THE MAIN GOALS OF THIS COMPANY ARE TO :

PRODUCE QUALITY THEATRICAL PERFORMANCES FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT OF THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY COMMUNITY.

PERFORM OUTREACH SHOWS IN COMMUNITY FACILITIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, SENIOR CENTERS, ASSISTED LIVING AND DAY CARE FACILITIES, NURSING HOMES, LIBRARIES, AND OTHER PLACES WHERE THE PUBLIC GATHERS.

SPONSOR WORKSHOPS FOR THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF OLDER ADULTS INTERESTED IN LEARNING THE VARIETY OF SKILLS USED IN THEATRE.

The Speeding Theatre – Over 55 was formed by a group of former UNLV Senior Adult Theatre Program students because it was passionately felt that senior adult artists need to continue in their pursuit of art, culture, socialization, and giving to the community.

The Speeding Theatre – Over 55 Articles of Incorporation were filed with the Nevada Secretary of State and the Corporate Charter was issued on December 7, 2011. Internal Revenue Status 501(c)(3) was granted on November 26, 2012.
