Mr. Rehm, 2015 graduate from Illinois State University, has been teaching for 7 years and has been loving his first year at SHJH! Over the last 12 years, he has worked on over 40 musicals, from Junior up to semi-professional theatre. This is Mr. Rehm’s first time in the director’s chair and he is so grateful for his amazing team and this talented cast! Mr. Rehm would like to thank you for supporting the Summit Hill Junior High's Drama Club, and hopes you enjoy the show!

Mrs. Coughlin received her Bachelors Degree from Northern Illinois University in 1981 and her Masters Degree from VanderCook College of Music in 2002. She has taught band in the Summit Hill District her entire career and also created the unique Musical Revues that the junior high has presented since 2008. She is excited to be part of the team providing this opportunity for the SHJH students and looks forward to working with this great cast.

Sophia Houchins graduated from Crete Monee High School in 2022. She has taken ballet since she was 4 years old and also partook in choir in middle and show choir all four years of high school. Sophia has been in over 10 musical productions. Sophia has had mentor roles in and out of high school and loves taking charge and sharing the knowledge she has picked up over the years. She is currently taking a gap year and plans on attending Governors State University in the fall for a year and from there apply to the University of Indiana in Bloomington with a major in performing arts and a minor in business. Sophia has a passion for dance, singing, and teaching and is honored to choreograph her very first musical for Eric Rehm, who was her very first music teacher.
