SpongeBob The Musical Cast

Andrew Goldblatt (French Narrator / Old Man Jenkins)
This show marks Andrew's second at Unlabeled. Previously he appeared as Franz in ROCK OF AGES. Andrew is an Edina High School graduate, and finished his second year of transition at Tassel in Eden Prairie. He participates in Project Search at Fairview Southdale Hospital. Andrew has always enjoyed acting, singing, and dancing. He was mentored by Nancy and Aaron at Gigi’s Playhouse where he had roles in ten productions over the years. He joined the novel Theatre For All program at Edina, a perfect place to continue growing by sharing roles such as the Scarecrow in THE WIZARD OF OZ, Olaf in FROZEN and Carlos in THE DESCENDANTS. He is honored and excited to once again perform with the community at Unlabeled Theatre Company.
Kris Paul (Shadow Partner to French Narrator / Old Man Jenkins)
Kris is excited to be making her theatrical debut with Unlabeled Theatre Company. Always a lover of musical theatre, but pursued sports instead. In her past, Kris was an orthopedic physical therapist for 20 years and is currently a pickleball pro at Life Time. She is also a founding mom and board member of GiGi’s Playhouse Twin Cities, an organization that has free programs and promotes awareness of individuals with Down syndrome. Kris is thrilled to now be a shadow partner with her son, Andrew Goldblatt.
Christopher Mohn (SpongeBob )
Creating the role of "SpongeBob" marks Chris's theatrical debut. His main hobby is gaming. He thanks his friend Jack for introducing him to Unlabeled and to his friends Jim and Mason for providing him with transportation. Chris has had a blast rehearsing with this fun cast and hopes you enjoy the show!
Ruby Crandell (Shadow Partner to SpongeBob)
Ruby is ecstatic to be in her first show with Unlabeled Theatre Company. She is currently a senior at the Performing Institute of Minnesota. Her previous works include THE THEORY OF RELATIVITY as Julie and FOOT FLIGHT BY NIGHT as Hattie at PiM. She decided to join Unlabeled Theatre Company because she admires the collaboration between all of the directors and the actors and the shadow partners; and because her mother bribes her with food to come to rehearsal.
Zach Williams (Patrick Star)
This is Zach's first show with Unlabeled. Previously, Zach performed in the Theatre For All program at Edina High School in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, as well as in THE WIZARD OF OZ and LION KING at his transitional program in Richfield. He has worked at AMC Movie Theatre for four years and loves the arts, working on film and editing projects with friends. Zach is thrilled to have found this opportunity at UTC and looks forward to performing for you!
Max Froehich (Shadow Partner to Patrick Star)
As a musician, Max has performed around the Twin Cities in many bands and musical projects. At Edina High School, he performed in several shows, his favorite being A CHORUS LINE in the role of Zach. Max will begin attending the Dunwoody College of Technology this Spring where he intends to pursue a degree in Applied Science. Previously with Unlabeled, he served on the tech crew as the Q-Lab operator for SHREK and as a shadow partner in ROCK OF AGES. He is honored to serve as Zach's shadow partner in SPONGEBOB.
Liam Donovan  (Squidward)
Liam Donovan is proud to join Unlabeled Theatre Company in his second show. Previously, he appeared in their production of SHREK and several of his high school's productions. Liam works at Walgreens, volunteers through Lifeworks and with his free time loves to watch movies and listen to music. He is enjoying being part of Unlabeled Theater and working with entire cast and artistic team.
Joey Deegan (Shadow Partner to Squidward)
Joey Deegan is very excited to be a part of his first show at Unlabeled Theater Company. He is thrilled to get an opportunity to be partnered up to play Squidward with the very talented Liam. He has previously done shadow partner work like this in a high school class that, at the time, was taught by the directors Jessica Froelich and Lisa Hanson. This will be Joey’s second time in SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL. The first time was through Normandale Community College, where he was in other shows such as THE LIGHTNING THIEF and HUMAN ERROR. He would like to thank everyone who comes to support him and this wonderful company.
Callie Johnson (Sandy Squirrel )
Callie Johnson was born with an AVM, which means she had too many blood vessels in her brain. Her parents were told she would only live 48 hours unless something could be done. Coils were inserted through her leg to break down the clot. This surgery saved her life. Callie has lived through three additional brain surgeries and eye surgeries. She attended Eden Prairie School where she participated in band as a trumpeter and served as a drum major in marching band. She also played on the adaptive floor hockey and softball teams. Callie works at Caribou Coffee as a barista and enjoys dance and horseback riding in her spare time. She is glad to be joining UTC for the first time and hopes to have more experiences with them in the future.
Natalie Mosakowski  (Shadow Partner to Sandy Squirrel )
Natalie is honored to be in her second show at UTC! A senior at Edina High School, Natalie spends the minimal free time she has both onstage and off, as a Spotlight Award-winning stage manager and an actor at Stages Theatre Company. She has been part of Edina Unified as a teacher's assistant and partner throughout high school and is inspired by Unlabeled's work to create a more unified world. She would love to thank Jessica and Lisa for always welcoming and supporting her. Break a leg to the amazing artists, especially Callie, whom she is so lucky to shadow!
