Bryan Breau (Actor 1: The Titan)
Bryan Breau (he/him) is beyond thrilled to be back on stage with The Plagiarists for their final production. You may have most recently seen him as Preacher in City Lit's production of Night of the Hunter, or Mr. Adams in The Great Khan at redtwist. As an Artistic Associate member of The Plagiarists, you last saw him in Poison, Some Like it Red, Circle House, and Gilgamesh. Other credits include Dead Man's Cell Phone (The Comrades), and Everything in Between (Dandelion Theatre). Originally an East Coast transplant, Bryan has been acting in Chicago since 2007. Bryan earned his BA in Theatre and English at Virginia Tech University. All my love and congratulations go out to the whole Plagiarist family. Some of my favorite moments on stage have been with these fine folks. What a ride!
Julia Stemper (Actor 2: The High Heel, Sarah)
Julia Stemper (she/her) is a happy company member with The Plagiarists, her first show with them being Matryoshka (2013). Additional credits with The Plagiarists include King Ubu (2013), these saints will burn (2015), belladonna luna sonata (2015), The Epic of Gilgamesh (2016), Ubu II (2017), Some Like It Red (2018), Season Pass: Deux Over (2019), Poison (2020), and I Build Giants (2022). A Chicago-based theater practitioner, she also serves as a teaching artist for Filament Theatre and FAME Center, and as the Artistic Director/Founder of Stone Soup Shakespeare, a yoga instructor with Wildlight Yoga, and an occasional substitute college theater professor in Wisconsin. Select non-Plagiarist acting credits include A Midsummer Night's Dream (Stone Soup Shakespeare), Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed (Lifeline), Pericles (Shakespeare Project of Chicago), Romeo and Juliet (First Folio), and Moon Rhymes (Filament) in Chicago. Outside of Chicago she has performed in Heuristics in the Diner (Tron Theatre & Hampstead Theatre), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Arches) (UK); New Visions/New Voices Festival (The Kennedy Center), Star Spangled Banner (Smithsonian Museum of American History), The Drunkard (Solas Nua), Romeo and Juliet (Company III.ii), The Emperor Jones (American Century Theater), and Alice in Wonderland (Classika) (DC area). Julia served as a guest artist at Hope College in Holland, MI in their 2016 production of The Tempest. She holds a Masters in Classical and Contemporary Text-Acting from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a BA from Macalester College.
Katie Bevil (Actor 3: Doctor Fiendish, Frankie, Heavy 2)
Katie Bevil (they/it) returns to The Plagiarists after understudying Baurenfeind in ‘Arabia, Arabia!’ this spring. You can also find them playing the role of Front of House Manager at TimeLine Theatre. Katie is an avid Dungeons and Dragons player, and lives in Uptown with its cryptozoological cats, Jelly and Toast.
Tess Galbiati  (Actor 4: Nurse, Dusty Scribbler, The Spiritual Advisor, Buddy)
Tess Galbiati (she/her) is a Chicago actor, musician and writer, and is thrilled to be in her second show with the Plagiarists! Favorite Credits include I and you (Wharton Performing Arts Center), Hamlet (Stone Soup), Indoor Cats (Red Theater), and Doctor Faustus (Mythfest). Tess holds a BA with concentrations in writing and performance from Arizona State University.
Stephen McClure (Actor 5: Doctor, Split Second, Heavy 1)
Stephen McClure (he/him) is a Chicago based artist and is honored to be joining the Plagiarists for their final production. Plagiarists appearances include Matthewson, The Epic of Gilgamesh; Captain Sweet Pea, Ubu II; Malush, Some Like it Red; Nips, Munsterspiel; Colonel Majors, Season Pass: Deux Over; Bass/band, Valhalla; and Von Haven, Arabia Aravia!. Other Chicago credits include Timms in The History Boys (Eclectic Full Contact Theatre) and Tate in the midwest premiere of finding grafenberg (trip.). He would like to thank and recognize both his experience and biologically acquired families for their continual love and support and to his fellow Plagiarists for being his artistic home. Special thanks to his dogs, Luna and Lavender, even though they can't read.
