Director
Nancy L. Meyer
NANCY L. MEYER (Artistic Director) Nancy has over 20 years of experience performing professional and educational improvisational comedy with Laughing Matters (Atlanta) and Now This! (DC). A Master Wolf Trap Teaching Artist for the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, she continued that role in the MD/DC/VA area. Recent performances include Into the Woods (Jack’s Mother) and Sister Act (Mother Superior) at Curtain Call Theatre, and It’s Hell Out There (Alexa) and She Kills Dragons (Vera) for Croton Arts Academy. Locally, she has directed [title of show], I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Wilton Playshop) and Hound of the Baskervilles (The Lipstick Project). Nancy has sung in multiple presentations of Handel’s Messiah (including performing the alto solos in high school), so directing Joyful Noise for the Town Players of New Canaan has been a personal delight. Extra bonus: working with this gifted production team and outstanding cast of brilliant actors, including former GHS theatre students Mathew Young and Patrick Duffy.

Assistant Director
Amy Wade
AMY WADE (Dramaturg/Assistant Director) As dramaturg I had the fun job of researching the real history behind this very clever play! (My only qualification was curiosity; did they know that?) Many thanks to Nancy for letting me follow her process with this incredibly talented cast. Thanks to Martha for all the support a great stage manager gives a production. The result speaks for itself, so enjoy the show!

Producer (mostly hands off!)
Deborah Burke
As I took an on-stage role at another theater, I've been less involved as I should for this show.... but it's in such capable hands... I am rarely needed! That's what I live for!!! :)
