With more than 30 years of existence as a theater group, since 2019 Teatro de las Américas is a community theater space dedicated to dramatic art that presents productions in Spanish, bilingual, Spanglish and English where courses and workshops are also given for people of all ages.

Located in downtown Oxnard, CA, we are the only theater of its kind between Los Angeles and San Francisco. The productions of Teatro de las Américas include works of contemporary Latin American drama, but also universal and local authors. Teatro de las Américas welcomes professional actors and people who want to explore performing on stage for the first time.
