High School Musical Jr. Cast

Brooklyn is excited to be in her first musical performance! She is an 8th grader who enjoys catching butterflies, likes bugs and plays on two softball teams. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Abby has been in one drama play before this show, which was Mean Girls, and she loved it! Abby is playing Ava Smith, a brainiac, which is fun for her to play.

McKayla is a musical theater enthusiast. She has been a part of many musical theater performances with multiple production companies. McKayla played Lead Ancestor #2 in the Addams Family Jr production, Citizen #1 in Jingle Jury and Elf #5 in Elf the Musical Jr. She was an ensemble member in Moana Jr. and Lion King Jr. McKayla is also a member of the SHJH Spartan Singers. Performing gives McKayla such joy. She wants to thank everyone that supports the arts and hopes you enjoy the show. Go Wildcats!

Adelaide is very excited to be performing as Sharpay in High School Musical. She joined drama club as an 8th grader. This is Adelaide’s first musical. She is also in choir and enjoys it almost as much as drama club. Adelaide would love to thank her mom for making her audition, her dad for encouraging her and everyone else who encouraged her and helped her prepare for this show. She wants to give a special thanks to her directors and choreographer for helping with everything to get to this point. She plans to continue her musical endeavors in high school. Adelaide would also like to congratulate her cast members for working extremely hard to make this production possible. Always remember, “We’re all in this together"!

Max is in seventh grade and he had previously played the role of Lurch in the Hilda Walker production of The Addams Family. He enjoys playing games and watching cartoons when he can. He hopes you can enjoy the show!

Ella can’t wait for opening day! This is Ella’s 1st year in the SHJH Drama Club. Last year, she was an Ensemble Member in the Hilda Walker Production of The Addams Family. She also enjoys cheerleading and hanging out with friends. She would like to thank Mr. Rehm and Mrs. Coughlin for all of their work. Ella has enjoyed being part of the cast and all of the work and preparation leading up to the show. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Janessa is starring as Mrs. Tilly, you may have seen her last year in an improv group! She is super excited to be in her first ever drama club show! Janessa's personal favorite scene in High School Musical is the "stick to the status quo" scene. She hopes you all enjoy it just as much as she does!

This is Logan's 1st year in the SHJH Drama Club. He is a proud member of the SHJH Spartan Singers. Logan enjoys playing soccer, video games, and spending time with his family. He has loved every moment of being in this cast, and hopes you enjoy the show!

Emily is an 8th grader and this is her first show! She enjoys reading and her favorite animal is a shark. She is excited to be in High School Musical and hopes you enjoy the show!

This is Brayden’s 1st year in the SHJH Drama Club. He is a big fan of musical theater and enjoys watching movies, playing video games, swimming, and spending time with family in his free time. Brayden has loved being a part of this cast and would like to thank the directors, volunteers, and everyone that has worked so hard to make this production possible. He hopes you enjoy the show!

This is Gabriella's second musical, but first time in a lead role. She was Lead Ancestor 4 in The Addams Family last year at Hilda Walker. Gabriella loves acting, singing, and dancing. She would like to dedicate this show to her family for supporting her through everything. Enjoy the show!

Abigayle is excited to be in High School Musical Jr. after she has had such a great time in other local theater programs. This is Abbey’s 4th show she has been in or helped with. Abigayle's musical talents don’t just stop with theater, she also plays the trumpet in SHJH band and pep band. Additionally, she runs on the SHJH Cross Country team. When Abbey isn’t busy at school, she is dancing at Street of Dreams. Abigayle is on the Evolve competition dance team. Abbey is extremely energetic and has always enjoyed staying busy. She is excited to be a part of this cast and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

This is Lily’s first play that she is starring in. She was backstage crew for Hilda Walker's play, The Addams Family. She is in choir and swimming along with the play. Lily wants to thank her parents for helping her with everything for this play.

Tess is excited to be a part of High School Musical Jr. This is her second musical. Tess was in The Addams Family at Hilda Walker last year. She has always enjoyed musical theater. She also enjoys playing tennis and basketball. Tess was on the 7th grade SHJH basketball team.

Cole is in 7th grade and 13 years old. This is his first musical with Summit Hill 161. Cole has been part of Curtain Call Community Theater since he was 6 years old. Some of the musicals he has been in are Dinostars, Bugs, Bear Went over the Mountain, High School Musical Jr, and Music Man. Cole also plays volleyball, plans to participate in track, sings in the choir, and plays the baritone in his school band. He is “Counting On You“ to sit back and enjoy the show!

