Sara joined the board of Black Swamp Players in 2022 and this is her first time directing for the organization. She is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Theatre and Film at BGSU and has been directing for many years in educational and professional theatre. At BGSU she teaches script analysis, directing, and playwriting. In the laWarst several years she has trained in Intimacy Direction and Coordination to stage theatrical, film, and television intimacy, nudity, and sexual violence in an ethical, efficient, and effective manner.
