Eleanor Vance (Shelby Frye)
is new to the area, and this is her first show with Theatre Knoxville Downtown. While studying at Murray State University, she acted in many shows including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, La Mantis Religiosa, and Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. She also worked with Krider Performing Arts Center in Paris, TN, as a Youth Instructor and stage manager.
Mrs. Dudley (Graham Marema)
Graham Marema is an East Tennessee native who studied English at Davidson College. Her previous roles include Puck (Midsummer Night’s Dream), Kate Hardcastle (She Stoops to Conquer), and Elvira (Blythe Spirit). This is her second time depicting a spooky housekeeper on stage.
Dr Montague (Tristan Brown)
Tristan Brown is ecstatic about making his debut with TKD. This will be his first production since he attended StageDoor Manor Acting Camp eight years ago. Some of his credits that he is most proud of are his roles of Jack in Lord of the Flies and John in Dark of the Moon. Tristan is currently a Pre-K teacher that is working on his TEFL certification to teach English abroad. He would like to profusely thank his parents for the undying support, as well as Sarah and Dennis for allowing him this opportunity.
Theodora (Raine Palmer)
Raine Palmer is delighted to return to the Theatre Knoxville stage. Raine is an East Tennessee native and actor of voice, theatre, and film. Some of her recent theatre acting credits include Mary Hatch Bailey in Theatre Knoxville’s It’s a Wonderful Life Radio Play; Romeo in 70/30 Creatives’ Romeo and Juliet; Elizabeth Proctor in Foothill Community Players’ The Crucible; Viola in Tennessee Stage Company’s Twelfth Night; and Gretchen in Flying Anvil’s Boeing Boeing. Raine would like to thank her family, friends, and loving partner Caleb for their everlasting support.
Luke Sanderson (Josh Bigwood)
Josh Bigwood is very excited to be back on stage again. He was last seen as Chris in All My Sons at The Oak Ridge Playhouse. He is grateful to Sarah and Dennis for trusting him as Luke. He would like to thank the cast and crew for making this a great experience. He would also like to thank his family and friends for their support.
Arthur (Ryan Rotella)
Ryan Rotella (Arthur) is excited to perform in his first Theatre Knoxville Downtown production. He is a Knoxville native, Davidson College graduate (2017, B.A. in English), and maker of ryanrotella.com. He deeply appreciates the opportunity and respect of the directing team, the great humor and kindness of the cast and crew, and his friends and family for their constant support and steadfast love.
Mrs. Montague (Cameron Skillen)
Cameron is thrilled to be performing in her first production with Theater Knoxville Downtown! Though originally from Nashville, Tennessee, she has performed around the Knoxville area in the Clarence Brown Theater’s 2019 production of A Christmas Carol, as well as their virtually produced performance of Black Flag in 2020. As student at UTK, she is currently pursuing a double major in Religious Studies and Nonprofit Organization and Theatre. Cameron has been involved in all kinds of theater in one way or another for most of her life, and hopes to continue contributing to the Knoxville theatrical community in any way she can. She’d like to thank her friends and family for wholeheartedly supporting her in everything she does. She welcomes you to Hill House, and hopes you enjoy the show. Happy haunting!
