Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Cast
LUKE deMENA ( Joseph)A Sophomore Theatre major from New Jersey. You may have seen him as Trinculo in The Tempest last year or Kyle Jones in 40 Acres last semester. He thanks his parents for continuing to support his dreams and for making him the person he is today.
PRESLEY GIBBS (Simeon and Ensemble)A Sophomore from Nashville, TN majoring in Media Communication. She has been a part of roughly 20 productions. Some highlight roles are: Ado Annie (Oklahoma), Jane Banks (Mary Poppins), Alice (Alice in Wonderland), and Young Simba (Lion King). She has also done several studio recording sessions for rehearsal tracks including MTI’s Mary Poppins Jr. (Jane Banks) and Something Rotten Jr. (Ensemble). Presley would like to thank everyone who has come alongside her through her theatre and performance career.
COOPER HENSON (Potiphar and Ensemble)A Freshman from Cincinnati, Ohio. He is very excited to be a part of his first Asbury production, and he thinks the experience has helped improve his character acting and improvisation skills. The comedic role of Potiphar differs strongly from his previous dramatic parts, such as Jack from Newsies and Javert from Les Misérables. Additionally, acting in the round has proved to be a significant challenge for him, but he has learned a lot more about theatre in the process. Cooper wants to thank his family and friends for supporting his acting journey thus far.
SUMMER HOLLIS (Narrator)A Senior Media Communications major with an emphasis in Production Design and a minor in Theatre. She is from Champaign, Illinois where she grew up doing youth theatre. You may have seen her at Asbury as Annabeth Chase in her sophomore musical, The Lightning Thief, a Stepsister in Cinderella, or any of the recent cabarets! Summer would like to thank all of her friends for helping her balance doing this dream role, her senior recital, and working at the Olympics this semester!
VICTORIA LAUDERMILK (Reuben and Ensemble)A Senior English major from Dry Ridge, Kentucky. You may have seen her in Restored Class’s SoMu, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical as Grover. She would like to thank her mother, her siblings, her friends, and professors for always encouraging and supporting her. She’s incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this production.
SAVANNAH LONG (Benjamin and Ensemble)A Freshman Production Design major from Lima, Ohio. This production is her first involvement with Asbury University Theatre. Savannah is thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this production and appreciates the support of her friends and family.
JAZMYN LORENTZEN (Pharaoh and Ensemble)A Senior Theatre major from Charlestown, Indiana. She is excited and grateful that Joseph could be her last show on the Asbury stage. You may have seen her in A Woman of No Importance as Mrs. Arbuthnot, The 39 Steps as Annabella Schmidt, The Tempest as Iris, 40 Acres as Cathleen, or in both Fall Cabarets the past two years. She is proud of her work in the Greathouse Theatre and is thankful for the friends she’s made throughout her time here. Lastly, she thanks her parents for all of the love and support they’ve shown through her whole life.
EM OLSON (Judah and Ensemble)Em is so excited to be in her first show at Asbury. Em is a Freshman Social Work and Sociology major from Louisville, Kentucky. She has done theatre since she was eight. Some of her favorite past roles include Golde in Fiddler on the Roof, Mrs. Frank in Anne Frank, and Janis in Mean Girls. Em would like to thank her friends and family for all the support they have shown during this show!
GABRIELLE STOCKTON (Mrs. Potiphar and Ensemble)A Sophomore from Bloomington, Minnesota. She is double-majoring in English and Sociology, and is a member of the Honors Program. Last spring, in Asbury’s production of Little Women, she had the joy of playing Jo March. She has also been on Asbury’s stage in The Tempest and the Short Play Festival. Some previous productions outside of Asbury include Fiddler on the Roof (Golde), Les Misérables (Mme. Thenardier), Women of Troy (Helen), and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Father Christmas). She would like to thank her parents and her sisters for their love and support!
LUKE ULMER (Jacob, Butler, and Ensemble)An undecided Freshman from Dayton, Ohio. He has played in his high school’s production of As You Like It as Silvius. Since coming to Asbury, Luke has been branching out into many different fields and has been greatly enjoying his many different classes. Ones that are of particular interest to him are his College Writing 2 class and Acting 1 class. He is very happy to have this opportunity to perform in Joseph.
JOELLE YODER (Levi, Gad, Baker, and Ensemble)A Senior Theatre major. In addition to being in last year’s Cabaret performance, she has also helped backstage for Asbury shows. Some of her backstage credits at Asbury include Assistant Stage Manager for 2024’s Cabaret and The Tempest. She has also acted and worked backstage for college productions at Indiana Wesleyan University and Garrett College. Some of these credits include acting in Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast, and Amahl and the Night Visitors, and being Assistant Stage Manager for The Mousetrap and Schoolhouse Rock.
