Night Train to Bolina Cast

Eric Xavier Diaz is a Puerto Rican actor, composer, and writer studying Theater and Music at City College. His previous roles at City College include Roy in ‘Bat Boy’, Gilberto in ‘Jugo De Limon’, and Thurio in ‘Two Gentlemen of Verona’. He hopes to go on to study vocal performance, as well as act and write for theater.

Karina Verna (She/Her) is an actor, writer and director born and raised in New York City. She is a graduate of the American Musical Dramatic Academy and is excited to be continuing her education at City College as philosophy major and theater minor. While studying and working full time as the assistant director for a nonprofit, Karina has dedicated her free time to theatrical storytelling. Highlights from her acting resume include Catherine in A View from the Bridge and Dora in Dinner at Eight. Her directing credits include Rising and Gliding Out for the Open Hydrant Short Play Festival and My Body, My Health, My Choice, which was her full-length directorial debut for New York Theater Festival. Karina would like to extend her gratitude to her family and friends for their unending support on her journey.

Anna Garcia is a first-year student majoring in psychology and has always loved the stage! Her love for the arts and performing started at a very young age and has been growing ever since. Recently, you may have seen her in this past fall’s production of “Two Gentlemen of Verona: The Musical” as the Milkmaid. Some of her other roles include Mimi Marquez in “RENT”, Jasmine in the Long Island premiere of “Pipeline,” Mona Livingston in “Kill Me, Deadly,” Mary Warren in “The Crucible,” and many more. This is Anna’s second production here at City College and she couldn’t be more excited to work with such an amazing cast and crew!

Jewels Galindo is a young black actor from East Harlem. His desire is to perfect his craft as an artist and learn the in's and out's of the industry. He was previously a teaching artist for kids in Harlem and Brooklyn. He’s truly passionate about film and directing. Hopefully you will see him do more projects in the future.
