Mikki Gillette
Mikki Gillette is a trans woman playwright, whose work depicts the trans experience in all its juicy, dramatic richness. She's thrilled to be working with Transformation Theatre on They, Them, Their. Her play The Queers will be produced by Fuse Theatre Ensemble in March 2022. Her show Mimetic Desire is scheduled for production by the Pittsburgh Classic Players this fall. Mikki’s work has been produced or developed at Artists Rep Theatre, Crave Theatre, the OUTwright Theatre Festival, Profile Theatre and Post5 Theatre. Maria Cote Performing Artist, Director, Creative Producer. B.F.A from the Xaverian University of Bogotá, From 2019 to 2020 she collaborated with La Maldita Vanidad Teatro as a director and actress in Benditas Lecturas, In 2020 she was production assistant for Ramiro y sus Fantasmas in its adaptation for the Teatro Colón in Bogotá. in 2021 Dramaturg of the online reading of the Award-winning play "You Were Mine" by Rachel Lynett with Transformation Theatre. Currently, the producer of the social programs of the Teatro Mayor. She defends safe and fertile spaces where all the artistic experiences are welcomed on stage. Catalina Beltrán
Catalina Beltrán is a Colombian young theatre director and dramaturg. Her works have been shown in some of the most important theatre festivals in Bogotá. In 2019, her company COMBO - Compañía Bogotana de Teatro premiered the play El paso de la Libélula, about central american migration to the US. That play was selected to close the annual Alteratro, the Young Theatre festival of the city in that same year. During 2019 and 2020, she worked as an assistant director and dramaturg for the company LABodega Teatro, developing digital versions of their Commedia dell'Arte plays. In 2020, during the pandemic lockdown, she won an artistic grant to develop a podcast called BI. This podcast was based on Mike Bartlett’s Cock and discussed the visibility of bisexuality nowdays. Catalina completed her major in Performing Arts at Universidad Distrital in Bogotá, Colombia. Is currently enrolled in the MFA Theatre Directing program at Columbia University in New York City.
