  is excited to make her BSP debut with this production of The Moors. She was most recently seen on stage as "Ms. Holgate" in Bulletproof Backpack with CTW and as "Marie Chartier" in the Sherlock in Love trilogy with The Toledo Rep. She thanks her friends and family for their love and encouragement and the cast and production team for their time and collaboration.
Samantha Heater (Huldey)
SAMANTHA HEATER (Huldey) is thrilled to be playing Huldey in BSP’s production of The Moors! In her spare time, Sam is a custom Funko pop creator and pet portrait artist. She’s also on the Board for the Black Swamp Players and was recently seen as Hannah in Puffs, Nora 1 in Nora: A Doll’s House, Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show and Shelby Thorpe in The Spitfire Grill, among others! Shout out to her dog children Ghost and Cisco, the loves of her life!
Laura Crawford (Emilie)
LAURA CRAWFORD (Emilie) is a mild-mannered (?) purveyor of sweets by day. By night, she can often be found hanging around one theatre or another, having worked as an actor, director, stage manager, and/or sound designer for The Village Players, The Toledo Rep, The Valentine Theatre, and Children's Theatre Workshop. She'd like to thank her family and friends for their support and understanding, and her Patrick for keeping her sane.
Savannah Nine (Marjory/Mallory)
SAVANNAH NINE (Marjory) (she/her) is excited to make her Black Swamp Players debut as Marjory/Mallory. She is a graduate of Oberlin College where she majored in English/Creative Writing and minored in Theater. She has been involved in theater across Northwest Ohio in many capacities since childhood. Her most recent credits include Freida/Betty in Sunday In The Park with George at the Toledo Rep., Helga in Cabaret with 3B, Maureen in All This Intimacy with the Oberlin College Theater Department and directing Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at Oberlin College. She is an avid reader and writer and hopes to put her degree to good use in journalism or television. She is so honored to be a part of this production of The Moors. She is an unironic lover of Gothic literature and horror aficionado. She would like to thank her family, friends, and boyfriend for all of their support! She is so proud of the cast and crew and their great work!
Dillon Sickels (The Mastiff)
DILLON SICKELS (The Mastiff) is thrilled to make his debut with Black Swamp Players. His most recent roles include Roat (Wait Until Dark), Macbeth (Macbeth), and Daryl (Bright Star). Dillon studied the art of theatre-making and performance at The University of Toledo where he received a B.A. Additionally, Dillon works as a freelance voiceover artist, writer, and drama coach. His work can be found at DillonSickels.com. Dillon would like to thank his friends and family for always supporting him as well as Nicole and Avery for helping him find a bit of joy in each day.
Monica Hiris (A Moor-Hen)
Monica Hiris (Moor-Hen) was last seen on the Black Swamp Players stage as Siobhan in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. Her favorite roles include Violet in August: Osage County (BSP), Mrs. Baker in A Month of Sundays (Fort Findlay Playhouse), and Bonnie’s mother in Bonnie and Clyde (Toledo Repertoire Theater). Monica has dabbled in film, commercials, and voice acting but has not taken on the role of an animal prior to The Moors, although raging animal instincts have been known to take over in matters concerning the last piece of cheesecake. She has an advanced certificate in acting from the Michigan Actors Studio. Her website is: monicahiris.com.
