Music DirectorEvan Wang
Evan is a classically trained pianist, violinist, and singer with a love for musical theatre. He is thrilled to bring the eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts to life in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and he is also excited to serve in the role of music director for the first time. He was previously a piano accompanist for The Cat's first show, You Never Know, as well as Lurch in The Addams Family. Evan works as a data engineer for a data analytics consulting firm called Nousot, and he lives with his wife Meghan and dog Bailey in downtown Indianapolis. He would like to thank his fellow cast members, directors, and crew for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for putting their heart and soul into the show, as well as friends and family for their continued support.

She attended Virginia Commonwealth University on scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography. Ashley has had the opportunity to perform with many professional ballet and modern dance companies. For the past 20 years, she has taught ballet, pointe, modern, tap and jazz all over the country. She has choreographed three full length ballets, several youth musical productions including "Junie B Jones" with CYT Indy, "Jungle Book Jr." with SCAPA and numerous other pieces over the years. Ashley is a mother of five and the Owner and Artistic Director of The Ballet Studio of Carmel, located in The Carmel Arts and Design District. She and her husband love raising their kids in Indiana and being part of the thriving arts scene in the Indy area. Beth Glynn (Artistic Director and Co-Producer). Beth is so excited to have recently become the artistic director at Carmel Apprentice Theatre and to be a first-time co-producer of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. She has been very involved in community theatre, especially at the Carmel Apprentice Theatre, as a volunteer and proud mother of an actress. She would like to think Will and Audrey for this awesome adventure.
Audrey Larkin has been involved in theatre in one way or another her whole life. She is a graduate from Baldwin Wallace University’s Theater Program in Cleveland, Ohio where she specialized in dramaturgy, directing, and acting. She's been involved in the Carmel Apprentice Theatre almost since it started, when she came in to cover the part of Lucy in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown and she hasn't left. When she’s not at The Cat or at rehearsal you can usually find her scribbling in a notebook, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, or reading a book.
stage managerAmanda Lund
Amanda is an avid musical theater fan and is getting back to her passion of being behind the scenes by stage managing this production. She's regularly the Community Outreach Coordinator for a local music therapy nonprofit, Resounding Joy, mom to 3 amazing kiddos, and is very excited for the opportunity to be back stage once again! Thank you to Will and Audrey for taking this chance and to all the friends and family that encouraged this step! Enjoy the show!!
Christy Denault accidentally became a costumer thanks to her theater kid. What she lacks in sewing skills, she makes up for in imagination! Past shows include Hello Dolly, The Little Mermaid, and The Wizard of Oz. She has also costumed her daughter in Anne of Green Gables and Macbeth. When she's not working backstage in community theater, Christy runs her own communications consulting company and she and her husband try their best to keep up with their four high schoolers and two dogs.

Assistant Music DirectorJake Williams
This is Jake’s 4th time directing music. He previously worked on last year’s The Addams Family as Fester, The Carmel Apprentice Theater’s production of The Little Mermaid and Disney’s Descendents, as well as Reciprocal Productions’ production of Little Shop of Horrors earlier this year, where he also performed as the puppeteer for Audrey 2. It was an honor to be invited back to the Carmel Apprentice Theater to work on another great and fun show. The cast was fantastic to work with and they put together a fantastic show. Thank you so much for coming out and supporting the local arts!
