Shrek The Musical Jr. Cast

Sarah is so excited to be in "Shrek the Musical". You will see her as a Duloc dancer as well as the villager and a dish in the travel song . This is Sarah's first ever musical to be in, and she is really proud of herself for being in the cast. She would like to thank her family for always being there for her to cheer her on and always loving and supporting her. It’s really nice of everybody to show support and have a great show.

This is Daniel’s second musical; he is so excited to be playing the role of the Big Bad Wolf. Previously, he was in "The Little Mermaid" at SHJH. Daniel also is part of the SHJH choir. His passion is drawing and he won last year’s mural contest.

Zoe is very excited to perform in "Shrek Jr". This is her second year participating in drama club. Last year, Zoe played a Mother and a fairy in the Hilda Walker production of "Cinderella". She has been a choir member at both Hilda Walker and currently at SHJH. In her free time, Zoe loves to read and play guitar. Her favorite musicals are "Wicked" and "Hamilton". She hopes you enjoy the show!

Lyra’s nose cannot lie, she’s thrilled to be part of this amazing cast. Her memorable roles include Lavender in "Matilda", Mersister in "The Little Mermaid", Squidward in "SpongeBob", Ancestor/Moon in "Addam’s Family" and most recently young Anna in "Frozen". Lyra would also like to thank her friends and family for helping her through this show! Thank you to Mr. Rehm and Mrs. Coughlin for their confidence and support. She’s loved her all her theatre experiences since 5th through 8th grade.

Aubrey has been a member of the performing arts in the Summit Hill District for more than five years. In previous performances, Aubrey has been cast as a Fairy, a Grandmother and a townsperson. She has been an active member of the choir for three years and has completed a year of orchestra playing the violin. This year, Aubrey is extremely excited to be cast in "Shrek". She will appear as a Story Teller and Featured Dancer. She asks that the audience has a wonderful time during the show and hopes to see you after!

James is excited to be in the cast for “Shrek”! This is her fourth time being in a musical production! James was in "Matilda Jr." as Mrs. Trunchbull and in “Cinderella” as the Stepmother at Walker. She is a member of the Summit Hill Spartan Singers, Chamber Choir and Concert Band. James would like to thank her family for always being there for her, Mr. Rehm and Mrs. Coughlin for this opportunity and support, the coaches who helped her learn all the singing and choreography, and whoever is reading this for being here watching the show! Raylan is as happy as an Ogre in his swamp to be on stage again. He has previously appeared in productions with AAMCT, Spotlight and Oak Lawn Theatre Companies. Recent roles include Flotsam in "The LIttle Mermaid", Kristoff in "Frozen" and his performance within the SHJH Musical Revue. Raylan was also selected to perform at the 2024 ILMEA music festival. He would like to thank the cast, crew and family for their support. This one is for GG!

This is Haley’s third musical, and she is very excited to be included in this show. The past shows she has been in were "Frozen Jr" and "Matilda Jr". Aside from theater, Haley likes to ice skate in her free time and has been doing so for the past couple years. She hopes you enjoy the show!

"Shrek" is Norah's third show and she is honored to be in this wonderful production. Last year in the Hilda Walker production "Cinderella", she was cast as the fairy godmother. At the moment she is taking vocal lessons with Mrs. Lindy at Down Home Guitars. Norah is so excited to play the roles of Mama Bear and Teen Fiona. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Chloe is no stranger to the stage! She has been in two musicals with the Street of Dreams Junior Theatre. Chloe played Cat # 2 in "The Seussical Kids" as well as Bloat and Pearl’s Mom in "Finding Nemo Jr.". This year as a fifth Grader, Chloe joined the Hilda Walker Drama Club in their production of "Finding Nemo Jr"., playing Crush the Sea Turtle as well as a dancing shark. Chloe was beyond thrilled to be asked to join the SHJH Drama Club’s production of SHREK The Musical Jr. as Baby Shrek! She thanks them for this opportunity!

