Getting Away With Murder Cast

Gregory Reed (Bill Barry)
Bill is thrilled to be (very suddenly:)) part of this production and to be working with such a talented cast and crew. His last two appearances on this stage were as Rosencrantz in Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead directed by Tom Kane and as Detective Jim McLeod in Detective Story, directed by Ed Healy. Other favorite roles include Lee in Jumbo Productions’ version of Sam Shepard's True West, Biff in The Heights Players production of Arthur Miller's Death Of A Salesman, directed by Ted Thompson and Chuck (Outstanding Actor nominee, 2020 Perry Awards) in the Studio Playhouse original production of Complete Game, written and directed by Mark Liebert . He would like to thank his beautiful wife for all her love and support. Bill is dedicating his performance to his acting teacher, mentor and friend, Arthur Reel. RIP Arthur. (feel better soon JM)
Nadi Valdez (Raquel Gomez)
Raquel is a native of El Paso,Texas. She graduated with a BFA in theatre from the University of Texas at El Paso. Six years ago she moved to New York to follow her dreams and to continue her training at The Barrow Group, HB Studios and Upright Citizens Brigade. She produced and acted in her first off-off-off Broadway show Pizza Man by Darlene Craviotto at The Producers Club. This is her first production at The Heights Players. She would like to thank Kerry and Corrine for the opportunity to play Nadi and the cast and crew for being so welcoming.
Dr. Conrad Bering (Hugh Heckman)
Hugh is happy to be part of The Heights Players reopening season. This is his sixth appearance with the Heights, most notably in A Man For All Seasons, Detective Story and Crazy For You. He also had the pleasure of directing a workshop production last year. Hugh studied at HB Studio, where he belonged to the HB Ensemble, directed by Amy Wright. He also acted with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. Much appreciation for Corrine and Kerry and the entire creative and technical staffs for this challenging production.
Dan Gerard/Fight Captain (Hassan Hope)
Hassan is an actor from Brooklyn, NY and of Caribbean descent. After his retirement from Mixed Martial Arts, he discovered his love for the stage and screen. He is proud to have a never-ending curiosity for acting and has expanded his knowledge base and skill by studying many actor training regimens available today. He was last seen as Flip in Our Lady Of 121st Street by Stephen Adly Guirgis and is excited to make his return as Dan in our current production. Other notable stage credits include Topdog/Underdog, Days Of Wine And Roses and Oedipus.
JR/Young Man (John Jackson)
Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, John Jackson moved to New York City in 2019 to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. He graduated in 2021 and has since been a part of student films, web series and now a stage production. John is so excited to be a part of The Heights Players and is looking forward to more projects.
Vassili Laimorgos (Josh Karen)
Josh is a Brooklyn based actor, and is incredibly excited to be making his debut at The Heights Players and for live theater to be back. He studied theater at Skidmore College, as well as with Shakespeare and Co. in Lenox, MA. Previous credits include Mr. Avila in Let the Right One In, Johnny in American Idiot, and Peter in Stop Kiss, and more. He’d like to thank his incredible cast mates for being great players and partners, Kerry for orchestrating and deftly guiding, Corrine for making sure our fun and chaos stayed productive and everything went smoothly, and the crew for making our Doctor’s office come to life. And of course, his family for their support and excitement as he pursues his passion, and his incredible fiancée Tiffany, for more reasons than he can list. He is excited to see, and hopefully participate in, more Heights Players productions in the future!
Dossie Lustig (Bridget McJohn)
Bridget is thrilled to be making her Heights Players and NYC debut in Getting Away with Murder. Originally from Chicago, she studied performance at the Music Institute of Chicago, and was most recently seen in Particular Risk and Eurydice at Bryn Mawr College. Special thanks to Kerry, Corrine, Jacob, and the entire cast and crew for all of their work to make this show possible, it’s been a joy returning to live theater with you all!
Charmaine (Morgan Montgomery)
A 2021 graduate of Boston College, Morgan recently moved to New York to begin a career in environmental and social consulting. Prior to joining the GAWM cast, Morgan played the lead character, Jolene, in Boston College’s adaptation of Charly Evon Simpson’s The History of Colors in March 2021.
Roberto (Georgie Raiola)
Georgie is super excited to return to the stage of The Heights Players for his 9th production with the company. His credits include Anything Goes (as Walter), Gala 2017: Down Memory Lane (as Song/Skit Performer), Seussical (as Ensemble), George M! (as Walt/EddieFoy/Ensemble), Oliver (as Bill Sikes), Crazy For You (as Billy), Gypsy (as Yonkers), and Clear Blue Sky (as Glenn Canfield). He would like to thank Kerry, Jacob, and Corrine for giving him the opportunity to be a part of this play. He would like to thank his friends and family members for all of the support throughout his life.
Martin Chisolm (Kevin Rose)
Born in Harlem, Kevin received his theater degree from Hunter College and furthered his training at TK Studios, T. Schreiber, The Barrow Group, Stella Adler, etc. He has appeared on stage in A Raisin In The Sun, Our Lady Of 121st St, Henry V, Henry VI pt. 1, Hamlet, etc. and on television in Ray Donovan, Jessica Jones, CBS' Bull, Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens, etc. Kevin is thrilled to once again participate in a Heights Players production with this incredible crew and exciting cast.
Pamela Prideaux (Elana Sidorina)
Elana is very happy to be making a return to live theater in this production. She has previously appeared in The Heights Players productions of Detective Story and Big Women. Elana holds a BA in Theater from Hunter College. She also performs throughout New York City and the Tri-State area as a dancer and singer. Elana is very proud of this production of Getting Away With Murder and wishes you enjoy the show.
