Beehive: The 60's Musical Cast

Maggie Stahl (Wanda)
Maggie Stahl (Wanda) is making her first appearance at Brecksville Theatre after 24 years of performing throughout the Cleveland area! You may have seen her at Cassidy Theatre, Beck Center, Near West Theatre, True North Performing Arts, MGP, Tri-C, Talespinner Children's Theatre, and others. Favorite roles include Father in Children of Eden, Hope Cladwell in Urinetown, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Eva Peron in Evita, and Mother in Ragtime. I'm proud to be in this production that honors the great women of rock and roll. And I'm happy to be a part of a show that meant so much to my first director, mentor, and long time friend, Kevin Kelly, and I dedicate my performance to him. Thank you, Sarah and all the funky ladies of Beehive. Much love to Rick and all my babies.
Christine May (Laura)
Christine May is an actress and vocalist who has been performing in the Cleveland area for over fifteen years. She is especially thrilled to finally appear in Beehive after a previous production was waylaid in March 2020. Some favorite recent credits include ELF (Ensemble/Charlotte Dennon) at Beck Center, MAMMA MIA (Lisa) at the Cassidy Theater, and JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAM COAT (Simeon) with Mighty Goliath Productions. Laurie Gartman (Alison)
Laurie Gartman is honored to share the stage with five of Cleveland’s most outstanding performers. She is genuinely starstruck by the talent in and around this production of Beehive. Typically working behind the scenes on costumes (Crazy for You, Rudolph 2022, The Sound of Music 2021, A Streetcar Named Desire, Ivy & Bean 2019), Laurie just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be a part of this cast or crew so she decided to do both! She wants to thank to the Brecksville Theatre for allowing her to pursue two of her passions at once, and is ever grateful to her husband and sons for their love, support, and patience as she tackled this ambitious and meaningful endeavor.
Blessing Gee (Jasmine)
Blessing is so ecstatic to be doing their second show at the Brecksville theater. She was previously seen in Escape To Margaritaville as Marley. Blessing is currently finishing their first year at Cleveland State University where they’re studying Pre-Dentistry. Some of her favorite things to do when she’s not on stage is going thrifting with their best friend, Sophie, going to Edgewater Beach, shopping for records, and going to Target. She would like to thank her bestest friends, family, Her mom, this cast, and Meredith(our stage manager)for all the love and support during this process. To Sarah Lynn Bailey, our director, thank you so very much for making this show happen and making this show process everything I could ask and more! You’re the Best! And thank you to all of you reading this! Enjoy the show and don’t forget to Make Your Own Kind Of Music!!!!
