Jane Burk (Mrs. Davenport)
Jane has been active in community theater for over 50 years. She holds a BA Degree from SUNY Brockport. Her theater experiences range from Production Assistance to Acting to Directing. Jane has been active in the past with Batavia & LeRoy Rotary Shows, Gates Community Players as well as continuing to be an active member of the Batavia Players since the late 1960’s. Jane has participated in many well received theater productions: The Lion In Winter, The Importance of Being Earnest, Mame, Hamlet, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, The Tempest, Cabaret, Blithe Spirit, King Lear, Uncle Vanya, Almost, Maine, and Antony and Cleopatra to name a few. She has also been the Director or Assistant Director of the Shakespeare in Springtime Program. Jane is retired from the Batavia VAMC where she worked for 32 years. Her family includes her husband Patrick, 4 children & their spouses and 7 grandchildren. Jane continues to be thankful for the opportunity to support and be active in the Batavia Players and thanks the community for its ongoing support.
Patrick Burk (Bartender and Singer)
Working in theater and on stage since a child, Patrick Burk is a veteran of a number of shows and appears on stage at the Main St. 56 Theater. Married to E. Jane, he is the dad of 4 children and PopPop to 7 grandchildren. He was a former actor at the Rochester Shakespeare Theater and GEVA Theater and enjoys performing, writing and designing shows. His favorite roles include the title character in The King & I, Daddy Warbucks in Annie and the Gravedigger in Hamlet. In 2018 his first movie, Macbeth, which was shot entirely in the City of Batavia was released in cooperation with the Batavia Players and the Harvester 56 Theater. Mr. Burk loves the musicals RENT, Xanadu, Next to Normal, Mamma Mia and Grey Gardens & the plays Romeo and Juliet, Come Back to the 5 & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean and Mary Stuart.
Samantha Jane Balbi (Honourine Pearson Burk)
Samantha has been a part of Batavia Players since she was six months old and was basically a prop on stage. Samantha is in her sophomore year at Brockport as a Dance major and is thinking about picking up theater. Samantha has been a part of many productions while at Batavia HS such as: Shrek, Sister Act, and Mamma Mia. With the Batavia Players, Newsies, Godspell, Guys and Dolls, Fame, Cry Baby, and so many more. Samantha would like to thank her family and friends that have helped her come this far and wants them all to know she loves you dearly.
Steven Coburn (Old Man)
Steve started with Batavia Players in 2017 at the suggestion of his daughter, and this is now his 21st production with the company. His credits include: On Broadway 8,9,10, and Back on the Boards Again, Frankenstein A New Musical, Cabaret, Annie, Curious Incident Of a Dog In The Night, The Importance of Being Ernest, King Lear, August Osage County, Our Town, Uncle Vanya, Almost, Maine, Drowsy Chaperone, and recently as Antony in Antony and Cleopatra. Some of his favorite roles were Mamma Mia (Bill Austin) and The Rocky Horror Show (Eddie). Steve won a Harvie Award for his performance in Blithe Spirit (Charles)and most recently for 12 Angry Jurors. He and his wife Jodi have 5 children, most of them are involved with the theater on a regular basis.
Jack Patrick Crandall (Russell)
Jack is new to Batavia Players, but has acted in several productions before including The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow) and Seussical (Cat in the Hat). He is excited to perform again.
Sophie Crandall (Nancy Reagan)
Sophie is in the 11th grade at Pembroke High School and has performed with Batavia Players in Christmas Carol (twice), Antony and Cleopatra, and One Act Plays: Mr. Icky. Sophie has participated in past Summer Theater Camps in Seussical Kids, was a Junior Counselor for Peter Pan Jr. and directed scenes in this past Summer Theater Camp production of All Shook Up. She is a student representative on the Board of Directors for Batavia Players. Sophie looks forward to returning to other Main St. 56 Theater performances and programs in the future.
Brianna Jones (Tracy)
Brianna is excited to be working with Batavia Players once again. Her most recent performance with them was Almost, Maine January 2023, but prior to the pandemic, she performed in their production of Our Town, and did volunteer work on Rocky Horror Picture Show and One Act Play Festival Celebrating Thornton Wilder. Brianna graduated from SUNY Brockport with a B.A. in Theatre.  While at Brockport, she was in their production of Prelude To A Kiss, and played the title character in the short play Siohban  She dedicates this performance to her mother, Micki and her grandparents, UJ and Annie Ruth

Amanda Melissa Taylor (Dance Hall Girl)
Amanda is a Manager - Retirement Plan Consulting at Intac FuturePlan (an Ascensus Company), residing in Amherst with her husband Tim and her two children, Liam and Vera. Favorite past roles include Nancy (Oliver), Mina (Dracula the Musical), Edna Louise (Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean),  Elphaba (On Broadway VI), and Susan (Tick, Tick…Boom!). Amanda also directed and performed in Songs For A New World and The Magic Kingdom On Broadway 8.
Abigail Noonan  (Nancy Scarapiano)
Abigail is a native to Attica, NY. Post high school she took a break from theater to pursue linguistic studies at the University of Pittsburgh, where she was a member of a dance club. Since relocating back home she knew that theater was something desperately missed. This is her first production with the Batavia Players. Abigail is very excited to see where this road will take her. Previous performances include A Midsummer Night's Dream, Ashland Falls, and The Hobbit. She would like to thank her cats for always keeping her calm, cool and collected.
Stephen VanValkenburg (Robert Burk)
Stephen is a native of Battle Creek, Michigan currently living in Warsaw, NY. He has appeared in several productions with Batavia players including The Rocky Horror Show, King Lear, The Thornton Wilder One Act Play Festival, Our Town, Back on the Boards Again: A Tribute to Sondheim and The Importance of Being Ernest. He is so thankful to be sharing a stage again with so many talented friends. Past stage credits also include The Music Man, Annie, Oklahoma, Into the Woods and She Loves Me.
Kathy White  (Accompanist)
Kathy is a retired vocal music educator, having taught for 31 ½ years first in Attica and then Byron-Bergen. She has served as GWMEA President, NYSSMA Zone 2 Representative and was a NYSSMA certified vocal adjudicator. In 1999 she was awarded the University of Rochester’s Award for Excellence in Secondary School Teaching, received Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra’s Choral Teacher of the Year in 2007 and was honored as 2019 Individual Artist of the Year from GoArt! Kathy also plays piano and organ for St. Paul Lutheran Church and is the school accompanist at Alexander Central School. She loves working with all of the cast members that she comes in contact with at the theater and appreciates their dedication, hard work and talent that they always put forth as they prepare for their productions. Besides the theater, Kathy is actively involved in her granddaughter’s lives and loves watching them as they have grown to love the fine arts and all aspects of it.
Kerrick Woyshner  (Mr. Fisher)
Kerrick is excited to make his return to the stage with the Batavia Players! In high school, Kerrick performed in such shows as Kiss Me Kate, The Music Man, Guys and Dolls, and Damn Yankees. In college, he performed with the a cappella group Speakeasy and participated in the production of Almost, Maine. Now, Kerrick is a Trade Analyst with HSBC and pursuing his passion of live theater and musicals - typecast for the role of Mr. Fisher! In March, please come see Kerrick as Lewis the Dauphin along with the rest of the Batavia Players in their production of William Shakespeare’s King John! Kerrick would like to thank Mom, Dad, Grandma, Elliott, Owen, Suzanne, Frank, Athan, Travis, and friends for their support.