Nick Jones (Mr. Krabs)
Nick is excited to be making his second production with Unlabeled Theater Company. Previously he appeared as Lonny in ROCK OF AGES. The opportunity presented itself after attending Unlabeled's inaugural production of SHREK. It was warm, funny and professional. Everyone had fun - cast and audience included. Nick works at Paint Sensations in Lakeville - labeling paint additive bottles. In his spare time, he volunteers on worthy candidate campaigns and is engaged as a delegate representing his political district. Nick is always looking for ways to make new friends and exchange ideas. This cast is a unique group of characters, and he's enjoyed getting to know them better.
Shanan Custer (Shadow Partner to Mr. Krabs)
Shanan is a theater maker, writer, director and improviser who has performed with many Twin Cities theaters including History Theatre, Interact, Frank Theater, Full Circle Theater Company, Special When Lit, Mu Performing Arts, Brave New Workshop, and HUGE Theater. You can catch Shanan monthly at the Bryant Lake Bowl and at Crooners with the Mysterious Old Radio Listening Society, as well as her new storytelling and song series called Songversations. This is Shanan’s second show with Unlabeled Theatre Company and she is so happy to work with this wonderful team! For Kate and Eric —thanks for being my family.
Mason Green (Sheldon J. Plankton)
Mason Green is pleased to be making his second appearane with Unlabeled Theatre Company. Previously he performed the role of Drew in ROCK OF AGES. He is a customer service associate at Walgreens. Mason has two associate’s degrees in Liberal Arts and Nanoscience Technology. In his spare time, he writes and records music, and enjoys competing in Special Olympics athletics events. Mason is thankful to his former support staff, Sheila, for recommending that he try out for Unlabeled Theatre.
Timothy Bethune (Shadow Partner to Sheldon J. Plankton / Sardine / Electric Skate)
Tim is grateful to be making his debut with Unlabeled Theatre serving as the shadow partner to Plankton. Currently a student at Edina High School, he serves as photographer for the student newspaper and participates in their theatre program. He has also appeared in Lundstrum Performing Arts production of ANYTHING GOES as Moonface Martin.
Rachel Espinosa (Karen Plankton)
This is Rachel’s third show with Unlabeled Theatre Company. She loves being part of the inclusive community of UTC and loves the wonderful cast and phenomenal directors. Rachel works for Finley’s Dog Treats and bakes amazing goodies for the family business. She enjoys attending Unlabeled classes during the day and working at their coffee shop. A few of her other favorite things include: movies, music, dogs, her nephew, baking with her Aunt Jodi and Saturday pizza nights.
Samatha Lundquist (Shadow Partner to Karen Plankton)
Sam Lundquist is excited to be in her first show with Unlabeled but has been in Theatre before. She appeared in a rendition of THE THREE MUSKETEERS as well participating in show choir. When she isn’t rehearsing with Unlabeled, she works as an administrator at Coordinated Business Systems. Being a part of Unlabeled has brought a sense of community and friendship and she can’t wait to see what’s next for her with Unlabeled Theatre Company.
Ella Stewart (Pearl Krabs)
Growing up in Petaluma, California, Ella Stewart was always ready to perform - even from an early age. She loved dancing and singing for others, and even wrote and performed her own solo song in kindergarten for her school's talent show. In 2010, when Ella was six years old, she was diagnosed with brain cancer and underwent several surgeries and treatments, which led to many physical and cognitive disabilities. Throughout the years, Ella began performing again in elementary school and taking theater classes in middle school. Since moving to Maple Grove, Minnesota, in 2018, Ella has attended summer programs through Drama Interaction, Front Porch Musical Theatre, and MNprov. Ella was honored to make her theatrical debut in 2024 with Unlabeled Theatre Company when she played Dragon and the Witch in their production of SHREK. She is excited for the opportunity to perform again with Unlabeled Theatre Company as Pearl in SPONGEBOB.
Alicia Madden (Shadow Partner to Pearl Krabs)
Aly is so proud to be working alongside her daughter Ella Stewart as her shadow partner. Aly is a stay at home mom, originally from Santa Rosa, California, who worked as a pharmacy technician for over twenty years. She now enjoys being home and spending time with her family and making new friends. Aly really loves and appreciates being a part of Unlabeled Theatre Company because it's so fun and everyone truly feels like family. Aly has a background in Tap, Jazz and Irish dance, but hasn't performed in over 25 years. She says it's been so fun to be on stage again and create something so special with her daughter. This is Aly's third production with Unlabeled. Previously she appeared as a shadow partner in SHREK and provided backstage support for ROCK OF AGES.
Jack Anderson (Perch Perkins / Sardine / Electric Skate)
Jack Anderson has always enjoyed the spotlight and this experience with Unlabeled Theatre Company has been a new, exciting challenge. Unlabeled Theatre has allowed him to meet new people and make new friends with the actors and directors. He is excited to appear in his second show at Unlabeled. Previously had his theatrical debut in the role of Donkey in UTC's inaugural production of SHREK.
