Annie Jr. Cast

Lucy Myers (Annie)
Lucy is a 7th grader and is delighted to be a part of Woodland’s Annie. Past credits include The Little Mermaid (Ariel), Grease (Sandy), High School Musical (Ms. Darbus), Shrek (Dragon), High School Musical 2 (Sharpay), Matilda (Mrs. Wormwood), Seussical the Musical (Cat in the Hat), Aladdin (Ensemble), Cinderella (Stepmother), 101 Dalmatians (Ensemble). Lucy also enjoys performing vocally for Franklin Brentwood Arts Academy, playing piano and guitar, and is a WMS basketball cheerleader.
Corbin Conger (Oliver Warbucks)
Corbin is in 8th grade and this is his second musical and he's so happy he managed to land the role of Daddy Warbucks. Hobbies he has include video games, theatre, and baseball. He was previously in Night At The Wax Museum where he played Blackbeard, and the first musical he was ever in is called 13: The Musical where he was a part of the Brett trio.
Emilee Porter (Grace Farrell)
Emilee is in 7th grade and is very excited to be playing Grace Farrell! She was in the musicals Matilda (Nigel), Seussical (Mrs. Mayor), Annie (Boylan Sister), and many more! She loves to sing, do theater, and play volleyball. She would like to thank her mom and sisters for always helping, supporting, and being there for her when she needs it. She can't wait to perform in Annie Jr!
Emory Ashby (Miss Hannigan)
Emory is an 8th grader who is very excited to do her third show here at Woodland and sixth show overall! In the past shows at Woodland, she was in High School Musical Jr. (Cathy, Sharpay u/s) and Night in the Wax Museum (Emily). Emory is also on the softball and cheer team and loves to go to church. She would like to thank all her fellow cast and crew members, Miss Newman, her family and friends, and God for all the encouragement and help!
Caden Block (Rooster Hannigan)
Caden is in 7th grade and is super excited to be Rooster in this production of Annie! This is his 8th show and his 3rd at Woodland! You may have seen him in High School Musical or Night at the Wax Museum at Woodland. He would like to thank the amazing cast and crew for working so hard to put this show on! He would also like to thank Miss Newman for this opportunity! Enjoy the show!
Jamie Santini (Lily St. Regis)
Jamie is a 7th grader this year and is thrilled to be a part of Annie Jr. She has a passion for theatre and music. Some, but not all of her past credits include The Little Mermaid, Les Miserables, Grease, and Newsies. She would like to thank her friends Ellie, Caitlyn, and Peyton for their encouragement, her voice teacher for her help and feedback, and Ms. Bond and Miss Newman for giving their time and work for the show.
Roxy de Ledesma (Molly)
Roxy is a 6th grader and is so excited to participate in this awesome production! Some of her favorite roles include Marta in Sound of Music, Tiny Tim in a Christmas Carol the Musical, Jack in Into the Woods Jr, and Ms. Darbus in High School Musical Jr. She would like to dedicate this performance to her parents for helping her to push through her busy life.
Peyton Gilbert (Pepper)
Peyton is an 8th grader who is sooooo excited to be a part of this awesome show!!! Past shows include: The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Grease (Rizzo), Shrek the Musical (Donkey), Seussical (Jojo), and a couple more. She loves to sing and dance and do karaoke with her crazy family and is constantly in more and more shows. She would like to thank all her friends and family for their support, and hope they enjoy the show!!!!♥️
Emily Bennett (Tessie)
Emily Bennett is in 7th grade and is so excited to be a part of Annie. She was recently seen in Woodland’s Night At the Wax Museum. Other shows Emily has been in include Matilda, Seussical, Wizard of Oz, and High School Musical. Emily has a passion for singing and is currently writing a novel called The Secrets Beyond the Willow Tree. She would like to thank Officer Calfee for being the best Annie understudy understudy ever. She would also like to thank Ms. Bond for discovering her true vocal part (Sopranatone).
Eastyn Glover (July, Annie u/s)
Eastyn is in the 8th grade and was most recently seen in Woodland performances of High School Musical (Gabriella) and Night at the Wax Museum (Ivy Sweet). She is proud to represent Woodland in the 8th grade choir, along with the basketball cheer team. Eastyn would like to thank Miss Newman for giving her such an amazing opportunity, her best friends in Annie whom she prays with before every show, and her dad for being her inspiration and her hero!
Addy Richardson (Duffy)
Addy is in 7th grade and is ready to always put on a stellar performance in this year's spring musical of Annie Jr! She has been in Oliver, Elf, Joseph and Technicolor Dreamcoat, Beauty and The Beast, Jungle Book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Aladdin, Annie, and her Church's production, Called. This will be Addy's 10th show! She would like to thank Bravo Creative Arts her second family, Her Mom, Grandaddy, Nana, and Woodland. Addy in free time loves to sing and socialize with her best friends. Let's put this show on the road!
