Pyper the Dog from Jayne Malone Productions (Bruiser Woods)Pyper has been an actress for 8 of her 9 years of life. She has played the part of Bruiser Woods in 16 different productions of Legally Blonde. She loves the role and loves meeting different cast members of the show even more!
Chase Glaser from Blue Star Productions (Rufus The Dog)Chase Glaser is a 10 year old Yorkie. He is excited to be doing his 11th Legally Blonde.
He has also done 2 Wizrd of Oz and 1 each, Unsinkable Molly Brown, Mary Poppins, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. He loves the attention he gets from Cast, Crew and Audience members!
Norah Martin (Elle Woods)Norah Martin, a senior, is beyond thrilled to be stepping into the role of Elle Woods! As a senior, this production marks the end of a chapter that has shaped her as both a performer and a person, and serves as her final show with South Theatre. You may have previously seen her in Back to the 80s as Tiffany Huston, A Chorus Line as Bebe Benzenheimer, and Something Rotten!. She couldn’t be more grateful for the unforgettable memories made both onstage and off. She has been a member of the choir program throughout her high school career, where she has shared her love for music and performing alongside others. She would like to thank the production staff for always pushing her to be the best she could be, her friends for always believing in her, and her mom and dad for their endless love and guidance, and for being her biggest cheerleaders. She hopes this show inspires everyone to believe in themselves, chase their dreams, and never underestimate the power of a little pink. And always remember... "There's still so much to learn; So many dreams to earn."
Emre Celik (Emmett Forrest)Emre Celik, a junior, plays Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde. He was previously seen in previous South's productions of She Kills Monsters, Back to the ‘80s, Harvey, A Chorus Line, and Romeo and Juliet. He would like to thank everyone in the cast and crew for being super supportive and putting in so much hard work, especially the A-Team, who make the show possible. He also thanks Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Westawski, Mr. Moore, Mr. Hawkins, and Mr. Afonso for everything they have done to create this wonderful show.
Anjali Cuevas (Paulette Buonufonte)Anjali Cuevas, a senior, is ecstatic to be playing Paulette in her senior year production of Legally Blonde. This is Anjali's fourth musical here at South, and she has participated in both the musicals at South and the spring acting clubs, One Acts, and Pirate Players. She enjoys participating in theater outside of school, singing, and playing the piano. Anjali would like to thank Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Wilson, and Mr. West for constantly helping her become a better performer. She would also like to thank all her friends and family for their endless support and her vocal coach, Mrs. Shippey, for all her help. She hopes everyone enjoys the show as much as she enjoyed performing it!
Anjali Gadam (Paulette Buonufonte)Anjali Gadam, a sophomore, is excited to play both Paulette and as a Delta Nu sister in her second Spring Musical. She can be seen in last year's production of Back to the 80's. Anjali is incredibly grateful for the A-Team, Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Guzman, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Westawski, and Mr. Novak for their dedication and support during the entire process. Her castmates have also helped her make amazing memories along the way, and she is thankful for this opportunity!
Gurneel Batra (Professor Callahan)Gurneel Batra, a senior, is thrilled to be a part of his third South Theatre production! Previously, he can be seen as Shylock in Something Rotten and Bobby in A Chorus Line. Outside of rehearsal, he enjoys creating vocal and guitar covers and exploring political economics within his local community. Gurneel is so grateful to have worked with such a talented cast and crew. He sends a huge thank you to Mrs. Stoddard, Mr. Westawski, Mrs. Wilson, and Ms. Guzman for their dedication towards making this production as amazing as possible. Finally, Gurneel would like to thank his family for their love, support, and for putting up with his late-night singing sessions.
Zayn Rezvi (Warner Huntington III)Zayn Rezvi is thrilled to be performing in his third musical at High School South! He has loved being part of the theater community both on stage and behind the scenes, and is incredibly grateful for the friendships and experiences it has given him. Zayn would like to thank the amazing cast, dedicated crew, and his director and producer for their hard work, guidance, and for making this opportunity possible. He is especially excited to take on the role of Warner in Legally Blonde and hopes you enjoy the show
Violet Prabhakar (Vivienne Kensington)Violet Prabhakar, a junior, is thrilled to be part of her third South production. Previously, she appeared as Laura Wilde in last year’s Back to the 80s, along with other performances. This year, she is especially excited to take on the role of Vivienne Kensington in Legally Blonde! Violet is incredibly grateful for the dedication and hard work of the cast and crew, as well as Mr. West, Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Guzman, and Mrs. Wilson, for making this show such an unforgettable experience. A huge thank you goes to her friends, family, and everyone in the audience for their constant support! Finally, she hopes that everyone enjoys watching the show as much as she enjoys being a part of it!
