Gabrielle Wagner Mann
Gabi is an NYC based playwright/screenwriter/performer with an MFA in Playwriting & Screenwriting from Point Park University and BA in Theatre from Smith College. Her plays and musicals have been produced all around the US. This summer, her new play CATCH 23 was produced as part of Chatham’s’ 29th Annual Jersey Voices. Her musical iWISH was published by New Musicals Inc. and also produced by NMI, UC Irvine, and Studio C Hollywood. The Theatre Project of NJ produced her short play Net Worth, as well as a ‘virtual pandemic’ workshop of POT ODDS. Other works have been produced at Brooklyn College, Luna Stage, Chatham Playhouse, Summit Playhouse, and the SheNYC Theatre Festival. Her musical, CITY OF LIGHT, was presented at Stephen Schwartz’ ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop, was a 2018 NAMT finalist and won Best Musical and Best Ensemble at the 2017 SheNYC Theatre Festival, directed by Tony winner Cady Huffman. CITY OF LIGHT also headlined at Feinstein’s 54Below and then was produced for the Micro Musical Theatre Show as a “radio play” (available on iTunes). Mailé Nguyen is the dramaturg for Pot Odds. They recently completed their MA in Comparative Literature at SOAS University of London and they are currently based in Chicago. They are thrilled to be working with Transformation Theatre Inc. to bring this play to life!

A. Lorraine Robinson is an award-winning Director and Dramaturg based in Washington, DC. Recent theatre projects include: Director for Let Me Down Easy and Baltimore, St. Mary’s College of MD; Director for You Were Mine for Transformation Theatre; Dramaturg for TopDog/Underdog (Avant Bard); Director for A Raisin in the Sun and The Piano Lesson (Sitar Arts Center) and Director for #Charlottesville and Apologies to Lorraine Hansberry, You Too August Wilson (Voices Festival Productions.) She received the Central Ohio Theatre Critics Circle Award: Best Director and Best Production for The Laramie Project (Contemporary American Theatre Company in Columbus, Ohio.) In 2017, 2018 and 2019 she received Tony Award: Excellence in Theatre Education Honorable Mention Awards for her work at Sitar Arts Center. She is currently Artistic Producing Partner for Voices Festival Productions and a Board Member and Associated Artist with Transformation Theatre Company.
