Brokken Family Cast

Suzanne Eastlund (Missy Brokken)
Suzanne is very excited to be returning to the role of Misty Brokken in this production of Brokken Family. Suzanne is a member of That Theatre Company's Board as it's current Treasurer and appeared in all of That Theatre Company's Inaugural 2019 Season productions. She is truly grateful to be able to be performing once again and can not wait for all the amazing things yet to come for this amazing Company!
Samantha Ryan (Tasha Brokken)
Sam is very excited to be doing Brokken Family once again and reprising the role of Tasha. Sam is also very excited to be a part the That Theatre team. She is currently serving as board president and her next project will be stage managing Our Kid’s Birthday. Sam holds a BA in Theatre Arts from St. Mary’s University and has performed/directed throughout SE Minnesota and as far away as the UK. Sam thanks you for supporting local theatre and hopes you will tell all your friends to do the same!
Kayley Dahle (Viv Brokken-LaRue)
Kayley Dahle is thrilled to be playing Viv Brokken-LaRue with That Theatre Company. She has been performing on stage for 20 years. Recently, she appeared as Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone, Villian in Almost, Maine, and Brenda Strong in Catch Me If You Can at the Civic. She received her BA in Journalism and Mass Communications with a Theatre minor from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. She would like to thank her husband Brett and their son Theodore for their love and support.
David Derby (Aubrey Brokken-LaRue)
David is thrilled to be performing in his first That Theater Company production. He has acted with Blake in Greater Tuna and Sam in Wait Until Dark both at the Mantorville Theater Company. He was also with Grant in A Christmas Carol at the Rochester Civic. This is his first time performing with Kayley. David is also the Vice President of the Rochester Repertory Theatre Company He has two grown children and lives in Rochester with his wife Kelly and their dog Toby.
Grant Dubbels (Chonus)
Grant Dubbels is a long-time participant in community theater, working in plays such as Almost, Maine, Come Back, Jeff on the Shelf, and occasional improv performances. He continues his career in the arts with Brokken Family. A graduate of UW River Falls in 2009, Grant pursues a career at Mayo Clinic in Urology Research. In the off-hours, Grant’s passions include writing, drawing, and bodybuilding. He continues to chisel away at the sequel to his debut fantasy novel Diadem Dust: The Old War, which was published in 2018. His less productive interests include video games, horror movies, fast food and sampling every kind of beer on the planet.
