TBPAA

At The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Academy (TBPAA), we believe the performing arts are more than stages, costumes, and applause—they are powerful tools for nurturing the whole child. Through dance, acting, music, and performance, our students discover the courage to express themselves, connect deeply with others, and step more boldly into who they truly are.

We are guided by the inspiring words of A. Horin:

“Performing Arts Education is not about creating future artists. It’s about enabling dream-making to happen in all students.”
— A. Horin, 2008

Our mission is not simply artistic excellence—it’s empowering every student to grow with confidence, compassion, curiosity, and joy.

Rooted in Research, Driven by Impact

A growing body of research shows that participation in the performing arts is linked with positive outcomes in cognitive, emotional, and social development. Arts engagement strengthens focus, supports emotional resilience, and invites students to think deeply, solve problems, and communicate with clarity and empathy.