James Anderson (Shadow Partner to Perch Perkins / Sardine / Electric Skate)
Jim Anderson is happy to be back making theatre with with Unlabeled Theatre Company. Previously he served as a shadow partner in their production of SHREK. He is currently working as a chiropractor at Health & Wellness Center Edina and has been taking care of patients for the last 22 years. He was introduced to the UTC when he asked his 23 year old son, Jack, if he wanted to audition. He obviously said yes and now Jim is amazed at the talent of these actors and the dedication that they bring to the show. He has enjoyed the fun community spirit created by the whole cast and directors, along with the collaborative efforts of these individuals to highlight each persons strengths.
Nicolas Kelley (Mayor)
Nicolas Kelley is excited to be making his musical theatrical debut with Unlabeled Theatre Company. Nicolas previously had a role (as an audience member, porter, and member of the sheep flock) in a South St. Paul Community Theater performance of 39 STEPS. Nicolas has assisted with multiple SSP productions as an usher and a member of the paint crew. Nicolas has been active in Scouts and multiple community organizations for many years, he attends Inver Hills Community College part-time and loves music. Nicolas is thrilled to be a member of the SPONGEBOB company.
Babette Kelley (Shadow Partner to Mayor)
Babette Kelley is excited and nervous to be making her theatrical debut with Unlabeled Theatre Company. Years back she worked with several professional theater companies in Connecticut, but never on stage; and she has not sung in public since the 6th grade. She has since worked with several production companies, mainly creating/managing presentation visuals for corporate shows. She would like to thank her husband for all his help and assistance, as she and Nicolas have been rehearsing for Sponge Bob. Babette is also thankful for the welcoming and understanding community she has found at Unlabeled Theater.
Andrew Olson (Sardine / Electric Skate)
Andrew is exstatic to return to the stage in his second production with Unlabeled Theater Company. He previously performed as Dennis Dupree in their production of ROCK OF AGES and in the Theatre For All program at Edina High School, where he held the roles of Lord Farquad in SHREK, Lumiere in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and Rafiki in THE LION KING. When not performing, Andrew works at the Bloomington Hilton as a lobby attendant, travels as much as possible and loves hanging out with his family and friends.
Kristin Moquist (Shadow Partner to Sardine / Electric Skate)
Kristin Moquist was overjoyed to have made her theatrical debut with Unlabeled Theatre Company in their production of SHREK. She is a pediatric advanced practice nurse at M Health Fairview, and is an advocate and supporter of individuals with sickle cell disease through the Sickle Cell Foundation of Minnesota. Kristin credits her daughters with paving her way into the amazing world of theater! She values the collaboration, genuine support and friendship from this amazing cast and director team. She is excited to serve as Andrew Olson's shadow partner in SPONGEBOB!
Rachel Moquist (Sardine / Electric Skate)
Rachel is so happy to be part of of her third production with Unlabeled. Previously, she appeared as Gingy in SHREK and as Regina in ROCK OF AGES. Before beginning at Unlabeled, Rachel performed in Edina High School’s Theatre For All productions as Mrs. Potts in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and as Donkey in SHREK. She was seen as an ensemble player in THE LITTLE MERMAID, THE WIZARD OF OZ, FROZEN, and MATILDA. Rachel also participated in technical / run crews for THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, MURDER CRIME, and SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, all at Edina High School. Rachel works as a culinary server at Friendship Village in Bloomington, MN. She is overjoyed that Unlabeled Theatre exists and can't wait for future shows!
Tovi Chao (Larry the Lobster)
Tovi Chao (he/him) is excited to make his debut with Unlabeled Theatre Company in THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL. He has participated in Edina High School’s Theater For All program where he performed in multiple shows including BEAUTY AND THE BEAST as Gaston. Tovi loves being part of the Unlabeled Theatre Company community and learning all the musical numbers. Outside of theater, Tovi enjoys working out at his local YMCA and attending programs and events at GiGi’s Playhouse.
Gracie Ludke (Larry the Lobster)
Graciela "Gracie" Ludke is happy to be partnering with Tovi as Larry the Lobster in her first production with Unlabeled. A recent graduate of Edina High School, Gracie discovered her artistic voice through the innovative Theater For All program, created by Ms. Hanson and Ms. Froehlich. Performing the title role in MOANA sparked a profound change in her confidence. Since then, she has become an inspiration to others, proving that special needs are no barrier to artistic excellence. Her evolution demonstrates the power of inclusive theater to transform lives, both on and off the stage.
Ugly Puppet (Plankton)
SPONGEBOB marks Ugly Puppet's first show with Unlabeled Theatre Company and his theatrical debut. He would like to thank the artists of UTC's Technical Theatre Arts class for bringing him to life, especially Rachel Moquist who created the original design concept. In the future, Ugly Puppet hopes to conquer the great acting roles of the puppet canon such as Audrey II.
