Danelle Gonzales (Raquel Cantu)
Danell is a second-year drama major at San Antonio College. Performing has always been a big part of Danell’s life! From singing in choir performances to acting in musicals/shows such as Jeff Whitty’s “Bring it on the Musical'' and Jim Leonard’s “Anatomy of a Gray”. Danell wishes to further her career in acting and hopes to open her own local theatre someday.
Kathleen O'Neal (Juanda Cantu)
Kathleen O'Neal is a native Texan who lived in NYC for over a decade, earning her MFA in Acting from The Actors Studio Drama School and meeting and collaborating with some of her favorite people on original works, Shakespeare, and almost everything. She has performed at Edinburgh Festival Fringe and New York Fringe, worked with LAByrinth Theater Company, is a member of Actors Theater of NYC, and is excited to be back for her second show with Teatro Audaz!
Cindy Rodriguez-Martinez (La Santa Muerte)
Cindy is grateful to Teatro Audaz for allowing her to return to the stage after retiring from teaching in 2021. She is an alumnus of San Antonio College, the University of Incarnate Word, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. Active with the Extended Run Players from UIW, and Tony Plana’s Seniors in Play, on stage with Teatro Audaz, is her happiest place.
Larry Martinez (El Reloj)
Larry Martinez Jr. is a 23-year-old theatre artist born in San Antonio, Texas. After spending 4 years in Corpus Christi, Texas, pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree at Texas A&M University, he is back in his hometown and excited to collaborate with artists in the city. He has lighting-designed shows with Teatro Audaz most recent season and is excited to return with this new season. He also works with multiple country/rock artists in various venues around Texas. He completed his first year as Jefferson High School’s Tech Director and teacher. Larry has three sisters and one brother, and he hopes to inspire them to chase their dreams and passion through his work.
Angela Flores (Camille)
Angela Flores is Extremely grateful for the opportunity to be playing Camille in The Ghosts of Lote Bravo. A San Antonio native whose passion for acting comes from the love of her city’s culture and musical theater. She aspires to be an educator, wanting to give back to the communities that helped mold her. This will be her second production with Teatro Audaz, and is excited to be part of this fantastic familia. She attends San Antonio College after 20 years of gaining life experience, where she will earn her Associate of Arts with the hope and faith that she will transfer to Texas State in San Marcos, TX, obtain her Bachelor of Arts, and one day her Master of Fine Arts. Special thanks to Tina Sanchez, Jennifer Guajardo, and the Flores Family for never letting her give up on her dreams! SI SE PUEDE!
Brian Zavala (Pedro Lopez)
Brian Zavala (Pedro Lopez) is thrilled to work with Teatro Audaz San Antonio finally! He is elated to grace The Cellar Theatre with his acting debut. His recent work includes performing in the ensemble of Head Over Heels (The Harlequin Theatre), in addition to White Christmas and The Little Mermaid (The Wonder Theatre). Previous credits include ‘Cogsworth’s Beauty and the Beast, ‘Charlie Cowell’ The Music Man, and many more. Brian thanks Charles, Laura, and the many Latino actors who continuously inspire him.
Gabriel Gonzales (Robert Castillo)
Gabriel Gonzales is ecstatic to perform in his second show with Teatro Audaz. He’d like to thank his mother for all her love and support. Previous roles include “Leopold” in “Never the Sinner” by John Logan, “Nick” in “Over the River and Through the Woods” by Joe DiPietro, “Snug” in “A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare, and most recently as “Ring Announcer” in “Luchadora!”
Jai Gonzalez (The Man in the Black Hat)
Jai A. Gonzalez Quintero has been part of the Audaz familia from day one. He played Kika to a sold out run of "Aye, No" in the cellar with Teatro Audaz. Most recently did a staged reading of "The Chismosa Mysteries" with SoTex Playwrights lab at the Public Theatre. And was last seen on stage as Mateo to a sold out run of "American Mariachi" at the Public Theatre. Jai is a makeup artist and works in case management working with the homeless population. He is excited to share the stage with wonderful people and his heart is full to be directed by one of his dearest college professors Charles Falcon after so many years!