Avery Hardison (Kate)
Avery is a 6th grader and is so excited for her first WMS performance! Past plays include: Seussical (Who), Matilda (Little Kid), Shrek (Duloc Citizen), and Charlie Brown (Show Choir). She loves to read and play musical instruments. She is so thrilled to be in this show, and she is so grateful to Miss Newman, Ms. Bond, and Mr. Bice for working on Annie Jr. and helping us to grow through this show. Avery would like to thank her friends, family and God for their support through this entire process!
Gabby Altknecht (Usherette, Wacky, Ensemble)
Gabby is super excited to be performing in her first show with Woodland! She is a 6th grader and is looking forward to being able to dance, sing, and act with her classmates. Outside of school, Gabby is a part of CYT Nashville and has done 8 shows with the company. Some of her favorite roles include River City Band (Music Man), Little Kid (Matilda), Bird (Into the Woods), and Youth Ensemble (Anastasia). Gabby would like to thank the directors for putting together this awesome show and for their hard work and dedication to making their students the best they can be.
Ella Aston (Boylan Sister, Ensemble)
Ella is a 6th grader who is so excited to be able to participate in her second play. She has previously been in Alice in Wonderland (Alice), and cannot wait to perform with her peers. She has always loved singing and dancing, and would like to thank her friends and family for all of the support.
Max Ballew (Lt. Ward, Ensemble, Warbucks u/s)
Max "The Fluffinator" Ballew is an 8th grader and operated the microphones for High School Musical Jr. and Night at the Wax Museum. This is his first ever acting role in a production. He would like to recognize the hard work of the backstage and tech crews as he has firsthand experience and knows how important their roles are.
Georgie Bynum (Mrs. Pugh, Sound Effects Gal, Ensemble)
Georgie is a 6th grader and this is her first show at Woodland, as well as her first show ever! She is thrilled to be part of Annie, and excited for more shows to come. She wants to thank her parents, for pushing her to try out, as well as Miss Newman, for helping support her as well.
Michael Daley-Clark (Apple Seller, Ensemble)
Michael is in 8th grade and this is his first show at Woodland. He likes rock climbing, playing Phantom Forces, and watching ForgeLabs. He would like to thank everyone who's a part of the show for contributing their talents.
Jackson D'Aurelio (Drake, Ensemble, Rooster u/s)
Jackson is in 8th grade and is very excited to be cast in Annie Jr! He loves theater and meteorology. He was Ryan in High School Musical Jr, Victor in Night at the Wax Museum, and an Orphan in Annie Jr! (three years ago). He is very excited to be participating in this program!
Hailey Decker (Boylan Sister, Ensemble)
Hailey is a 7th grader at Woodland who is excited to be in Annie Jr. She was in the last spring musical, High School Musical (Martha Cox) and has been in other shows at other places such as, Elf (Jovie), The Little Mermaid (Ursula), Spongebob the Musical (Spongebob), Shrek the Musical (Donkey), Seussical (Jojo), and Matilda (Matilda). She would like to thank God, her parents, and Miss Newman.
Kavan Desai (FDR, Ensemble)
Kavan is an 8th grader and is excited to be in the musical and present himself to hundreds of audience members. He is a member of the Speech & Debate Club and Math Club. He also performed in High School Musical Jr. (Jason). He was also a crew member in the play Night at the Wax Museum. He has a passion for robotics. He loves to travel and try out new things.
Annabelle Dietrick (Orphan Ensemble)
Annabelle is a 7th grader at Woodland. Other shows she has been in at Woodland include: High School Musical (Jock) and Night at the Wax Museum (Lizzie Borden). Annabelle is in the band and choir, and also enjoys other after school activities like Battle of the Books. She would like to thank Miss Newman for being a great director.
London Gargano (Boylan Sister, Ensemble)
London is in 6th grade and is so thankful for her teachers Miss Newman and Ms. Bond for being the best teachers ever. They have helped London grow in her singing and acting making her stronger every day. Ms. Bond has taught London that if you work hard every day and do your best you can do anything. London has also learned a lot from Miss Newman because she has taught her how to express her emotions on a stage. London would also like to thank her family for being so supportive and helping her follow her passion.
Aarna Grover (Boylan Sister, Ensemble)
Aarna is a 6th grader and she is thrilled to be a part of Annie Jr. This is her very first play and she is so happy! She wants to thank Ms. Bond, her sister, and her parents for telling her to try out and to help her with her dances, singing and the monologue. She also wants to give a special thanks to Ms. Bond for helping her so much with the song and for believing in her. She is excited to perform in more plays at Woodland!
Ria Gupta (Dog Catcher, Ensemble)
Ria is an 8th grader. She was previously seen on the Woodland stage in Krazy Kamp (Gloria), High School Musical (Jock), and Night at the Wax Museum (Butch Cassidy). She also participates in band, rock climbing, and voice lessons. She would like to thank Miss Newman, Mr. Bice, and everyone who's helping make this show happen.