This is Lea’s third theater production. In the past, she played Snyder in the Curtain Call production of "Newsies" and was an ensemble member for Hilda Walker's production of "Cinderella". Lea is a proud member of the Spartan singers and is so grateful for the opportunity to be in this production of "Shrek". She has loved being a part of this amazing cast, and hopes you enjoy the show!

Addie is a seventh grader and this is her first year in the SHJH Drama Club. She previously participated in the Drama Club at Hilda Walker where she was an ensemble member in "Matilda the Musical" and the chef in "Cinderella". Addie loves to sing and is also a member of the Summit Hill Choir. Addie’s favorite place to be is performing on stage and she can’t wait for the curtain to rise. She hopes you love the show as much as she does!

Caleb is excited for "Shrek Jr." playing the one and only Captain of the Guards. This is his second musical at Summit Hill and he absolutely loves it. Last year Caleb was in "Little Mermaid". He loves music and plays both trumpet and French horn in the SHJH concert band, pep band, and jazz band. Caleb is on the Scholastic Bowl team, in Video Club, is active in his Boy Scout Troop 237 and loves golfing with his Junior PGA team. He believes hard work pays off and is excited for high school next year!

Kate is incredibly excited to be a part of another SHJH drama club production!! She was last seen as Flounder in "The Little Mermaid" at SHJH. Kate is incredibly dedicated to her studies and activities, including NJHS, cheerleading, golf, choir, and of course, theater! Some past roles that Kate has played include Vivienne Kensigton in "Legally Blonde", Elsa in "Frozen", Babette in "Beauty and the Beast", Matilda in "Matilda", Moana in "Moana", and Wednesday Addams in "The Addams Family"! Kate is so proud to be a part of this cast and appreciates the amazing teachers who put this together!!!

Liliana is an eighth grader. She plays the Pied Piper and a Featured Dancer. Liliana loves to sing, dance, and act, and is very excited to be in this performance. She plays the flute in the Summit Hill Band and enjoys spending her free time with her friends. Liliana is very grateful for her parents and siblings for supporting her. She hopes you have a great time and enjoy the show!!

Dominic is very excited for you to see this production of "Shrek". Last summer he was cast as Jack Kelly in "Newsies". In his free time, Dominic is in band, choir and golf. Enjoy the show!

Maddie is so excited to be in "Shrek"! She has been in two other plays, but this is her first at Summit Hill. She loves to cook, read and of course be in musicals. Maddie has two roles in "Shrek"; the first is a Duloc Guard and a Sunflower. Maddie is so excited to perform and hopes you love it.

This is Violet's first time in drama club and her first play ever. She's excited, as this is her first time to do something like this in front of a bunch of people. Violet is also in band and orchestra. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Kayden couldn’t be happier with the musical play selection this year. He will be taking on the role as Donkey. Kayden’s most recent role was in the musical “Newsies” over the summer where he played the character of Crutchie. He enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with his family and friends. Kayden hopes you enjoy the show!

Jaxon has performed in musicals and plays since he was five. He is happy to be part of another great show!

Alice is in eighth grade at SHJH. She has been in numerous productions through drama club as well as summer acting programs. Acting, singing, and dancing are some of her biggest passions. Alice also loves to run, swim, bike and be active with her friends. She hopes you have a great time watching this show!

Alani is thrilled that she has joined the musical "Shrek" cast as Pig 2. This marks her third musical performance, following her role as a singer/dancer in "Matilda" in 2023 and her portrayal of "The Herald" in "Cinderella" in 2024. In addition to her stage performances, Alani is an active member of the Frankfort Square Wildcats and Spartans Cheer Teams. She also participates in the SHJH choir and the Praise Dance ministry at her church. Alani wishes to express her gratitude to her family for their unwavering support and encouragement. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Aydan is excited to play the one and only Lord Farquaad in the musical "Shrek". He likes to play his trumpet in his free time and hang out with friends. This is his fifth year being in a musical. Some roles he has played in past musicals were Grimsby, Hans, and Plankton. Have an amazing time at the show.

