Seth Nelson (Henry David Thoreau)
Seth is a DFW-based actor, director, and educator. He earned his MFA in Acting from UNC Greensboro in 2022 and his BFA in Theatre (Directing) from SMU in 2016. His most recent stage role was as Algy in "The Importance of Being Earnest" at the Rotunda Theatre. Seth would like to thank his family for their constant support, and his parents for inspiring his love of theatre.
Jed Davis (Waldo)
Jed is excited to be performing for Young at Heart. He most recently appeared as Antipholus of Ephesus/Comedy of Errors (CORP) and as Ensemble/The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) (CORP) In 2025, he played as Brakenbrury/Richard III (Auriga/L.I.P. Service) and was in the Ensemble for Disaster!(Theatre Frisco). He would like to thank both his theatrical and biological families, and especially his husband, Chip, for all of their support.
Jen Moore (Lydian)
Originally from the frigid tundra of New York, Jen began performing at age eight and has spent most of her life onstage chasing chaos, comedy, and the occasional murder. Favorite roles include Mae (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Sylvia (Bur-Less-Q Nutcracker), Martha (Creatures of Impulse), and Gloria (You Never Can Tell), as well as her ongoing sleuthing with the murder-mystery company You now the Old Slaying since 2018. She is grateful to her husband and three sons, who courageously tolerate late-night rehearsals, unsolicited line readings, and who bravely endure a household forever sprinkled with glitter and bobby-pins.
Kailen Moore (Edward)
Kai began acting and modeling as a baby and has loved performing ever since. At 9, he recently made his runway debut at Dallas Fashion Week, showcasing his confidence and stage presence. He enjoys camping, gaming, and his cat Wink Bagel Jeffrey. He is excited to be part of this production, and wants to eat a huckleberry for real.

Allyn is a long-time Dallas actor, and is happy to be a part of this timely production. Allyn has also performed in a number of other area theaters, including Water Tower Theatre, Dallas Children's Theater, Uptown Players, Pocket Sandwich Theatre Pegasus Theatre, and The Classics Theatre Project. While her heart belongs to theater, Allyn also works in film, television, and voice-over productions. She is represented in Texas by Linda McAlister Talent.

Raden is absolutely thrilled to take part as John in this production of The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail. Some recent/favorite roles include Antagones in The Final Adventure of Hercules with the Pocket Sandwich Theatre, Paul in Barefoot in the Park with the Hopeful Theatre Project, and Orin in The Little Shop of Horrors with Artisan Center Theatre. He studied acting and directing at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and has been pursuing his career in theatre, film, and voice over in DFW since 2022.
Chris Wintle (Drunk/Farmer/Soldier)
Born and raised in Dallas, Chris makes his first appearance in a production at Stone Cottage Theater. Early stage experiences include high school musicals and being an extra in the TV show "Prison Break". Chris volunteers with a disability awareness program called "To Be Like Me" where he leads discussions regarding living with a disability. Chris thanks his family and Rob and Margaret Young for their support of his acting efforts. In his spare time, Chris likes playing video games, watching wrestling, and dining out with family and friends.

Previous credits include She in 4.48 Psychoses, Ms. Dilver, Belle, Martha, and Millie in Brookhaven's A Christmas Carol Puppet Show, Victoria in Women and Wallace, Fabian in Twelfth Night, Nadya Tolokonnikova in We Are Pussy Riot or Everything Is P.R., Lucinda in The Good Book, Ilse in Spring Awakening, and Dr. Armstrong in And Then There Were None with Brookhaven Theatre.