Libby Hooper (Orphan Ensemble)
Libby is a 7th grader at Woodland and this is her first show. She is a member of the Woodland basketball team, and also participates in cross country here at Woodland and is planning to participate in track. She would love to thank her family for being so supportive about her decision in participating in this play, especially her mom.
Audrey Huber (Orphan Ensemble)
Audrey is in the 8th grade and she is incredibly excited to be a part of Annie Jr. She has participated in 3 shows at Woodland: High School Musical Jr. (Ensemble) and Night at the Wax Museum (Carrie). Audrey has always had a knack for theater, and singing. Audrey has always had a huge heart. She would like to thank her parents for their faith and their support.
Lucas Kovach (Bundles, Ensemble)
Lucas is a 7th grader this year and is very excited to be part of this musical. He is a member of the Woodland Bowling Team. Past shows he has been in are High School Musical Jr. (Ensemble), Night At The Wax Museum (Jasper Sneed), Newsies Jr. (Ensemble). He likes to sing, act, and bowl. He would like to thank his parents for allowing him to be in the musical and taking the time out of their day to come pick him up.
Elise Lucas (Orphan Ensemble)
Elise is a 6th grader who has been in other plays at a different school. She loves singing and dancing in her free time. She would like to thank Miss Newman and her friends and family.
Justine O'Neal-LeCou (Orphan Ensemble)
Justine is in 7th grade and it is her first performance. She is thrilled to be on stage and alongside the other amazing and talented cast and crew. I love to travel and i would like to thank my parents for driving me to rehearsals and Miss Newman for directing us.
Leia Pittman (Star-to-Be, Ensemble, Hannigan u/s)
Leia is a 7th grader and has been performing ever since she was 7. Leia was recently in The Lighting Thief with the Stars to the East Theatre Company (also known as Star Bright), and can't wait to be on stage again. Leia enjoys hanging out with friends and watching movies.
Caitlyn Polk (Boylan Sister, Ensemble, Lily u/s)
Caitlyn Polk is in 7th grade and is so excited to be able to be part of this year's musical! She loves to act, sing, and perform in band! She has also been in High School Musical (Ensemble) last year's musical! She would like to thank her mom and her friends for supporting her. She would also like to thank Miss Newman for directing an amazing show!
Mary Katherine Savoie (Orphan Ensemble)
Mary Katherine is a 6th grader this year at Woodland. She has been in Willy Wonka Kids (Oompa Loompa Ensemble) and 101 Dalmatians (Narrator/Dalmatian Pup Ensemble) She takes part in orchestra as one of the double bass players and is on the dance team. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, karaoke, and hanging out with friends. She is so excited to be part of the musical and is thankful to Miss Newman for being an awesome director and her family.
Erickson Smith (Bert Healy, Ensemble)
Erickson is in 6th grade and is very excited for the show. He has a very big liking of the radio and internet and loves playing video games. He has a bunch of electronics that he plays all the time. He has a lot of siblings he loves very much and his parents too. He has been in band and choir and has been in performances before. He has gone to some pretty cool places. He was in Kenrose before he came to Woodland and is very fond of Woodland.
Nadia Tank (Cecille, Ensemble)
Nadia is a 7th grader who is extremely excited for her first performance at Woodland. She is looking forward to participating in this year's spring showcase. She has a passion for writing and reading as well as acting and singing. She has also had past singing and piano performances, acting shows, and dance recitals outside of Woodland. She wants to thank her parents for supporting her and to Miss Newman for the opportunity.
Hailey Watson (Annette, Boylan Sister, Ensemble)
Hailey is a 7th grader and this is her second performance, her first being Willy Wonka as an Oompa Loompa. She is elated to be in the musical and is looking forward to future performances. She enjoys theater, books, and choir. She would like to thank her parents and directors for this opportunity!
Annabella White (Mrs. Greer, Ensemble, Grace u/s)
Annabella is an 8th grader at Woodland Middle School who thoroughly enjoys acting. She also participated in Night at the Wax Museum (Violet). She also has a passion for swimming and has been a swimmer for 10 years. In her free time, she enjoys playing the guitar. We hope you can enjoy watching the show as much as we enjoy making it to perform for all of you.
Talha Zaidi (Louis Howe, Ensemble)
Talha is an 8th grader and is very excited to be a part of Annie. He was most recently in the Fall play titled Night at the Wax Museum. After being in one play, he had to come back for more! Talha loves theater, writing, and hanging out with his family and castmates. Talha would like to dedicate his performance to his sister, Warishah, because she supports him and is kind to everyone around her. He'd also like to appreciate and thank everyone who has been supporting him through theatre. Enjoy the show!
Bailey (Sandy)
Bailey is a six-year-old miniature golden doodle. After completing her education, she began volunteering as a therapy dog and enjoys visiting the students at Woodland as often as possible. Her performance in Annie will be her acting debut! In her spare time, she likes to snuggle with her humans and chew on her toys. Playing with tennis balls is one of her favorite activities.