Emily Kim (Brooke Wyndham)Emily Kim, a senior, is beyond delighted to be leaping into her final role as Brooke Wyndham! She approaches this last musical production at High School South with equal parts excitement and bittersweetness. The past four years performing alongside this remarkable cast and crew have been nothing short of transformative, and she wouldn't be the person she is today without her previous roles as Cyndi Gibson in Back to the 80's, Kristine in A Chorus Line, and her part in Something Rotten!. She is deeply grateful to Mrs. Stoddard for challenging her to become a true performer and to Ms. Wilson for elevating her artistry as a dancer. She would also like to extend her heartfelt thanks to the crew, friends, and family who have championed her throughout this journey. She especially couldn't have done it without her family, who have spent countless nights listening to her belt and watching her dance in the living room. She's thrilled to take the stage and promises that by the end, you'll be Whipped into Shape—legally and physically!
Bahiyyih Vaccaro (Kate)Bahiyyih Vaccaro, a senior, is thrilled to be appearing as Kate in her first-ever South Theatre Production. She has always had a strong love for music and storytelling, and is delighted to see those two passions come together on the stage. Bahiyyih would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her fellow cast members for their constant encouragement, her family for their unending support, and the A-Team, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Westawski, Ms. Guzman, and Mrs. Stoddard for making this amazing production possible. Soor Sanghv (Kyle B. O'Boyle)Soor Sanghvi plays Kyle in Legally Blonde. He is a senior and is thrilled to be part of a musical for the first time. He has performed in previous school plays and enjoys taking on bold, high-energy roles onstage. Outside of theatre, Soor loves surfing, volleyball, and making music. He’d like to thank the directors, crew, and cast for making this such a fun and supportive first musical experience, and a big thank-you to his friends and family for always encouraging him.
Hannah Shue (Serena)Hannah Shue, a senior, is elated to be part of her fifth South Theatre production as Serena in Legally Blonde! Previously, she can be seen in The Curious Savage as Mrs. Paddy, Something Rotten!, Chorus Line as Diana Morales, and Back to the 80's as Debbie Fox. She is also the director and president of the Pirate Players club. She is so grateful to have worked with such a talented cast and crew these past 4 years and to have created amazing friendships. She would like to give a huge thank you to all her friends and family for their support, as well as Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Westawski, and Ms. Guzman, for all their dedication and support to her all through the years.
Isabelle Fanfan (Pilar)Isabelle Fanfan, a junior, is excited to make her debut as a cast member in this production, playing the role of Pilar. Although this is her first time on stage as a performer, she previously worked as a stage manager for two years before transferring to High School South. Isabelle is grateful for the opportunity to step into a new role and would like to thank the cast and crew for their support and encouragement throughout the process. She would also like to give a special shout-out to her dad, sister, and friends from afar who couldn’t be there, for their constant love and support. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Raavi Agrawal (Margot)Raavi Agrawal, a junior, is extremely excited to be a part of this production. She has previously appeared as Eileen Reagan in Back to the 80's and Maggie Winslow in A Chorus Line, and she is grateful for the opportunity to continue working with South Theatre. Through these productions, she has grown not only as a performer but also as a collaborator and storyteller. Raavi would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the directors, crew, cast, friends, and her family for their endless support, encouragement, and dedication throughout this entire process.
Sibianis Gonzalez (Enid Hoops)Sibianis Gonzalez, a sophomore, is thrilled to be a part of her second show at High School South, Legally Blonde. She was seen in last year’s production, Back to the 80’s! Sibi would like to thank the directors, all members of the A-Team, and her friends and family for their support and dedication. She is also incredibly thankful for her talented castmates, who have made this experience truly memorable as she continues her journey in South Theater!
Risako Ueda (Delta Nu Sister & Chutney Windham)Risako Ueda, a senior, is absolutely thrilled to be part of her fourth South Spring Musical as Chutney Windham and a Delta Nu sister. She was previously seen in Something Rotten! and as Connie Wong in A Chorus Line, as well as Kimberly Easton in Back to the 80’s. This production also gave Risako the amazing opportunity to serve as dance captain, where she loves to help and support the cast. She adores performing onstage with her friends and truly enjoys every moment of the rehearsal and creative process. Risako would like to extend a huge thank you to her family and friends, as well as Ms. Wilson, Mrs. Stoddard, and Mr. Westawski, for their constant support, guidance, and the incredible opportunities they have given her. She would also like to thank the entire cast and crew for bringing this show to life – and DUH, she can’t wait to feel so much better performing on stage!
Caden Co (Aaron Shultz)Caden Co, a junior, plays Aaron Schultz and is also a first timer in the theatre program. He saw the past South Theatre productions and was astonished by the amazing abilities of the cast, who encouraged him to join as well. He would like to thank Mrs. Stoddard, Mrs. Wilson, Ms. Guzman, and Mr. West, along with his family and the rest of the cast, for this opportunity.
Jaiden Justin (Sundeep Agrawal Padamadan)Jaiden Justin, a senior, is excited to play Sundeep Agrawal Padamadan in his second spring musical. He previously participated in Back to the 80s. He is thankful to Mrs. Stoddard and Ms. Wilson for the opportunity to participate in this show. As this is his last show, he wishes to make it memorable.
