Legally Blonde: The Musical Creative

Senior Stage Manager
Bella ZolaBella Zola, a senior, is thrilled to be a part of this year's Spring Musical production of Legally Blonde as the stage manager. She has worked on previous productions such as Something Rotten!, A Chorus Line, and Back to the 80s. Bella is excited to work with her fellow cast and crewmates in her final show and is determined to make it memorable. She would like to thank her family, friends, cast, crew, and everybody who helps make these outstanding musicals happen for their support and the opportunity to be a part of such a special group!
Assistant Stage Manager
Allison CartmillAllison Cartmill, a sophomore, is absolutely thrilled to be in her second South Theatre production! Previously, she could be seen as the Assistant Stage Manager for Back To The 80's. For this production, she will be resuming her role as the Assistant Stage Manager. Allison would like to give a huge thank you to Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Wilson, Ms. Guzman, and Mr. Westawski, and all the amazing cast and crew members for their dedication and inspiration!

Director's Assistant
Sara QuddusSara Quddus, a junior, is excited to serve as the Director’s Assistant for this year’s production of Legally Blonde. She is grateful to be contributing to her third South Theatre performance, having previously worked as the Junior Director’s Assistant for A Chorus Line and Back to the 80’s. Sara is honored to collaborate with such a dedicated and talented cast and crew in bringing this production to life and would like to extend her gratitude to Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Westawski, and Ms. Guzman for their unwavering commitment and guidance throughout the rehearsal process. She would also like to thank all of the seniors for their lasting impact on the theatre program and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors!

Ana AlgeriAna Algeri, a freshman, is thrilled to be part of her 1st South Theater production as Junior Director's Assistant. She is excited to work with her fellow classmates and is determined to make the show amazing! Rishi SanbuiRishi Sanbui, a freshman, is delighted to be part of his first South Theatre Production! He is thankful to be part of the Student Production team and is excited to work with his fellow castmates. He would like to thank Ms. Guzman for giving him the role, as well as all of the crew and cast, for making this musical possible. Tvisha KharakwalTvisha Kharakwal, a freshman, is excited to be part of her second South Theatre production as a Student Producer for Legally Blonde! She previously worked on Finding Nemo JR at Grover Middle School as a member of the stage crew and served as Assistant Producer for South Theatre’s production of She Kills Monsters. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with Ms. Wilson, Ms. Guzman, and the dedicated cast and crew. She is excited to help bring the production to life and looks forward to making this a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Terrance LinTerrance Lin, a freshman, is a part of Student Production Team for this year’s South Theatre production. He can be seen in a previous production at Grover, involved in multiple backstage departments, from photography to set design. He is thankful for Ms. Guzman, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Westawski, as well as Mrs. Stoddard and others for making the musical the success that it is.

Harshal Reyaa VelatHarshal Reyaa Velat, a senior, is feeling bittersweet to take part in her last spring musical, Legally Blonde. She was previously a part of Something Rotten!, Romeo and Juliet, A Chorus Line, Harvey, Back to the '80s, and She Kills Monsters. She is grateful for her team and her friends backstage for making this experience a wonderful one!

Emma LeeEmma Lee, a junior, is excited to be Costume Head in her 2nd South Theatre production! Previously, she has been a part of the Costumes department for Back To The 80’s. Emma enjoys collaborating with others and helping bring characters to life through costume work. She would like to give a huge thank you to Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Miller, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Westawski, Mr. Novak, and all the amazing cast and crew members for their dedication and inspiration!

Lana ChettipallyLana Chettipally, a sophomore, is elated to work on her fourth South Theater production, Legally Blonde. She has been a member of the costume department for Harvey, Back to the 80's, and She Kills Monsters. She is thrilled to be a Co-Head for Legally Blonde and would like to give a special thanks to the rest of the Costumes department, cast, crew, as well as Mrs. Stoddard for making such a wonderful production come to life.

Carla JulianCarla Julian, a senior, is beyond excited to be working on her 7th South Theatre production this year as Co-head of Stagecrafts! For the Fall Drama, her work in Props can be seen in Romeo and Juliet, Harvey, and most recently as a Co-Head of Props in She Kills Monsters. For the Spring Musical, she enthusiastically worked in Stagecrafts for Something Rotten!, A Chorus Line, Back to the 80’s, and now, Legally Blonde. Carla loves working in Stagecrafts, a perfect combination of her passion for both art and theater. She is incredibly grateful for her years in South Theater working beside her best friends, Sophie Myat and Samaira Kalra, along with the other hard workers in A-Team! She gives a huge thanks to Mrs. Stoddard, Mr. Hawkins, and Mr. Afonso for making it all possible and ending with a bang!

Previously, she has enthusiastically worked with her team on productions such as Something Rotten!, A Chorus Line, and Back to the 80’s. She is captivated by the talent and dedication that go into every South Theatre production and is thrilled for the opportunity to express herself as an artist. She is incredibly grateful for the hard work and effort everyone puts into the show and would like to thank all of the A-Team, cast, family, and friends she has made along the way for the amazing opportunities to help create a wonderful and memorable final production

Anja BasedoAnja Basdeo, a senior, is delighted to be a part of her 4th and final South Theatre production as Head of Stagehands. Anja has been head of Stagehands for 4 years. She would like to give a huge thank you to the entire cast and all of the A-Team for their hard work, especially her hardworking Stagehands crew, as well as Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Wilson, Ms. Guzman, Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Afonso, Mr. West, and Mr. Moore. Previously, they worked on Props for last year’s musical Back to the 80s, costumes for A Chorus Line and Harvey, and, most recently, as Costume Co-Head in She Kills Monsters. Previously, she worked in Stagecrafts for both Harvey and Back to the 80s as well as Stagehands and makeup, and most recently, the head of Stagecrafts for She Kills Monsters. Cass is extremely thankful to her heads, Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Afonso, and Mrs. Stoddard, who worked hard to make this production great!

Olivia GonzalezOlivia Gonzalez, a senior, is bittersweet as she closes this chapter in her seventh and final Spring Musical at South. In her four years, she has been a member of Set Construction for The Curious Savage, Something Rotten!, A Chorus Line, Harvey, and She Kills Monsters – and joined the cast as part of the ensemble for Back to the 80’s. She is always ready to help wherever needed, taking pride in the passion and hard work that set construction requires. She is deeply thankful for the meaningful friendships and unforgettable memories she has built throughout her theater journey. She would like to express her sincere gratitude to Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Afonso, Mr. Westawski, and her incredible crew for their constant support, dedication, and kindness. Inara Anandasiri,Inara Anandasiri, a sophomore, can be found mostly on stage. She has taken on various roles since age 9, this year, she goes backstage, working on aspects the audience cannot see from their seats. With her love for theater and her creative ideas, Inara is able to combine the two and work backstage with the rest of her peers as well as on stage with her cast.

Previously, he can be seen as a member of Set Construction for She Kills Monsters. Alongside the Spring Musical, Yadiel also enjoys working on art projects such as animating or producing music in his spare time. Yadiel would also like to thank Mr. Afonso and Mr. Hawkins, as well as the rest of the cast and crew for pouring all their effort to help make this production possible.
