They have also been filming/editing short films for 5 years and has recently started directing shows. She will be attending AMDA College of the Preforming Arts this year in New York to study musical theatre and content creation.

Mason Anthony Ortiz
Mason Anthony Ortiz is an ATAC award-winning performer recently seen as Cricket/Aquili in The Hero Twins: Blood Race at The Magik Theater. Mason specializes in fight choreography, stunt performance, and physical comedy with his extensive movement and competitive combat background. After graduating from TAMUCC, Mason moved to Austin to work on Feature Films as a stunt coordinator and choreographer. In post-COVID, he has returned to his theater roots to continue the pursuit of his passion and growth in the arts and Latin Art Culture

The larger than life, plus size diva is the go-to for seamstresses in South Texas. She has transformed bodies with her garments that have been featured on tv shows such as "Queen of the Universe" and "American Idol." With an old school eye for detail and a new school vibe, she boasts a unique drag color that comes with the guarantee of unparalleled entertainment.

Jillian Campos
Jillian attended Texas State University and received her BFA in Theatre with a teaching certification. She is a passionate performer/technician who loves to share her passions with the youth of San Antonio. She is the head director at Scobee Middle School in SWISD in San Antonio, Texas. Her previous designer credits include Bad Hombres Good Wives (Costume Designer), where Jillian has received the Excellence in Costume Design award from the Alamo Theatre Arts Council. She would like to thank her family for all their support and her students, who remind her daily to continue growing and learning to be the best she can be!

Stephen Gamez
Stephen Gamez is a SAC Theatre alumni and graduate of Texas A&M Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) and holds a Bachelor’s in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Acting/ Directing. Since then, he has served as a light-board operator for Mariachi Girl, props master on The Mesquite Tree, Leo/ Pepito in Bad Hombres/ Good Wives, sound board operator for The Panza Monologues, and assistant costume/sound for Luchadora! He would like to thank his friends, family, and God for all their love and support.

Larry Martinez
Larry Martinez Jr. is a 23-year-old theatre artist born in San Antonio, Texas. After spending 4 years in Corpus Christi, Texas, pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree at Texas A&M University, he is back in his hometown and excited to collaborate with artists in the city. He has lighting-designed shows with Teatro Audaz most recent season and is excited to return with this new season. He also works with multiple country/rock artists in various venues around Texas. He completed his first year as Jefferson High School’s Tech Director and teacher. Larry has three sisters and one brother, and he hopes to inspire them to chase their dreams and passion through his work.

Max Estudillo
Max is a theatre artist in the Central Texas area that is so proud to be a part of this production. He is a Terry Scholar graduate from Texas State (Theatre Education, BFA) and College of the Mainland (Theatre, AA). His past technical/design credits include Midsummer Night’s Dream (SAC), and Teatro Audaz’ Luchadora!, Pastorela Audaz, Panza Monologues, and Bad Hombres, Good Wives. He is also VFW Post #9186’s Teacher of the Year 2023 and San Antonio Magazine’s Thank-A-Teacher of 2022. Max also goes by “Mr. E” when he works and teaches his excellent students at Young Women’s Leadership Academy and SAISD. Madissyn Zapata
Madissyn Zapata is delighted to return to Teatro Audaz for a second season as the Resident Stage Manager, with “The Ghosts of Lote Bravo” as her 7th production. Born in Houston and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Madissyn has always been involved with the Fine Arts, continuing well into high school with Taft Theatre. Graduated from Communications Arts High School in 2021 and is currently enrolled in Northwest Vista College. She joined the Teatro Family with their musical production of “Mariachi Girl” in the spring of 2022. Madissyn would like to thank Teatro Audaz for the opportunity to aid in telling this story and her friends and family for their patience and for supporting her in her artistic endeavors.

Axa Soria
Axa Soria has been blessed with the opportunity to be the Production Manager for The Ghosts of Lote Bravo. Axa was born in Mexico and raised here in San Antonio, keeping her close to her heritage and roots. She is currently attending UTSA and pursuing a degree in Spanish with a focus on Interpretation and Translation Studies. Axa began her tech career at the Taft Theater department in high school at the magnet school Communications Arts. She was able to be Assistant Director and Stage Manager for various shows while in High School. The Ghosts of Lote Bravo is Axa’s sixth show at Teatro Audaz, her first five being Mariachi Girl, The Mesquite Tree, Bad Hombres Good Wives, and La Pastorela Audaz and Luchadora! She is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue working with them, the people, and the directors. Special thanks to the Soria family for always supporting her and her passion!

Celeste Lozano
Celeste Lozano is a San Antonio based theatre artist and Technical Theatre Director/Teacher at an SAISD High School. She made her Directing debut last season at Teatro Audaz with The Mesquite Tree And is extremely excited to be returning. She has also worked in San Antonio on set for various projects with Screenville Productions.

Charles Falcon
Charles Falcon, the Director, is an active member of the Texas Educational Theatre Association and the Texas Adjudicator’s Association and was honored to be named Educator of the Year, Community College Division, in January of 2005. Mr. Falcon taught in the Department of Theatre and Speech Communication at San Antonio College for 38 years and retired in June of 2022. He earned his undergraduate degree at Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, and his Master of Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Charles has directed extensively for the past 40 years. His productions have earned both ATAC and Globe Awards. He is also a Theatre Adjudicator for the University Interscholastic League One Act Play contest, where he has judged every level, including the state contest in 2006, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2018, 2019, and 2022. He is a past recipient of the NISOD Excellence in Teaching Award (1999 & 2001) and participated in the Oxford University Round Table at Oxford University in the summer of 2007. In 2011 he was selected as a finalist for the Minnie Piper Stevens, "Piper Professor." In 2013 he was honored to receive the Constance Allen Heritage for Lifetime Learning “Yellow Rose of Texas” award and was named the Robert E. Ziegler ‘Inspirational Professor’ in the spring of 2015. In November 2017, Charles was honored to be appointed Lead Judge for the State Contest of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools. This is his first show with Teatro Audaz, and he looks forward to many more.

Executive Artistic Director
Laura T Garza
Laura is the new Theatre Coordinator and Director at SAC and the Executive Artistic Director of Teatro Audaz San Antonio, and she is honored to be a resident at The Public Theater and for the opportunity to showcase this production in The Cellar Theater. Laura has an AA in Drama (San Antonio College), a BA in Theatre Arts (the University of Incarnate Word), and an MFA in Directing (Texas State University), and she has also trained abroad with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Before returning to SAC, she worked as a Theatre educator/director for the past 9 years, most recently as part of the 2021 6A UIL OAP State Champion Taft High School Theatre team. Laura has won 3 ATAC awards for her acting and directing work. Other honors include; The Kennedy Center Washington D.C. - 2010 KCACTF Merit Award for directing and sound design and the 2011 KCACTF Directing Award and National Finalist.
