Director
Eric RehmMr. Rehm, 2015 graduate from Illinois State University and is now in his 9th year of teaching with it being his 3rd year at Summit Hill Junior High. Over the last 12 years, Rehm has worked on over 40 musicals, from community theater up to professional theatre. He is so grateful for his amazing team and this talented cast! Mr. Rehm would like to thank you for supporting the Summit Hill Junior High's Drama Club, and hopes you enjoy the show!

Assistant Director
Kim CoughlinMrs. Coughlin received her Bachelors Degree from Northern Illinois University in 1981 and her Masters Degree from VanderCook College of Music in 2002. She has taught band in the Summit Hill District her entire career and also created the unique Musical Revues that the junior high has presented since 2008. She is excited to be part of the team providing this opportunity for the SHJH students and has enjoyed working with this great cast!

Choreographer
Marissa FloresMs. Flores received her Bachelors Degree and ELL certification from Governors State
University. This is her fourth year teaching and her first full year teaching here at Summit Hill
Junior High. Over the last nine years, Flores has taught at various dance studios in the South
Chicago Suburbs including The Dance Company, and The Dance Workshop/City Nation
Studios. She has choreographed for High School dance teams including Stagg High School
Dance Competition Team. This is her third musical she will be choreographing for and she is so
excited to be a part of this wonderful team and cast here at SHJH! Go Spartans!

Choreographer
Maria Rehm Maria is a student at St. Xavier University and Summit Hill Junior High alum. She has been a part of many musicals including Jospeh and the Amazing technicolor Dreamcoat at Lincoln-Way North, and The Lion King and Annie at Hilda Walker. Maria was a member of the Lincoln-Way East pit bands for both Sweeny Todd and SpongeBob the Musical and was a Drum Major for the Lincoln-Way Marching Band. In the past, Maria was Stage Manager for High School Musical Jr, and this marks her second time as choreographer for the Summit Hill Drama Club. Maria has greatly enjoyed working with these talented students, and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Lead Costume Coordinator
Chris MarronThis will be Chris’ third production at Summit Hill Jr. High volunteering as the costume coordinator. She has also volunteered with Curtain Call Community Theater as Costume Coordinator as well. While she can sew simple pieces, she has met amazing people (Kelly, Emily, Laura) along the way that have helped her create the director’s visions. Chris has five children that have graduated from Summit Hill Jr. High. She would lastly like to thank Hickory Creek’s drama department (Emily and Laura) for lending us some amazing costumes. Working together within our communities has been a great foundation for creating new lifelong friendships. ENJOY THE SHOW!

Lead Costume Designer
Kelly Chinhis will be Kelly's second production at Summit Hill Jr. High (Little Mermaid and Shrek) volunteering as a seamstress in the costume department. She has been sewing costumes for her kids for 20 years. Five of her kids have graduated from Summit Hill SD 161, where she has held many SCO board positions. Kelly enjoys the challenges of bringing Mr. Rehm and Chris's costume ideas to life. She would like to thank the entire drama club for their hard work and the opportunity to assist in this production. Enjoy the show!

Props Master
Lauren KeatingLauren has been making props and costumes for Halloween and conventions for the last 10 years, so when her long time friend asks for props for one of her all time favorite musicals she was all too eager to try her hand at puppetry. This is the second production of Shrek the Musical that Lauren has had the pleasure of working on with Mr. Rehm! With a major in musical theatre she is so excited to be a part of the theatre any chance she can get, especially with a toddler at home and another baby on the way!