Kinsley is making her first big performance on stage here. She's showcased her talents in talent shows before but never made an impact. Kinsley has a dream to become an Idol and create her own Anime manga and shows. She practices her singing and voice acting skills everyday. Kinsley also practices her drawing so that that dream may be achieved. She has been in dance classes for seven years. She's been in “circle the state” choir and won the competition with her team. Though Kinsley's in the background for now, she knows one day she’ll find her day to shine!

This is Maggie’s first year in Drama Club! She is super excited to perform on stage and share this wonderful experience with everyone! Maggie enjoys singing, badminton, spending time with friends and family, video games, and dogs! A special thanks to her friends and family for all their love and support. Ambang is so excited to be in this program. She is the bishop, and plays other characters as well! Ambang is also in orchestra and likes to play the viola. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Bella is an eighth grader and this is her first play. She likes volleyball and is also part of our Summit Hill Choir. She hopes you like the show. Look out for the Ogres!

Sylvia is an eighth grader and this is her second play! I She was in "Matilda" as a dancer in sixth grade. Sylvia is shy, so it’s a big thing for her to participate in these plays. She hopes to continue doing these and maybe one day get a big part in a play!

This is Adalie's second year in the SHJH drama club. Adalie Is an eighth grader. She also was in the Hilda Walker choir for two years and the Summit Hill choir for two years. Adalie has been dancing for eight years. She loves being a part of "Shrek the Musical" and hopes you enjoy the show.

Ceana is honored to be in the cast of “Shrek”. She is honored to be Mama Ogre\ensemble in this wonderful play. This is the fourth play she’s been in. She played Ursula in “The Little Mermaid” in 2024 and played a spokesperson in “Worldly Goods” for Calvin Christian. She also was a shepherd in the Nutcracker at ballet 5:8. She loves playing cello for Summit Hill and is training to be in the swim team in Lincoln Way East. She is truly honored to be in this production and is excited to see you all there. Mckenzie is musical. She enjoys playing piano, violin, bass guitar and singing. She likes to snow ski, ride her bike, swim, and hangout with her friends. Her favorite vacation was to Destin, Florida where she was able to parasail, swim in the ocean, snorkel,, and go deep sea fishing.

Isabella is very happy to be a part of "Shrek" this year! This is her third musical and she hopes it won’t be her last. Isabella does other activities like Choir, Cheerleading, and in the meantime will take care of her pets. She hopes you enjoy the show.

Siena is so excited to perform "Shrek" the musical for you. She is a seventh grader and this is her fifth performance. Siena hopes you really enjoy the play!

Autumn is forever more excited to be playing Dragon in Summit Hill’s “Shrek Jr.” She has been in many musicals since she was five. She most recently played Anna in "Frozen Jr." Autumn would like to thank her mom, Mrs. Coughlin, Mr. Rehm, Mrs. Lewkow and her grandma for everything they’ve done to help her. She hopes you enjoy the show that all the cast members worked so hard to make!

This is Kate's second year in the SHJH Drama Club. She has loved everything musical her entire life! Her previous roles include a Big Kid in "Matilda" at Hilda Walker Intermediate School, Old Man Jenkins in "SpongeBob" at Spotlight, Aquata, a mersister, in "The Little Mermaid" at SHJH, and a butler and a member of Oaken's family in "Frozen" at Spotlight. She is a proud member of the SHJH Spartan Singers and the Summit Chamber Choir. She is now playing the role of Ugly Duckling and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Justine's main part in the show is Storyteller and she's so happy to be a part of this production. She can’t wait for you all to have a great time at our show. Justine is also a part of the Summit Hill Junior High Orchestra and String ensemble where she plays cello. Justine has enjoyed doing volunteer work in the past. She's always loved the theatre life and is proud to say she has many memories of family members taking her to see several plays and Broadway productions!

Emma is a seventh grader at SHJH. While at Walker, she was in tech crew for "Matilda" and in "Cinderella" as Shy Maiden, a townsperson and a milk maid. This year in "Shrek", she is one of five feature dancers and a Duloc Dancer! Emma's other interests include singing with the Spartan Singers and the newly added Summit Chamber Choir. Emma also has a love for horses and has been riding for almost three years. She's completed three student horse shows and has won many ribbons, including 1st place! She hopes you all enjoy the show!