Joe Feliciano (Actor 6: Psychiatrist, Heavy 3)
Joe Feliciano (he/him) Joe Feliciano is over the moon, tickled pink, and dancing on cloud nine to be working with The Plagiarists again in this delicious fever dream of play! He first infiltrated the company as The Ark Builder in their production of The Epic of Gilgamesh, then as Bernie in Münsterspiel, and was last seen crashing their party as Sid in their production of Season Pass: Deux Over. Joe was last seen as Trebonius in Invictus Theatre's Julius Caesar. Prior credits include Vince in Eclipse Theatre’s Natural Affection, and Mr. Meddle in City Lit’s London Assurance. Joe has been acting in Chicago since the late 80’s and originated roles in two long running shows, Cannibal Cheerleaders on Crack, and Shannen Doherty Shoots a Porno: a Shockumentary, both at Torso Theatre. Some of his favorite roles include: The Ark Builder in The Epic of Gilgamesh, Bernie in Münsterspiel, Actor in The Woman in Black, Creon in The Antigone, Andrei in Three Sisters, Michael in Two Rooms, Polonius in Hamlet, Mike in A Boy and His Vagina, Nursie in Camino Real, and Ivan Dmitritch in Chekhov’s Ward 6. He would like to thank Susan Hart for every note she has ever given him, Jamie and Pro for their awesomeness, and his kittuhs. Joe would also like thank Jack Dugan Carpenter for every opportunity he has given him -- every show with Jack, and the great folks at The Plagiarists has been a gift. Andre Colin (Understudy, Actor 1: The Titan)
Andre Colin (he/him) is an actor, streamer, all around swell guy based out of Chicago. He is so excited to be a part of another Plagiarists’ production after understudying with them for Arabia Arabia! Other recent credits include understudying for Idle Muse’s Last Queen of Camelot and Oliver in Snails on a Bike’s Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons. He would like to thank his mom for making him watch the Christopher Reeves Superman movies Clockwork Orange style.
Theresa Liebhart (Understudy, Actor 2: The High Heel, Sarah)
Theresa Liebhart (she/her) is an actor and a musician. Recent credits include Lane Call and Last Night At Karaoke Town (Factory Theater), Indoor Cats and Vinegar Tom (Red Theater), and Tommy on Top (Pride Films and Plays). Other credits include work with Richmond Shakespeare Festival, Shattered Globe Theatre in their Protégé Program, Midsommer Flight, and Shakespeare All-Stars. Paul Kastner (Understudy, Actor 3: Doctor. Fiendish, Frankie, Heavy 2)
Paul Kastner (he/him) grew up in St. Louis, Missouri where they say things like, "take highway farty-far," and, "eat your carn with a fark." He has been laughed at by many people for the way he says things like "war" and "drawer." As a carpenter and stagehand, he has worked for Steppenwolf, Chicago Shakespeare, and dozens of other theaters in Chicago. He served as technical director of the Drury Lane Water Tower Theater, worked on Million Dollar Quartet for a (very) long time, and did a stint with the first national tour of Xanadu which is arguably the finest musical based on a film starring Olivia Newton John. As a Plagiarist, Paul has directed and co-written I am Saying this Right Now, Season Pass, and Season Pass: Deux Over, assistant directed Ubu II, written and performed in American Stage Sessions, and technical directed Promiscuous Stories, The Wreck of the Medusa, The Feast of Saint McGonagall, and belladonna luna sonata.
Katharine Jordan (Understudy, Actor 4: Nurse, Dusty Scribbler, The Spiritual Advisor, Buddy)
Katharine Jordan (she/her) is thrilled to be working with the Plagiarists again after understudying Jane in Münsterspiel. Recent credits include: Vinegar Tom (u/s Margery/Goody) with Red Theater, The White City: An Audible Exhibition on H.H. Bill Daniel (Understudy Actor 5: Doctor, Split Second, Heavy 1, Voice of The Narrator and Nihilistus)
Bill Daniel (he/him) is an actor/playwright from Chicago. He was fortunate to be in past Plagiarists shows Some Like It Red and The Epic of Gilgamesh. Other credits include What's All This, Then? and Holmes vs. Holmes (Edge Theatre), Cabaret (McHenry County Blackbox), Richard III (Wayward Productions), as well as a dozen Shakespeare plays with Unrehearsed Shakespeare.
Markley Bortz (Understudy, Actor 6: Psychiatrist, Heavy 3)
Markley Bortz (she/her) is an actor and playwright based out of Chicago. Markley is a recent graduate of Elon University, where she earned her BFA in acting and minored in theatrical design and technology. Recent professional credits include 'The Revolutionists' (Marie U/S) with Triad Stage and Immediate Theatre Project. Educational credits include 'The Cherry Orchard' (Lyubov), 'The Inferior Sex' (Vera), and 'Pheromone' (Olive). Markley's original play 'Remains' premiered at Elon University in November 2022.
