Sex Talk & Swearing: 4 short comedy plays by Matt Herman Cast

Erin Buvala-Benites (Large LG and Louise)
Erin Buvala-Benites is the Artistic Director of Virtual Theater Lab and the Director/Producer of tonight’s production. With 40+ years of performing and visual arts experience and certifications in Art Therapy Coaching, Erin blends her passion for the arts with her studies at Maharishi International University where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree with a focus on art therapy, and then it's on to a master's degree in art therapy. She is dedicated to fostering creative communities through both digital and live performances. Erin would like to thank her family, Andres, Raven, Onyx, and Ivy, for being so patient and tolerant of her rehearsal schedules and occasionally overworked brain. Much gratitude to the other 6 of the “powerhouse 7” for your time, talent, and dedication to this premiere production.
Mary Timpany (Teiresias, Right Hand)
Mary is a much-loved supporter of, and contributor to, Virtual Theater Lab, with a resume a mile long. Wit and comedic timing seem to come easy for her. She brings a delightful sense of humor to every performance, making her a favorite among audiences and colleagues alike.
Kristina Daniele (Kelly the Sock, Disclaimer)
Kristina Brooke Daniele is thrilled to return to the stage after years away from performing. A lifelong theater kid at heart, she began her performance journey in high school as the Tap Dancing Yellow Brick Road in "The Wizard of Oz" and the Judge in "A Few Good Men." She continued honing her craft at Minisink Camp, performing as an understudy (Zonia Loomis) in "Joe Turner's Come and Gone" and as "Lady in Blue" in "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf." As a playwright, Kristina Brooke has written three one-act plays and several monologues for performance. In 2021, Arizona Virtual Theater Lab brought her poetry collection "i wandered; lost" to life on the virtual stage, marking a full-circle moment in her artistic journey. Beyond the stage, Kristina-Brooke is a published author and educator dedicated to social justice and anti-racist education. Her bestselling book "Civil Rights Then & Now" reached #1 on Amazon's Modern History list, providing essential context for understanding America's ongoing struggle for racial justice. With a Master's degree in Teaching and over 18 years of educational experience, she has facilitated conversations with notable authors including Roxane Gay and Tressie McMillian-Cottom, and continues to create accessible learning experiences that challenge and expand worldviews. A neurodivergent artist, educator, and unapologetic dabbler, Kristina-Brooke believes that curiosity is a superpower and that sharing stories—whether through performance, teaching, or the written word—is how we build understanding and create change. She would like to thank her family and friends for their unwavering support, and the entire cast and crew for welcoming her back to where she belongs: on stage, telling stories that matter.

This is Talia's first project with VTL, but certainly not her first time on stage. She has a great deal of experience in television, film, stage, and voice acting. She also played opposite Erin Buvala-Benites as Heather, the wife to Liz, in a B3 Theatre production of Coming Out For Christmas.
