Disney's High School Musical on Stage! is the popular stage adaptation of the Disney Channel movie, following basketball star Troy Bolton and brainy new girl Gabriella Montez as they break cliques at East High to audition for the school musical, tackling themes of first love, identity, and teamwork with upbeat songs like "We're All in This Together" and "Breaking Free," becoming a favorite for school and community theater due to its large cast, positive message, and fun choreography. 

The Musical Theatre Class at Zachary High School is an auditioned class taught by Cierra Fountain and Heather Feierabend. Students audition by singing a musical theatre song and performing a monologue at the end of the school year. This is its first year that the class is a part of the ZHS Choir and Talented Theatre Department and we are happy to have them. The class focuses on developing the students to be exceptional in the Big Three - Singing, Dancing, and Acting. Through auditions, we are able to determine which students have two of the Big Three and how to build upon the third. We are thrilled to have the class this year!