Shanaya Kalra (Store Manager / Ensemble/ Vivienne Understudy)Shanaya Kalra, a sophomore, is thrilled to be part of her 2nd South musical production! She was seen in the previous South spring musical, Back to the 80's. Shanaya is very excited to work with the rest of the cast and is thankful to all of the seniors, the A-team, Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Westowski, family friends, and the entire crew for their hard work and dedication.
Delta Nu (Lizzie Casey)
a junior, is thrilled to be part of the Delta Nu girls in Legally Blonde. She was previously in A Chorus Line during her freshman year, but took time off from last spring’s musical to focus on club volleyball. Lizzie is extremely grateful for everyone involved on and off the stage, including Mrs. Stoddard, Ms.Wilson, Mr. Westawski, Ms.Guzman, and all the pit musicians and lighting crew who help bring the show to life. She is also thankful for her friends and family, for their constant love and support, and her mom for driving her to rehearsal every day!
Francis Mun (Delta Nu)
Francis Mun, a sophomore, is excited to be a part of this South Theatre production as a member of the cast. This is her first South Theatre production, and she is grateful for the opportunity to be involved in such a collaborative and creative experience. She would like to give a huge thank you to Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Wilson, and all the amazing cast and crew members for their dedication and inspiration!
Anushka Maddali (Delta Nu)
Anushka Maddali, a junior, is thrilled to be in her third South Theatre production. She will be playing a Delta Nu and is beyond grateful for the opportunity given. She has recently been in Back to the 80's (Ensemble) and A Chorus Line (Ensemble). She would like to thank the cast and crew for all their effort and hard work, and she hopes you enjoy the show!
London Feliciano (Ensemble / Grandmaster Chad)
London Feliciano plays Grandmaster Chad and is also a part of the ensemble. He is a sophomore at High School South and has taken theatre classes for 3 years. He was a member of Pirate Players last year and was in A Wrinkle in Time during his 8th-grade year. He thanks the teachers for choosing him for this project, and everyone working on the show.
Aliza Jha (Ensemble)
Aliza Jha, a freshman, is thrilled to take part in her second South Theatre production! Previously, she could be seen as Kaliope in She Kills Monsters. Vihaan Samanta (Ensemble)
Vihaan Samanta, a freshman, is excited to perform in his second South Theatre appearance, having previously appeared in She Kills Monsters. He'll be appearing as an ensemble member, popping up on stage numerous times throughout the show. He thanks the cast, crew, production team, and teachers for making this a fun experience, and is ready to put on a show of a lifetime!
Gargi Kulkarni (Ensemble)
Gargi Kulkarni, a sophomore, is thrilled to be a part of the Spring Musical, Legally Blonde, this year. She can also be seen in past South Theatre productions like Back to the 80's. Gargi wants to thank Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Wilson, and Mr. Westawski for allowing her to be involved in a wonderful experience. Additionally, she also wants to thank all of the staff, her fellow cast members, the A-team, and her family and friends for their constant support and dedication till the end.
Catherine Zhu (Ensemble)
Catherine Zhu, a junior, is excited to be a member of the ensemble in this production. This is her second South Theatre production, and she is grateful for the opportunity to continue growing as a performer. Oliwia Shekar, a sophomore, is excited to be a part of her second theater performance at High School South, as she was recently a part of the cast for this school year's fall drama, She Kills Monsters. This is her first year ever doing the Spring Musical at South, and she is so excited to be a part of the ensemble. Sophie Shreyer (Ensemble)
Sophie Schreyer, a freshman, is so grateful to be part of the ensemble! It’s her first year being lucky enough to perform at South, but she was previously part of performances at local libraries, McCarter Theatre, and dance performances with “The Dance Corner.” She would like to give a huge thank you to Ms. Stoddard, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Westawski, and Ms. Guzman, as well as all the stage managers, the A-team, everyone else who made this production possible, and last but not least, the amazing cast! Annie White, a sophomore, is so excited to be a part of her second South Theater production as a member of the ensemble and as an understudy for Pilar. Previously, she could be seen in South’s production of Back To the 80’s! She is super excited to be a part of this year’s show, Legally Blonde. Jeremy Maletzky, a senior, is thrilled to be a part of his first South Musical Theatre production! From doing competitive gymnastics for fourteen years, he now spends the majority of his time pursuing his passion for social justice advocacy and the law. He is incredibly thankful for the support of his parents allowing him to fully commit to whatever he loves. He extends his deep gratitude to Mrs. Stoddard, Ms. Wilson, and Dr. West for taking a chance on him and their patience when directing, choreographing, and voice coaching. To his friends - the hilarious cast and crew - he says thank you for making him sad to leave school every night at 10:00pm and for making his first performance so incredibly special, memorable, and joyful.