Jenna is in seventh grade and has been in eight performances, including being in the ensemble for Into the Woods, Mary Poppins, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and The Addams family. She also played Willy Wonka in a Willy Wonka skit. Jenna has done dance and she loves art, writing, and watching musicals 24/7. She is very happy to be in this production. Good Evening Everyone! Ashley is so excited to be playing Mrs. Darbus in this years SHJH spring musical "High School Musical!" . She was in last year's production "You are Not Alone" at SHJH and in "Alice in Wonderland meets Harry Potter" a few summers ago at Ivy League summer camp! Ashley is so thrilled to see everyone here tonight and would like to thank you for coming out! Go Wildcats!!

Kelly is a 7th grader who is very excited for her solo role as Cathy in this year’s production of High School Musical Jr. This is the second musical production as she portrayed an Ancestor in last years The Addams Family at Hilda Walker. She is very excited to not only be performing with her friends and classmates, but also her sister. She is very thankful for the support of her family and friends. In her spare time she likes to read, dance, sing, and do gymnastics. She is also a singer in the SHJH Spartan Singers. She loves participating in all things musical and is a hardworking outgoing kid. She’d also like to give a big thanks to her sister and family for encouraging her to try out for the play.

Omo is in 8th grade and is incredibly excited to play his part in High School Musical Jr.! Some of his past performances include the SHJH musical revue last year and Willy Wonka Jr. In his free time, he enjoys playing his flute in band, viola in orchestra, percussion ensemble, playing video games, and chess club. He would like to thank his family for supporting everything he does, especially his mom and dad for dropping him off and picking him up to and from school.

This is Caitlin's second theatrical performance. She is 12 years old. She was in the Hilda Walker production of The Addams Family as an ancestor. Caitlin enjoys playing on her iPad and calling her best friend. She also likes to bake cookies with her mom. Caitlin would like to thank her best friend Ella for getting her interested in drama! She hopes you all enjoy our play that we worked really hard on!

This is Ashtyn's first time being in a musical! She was very nervous to sign up but she wanted to give it a shot, and got a perfect role! Ash flexed her schedule and took time practice her parts. She is very honored to be in this musical and is looking forward to being in another one next year!

Kylie is an 8th grader who has enjoyed singing, dancing, and acting since she was old enough to use her vocal cords! She has been a part of several plays, including Spotlight Art's Annie Jr and Moana Jr before trying out for High School Musical and landing the part of Coach Bolton. She thanks her parents for encouraging and supporting her throughout the practices. She is excited to perform and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Hope is an 8th grade student at Summit Hill. Other than being in the musical, she also enjoys being in orchestra, band, and choir. This is Hope's second production, she was also in “Into The Woods” as a member of the ensemble.

Abe is an 8th grader who is very excited to share his love for theater and singing with everyone! Some of his past performances include the SHJH Musical Revue last year, Rooster in Annie Jr., Grandpa George in Willy Wonka Jr., and more. He enjoys playing trombone and baritone in concert, jazz, and pep band. In his free time he enjoys art, Pokémon, and anime. He would like to thank his directors, Mrs. Coughlin and Mr. Rehm, along with Mrs. Kotze for giving him the guidance and knowledge to play his role. He would also like to thank his family for all their love and support.

Austin loves drama performances! Whether it be TV, film or stage production, he loves it. Last year, Austin got to be in his first musical, The Addams Family Jr., where he played Gomez Addams. In this production of High School Musical Jr., he plays Ryan Evans, a passionate lover of the arts who’s tired of living in his sister’s shadow.

Addy is an eighth grader at Summit Hill Junior High. She has been in five musicals before High School Musical. Some of her favorites were Mary Poppins and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. Addy is very excited to be part of the High School Musical cast.

Shrut plays a jock and Jack Scott. He is in band, action lab and art club. Shrut is very happy to see everyone! He is very thankful for the support of his family and friends!

Cailyn is in 8th grade and loves to sing and dance. She was in the musical Willy Wonka Jr. and takes dance classes in her free time. Cailyn is very excited to be a part of High School Musical Jr. and thanks her family and friends for coming to support her.

Olivia is very excited to be in this year's production of High School Musical Jr! Olivia has been in many musicals in and outside of school, such as The Little Mermaid, Moana, 101 Dalmatians, Mary Poppins, and more. In addition to theatre, Olivia is involved in choir and plays percussion in band. Outside of school, she does dance at TNT Extreme, Girl Scouts, and plays volleyball for fun. Olivia would like to thank everyone for supporting her, like her friends, family, and everyone involved with this show! After all, "we're all in this together!"

Addison is very excited to be performing as Gabriella in High School Musical Jr. She joined drama club as an 8th grader. This is Addison’s first musical. She is also in orchestra and choir and enjoys both as much as drama club. In her free time she likes to read and watch movies. Addison would love to thank everyone who helped her prepare for this show and a special thanks to her directors and choreographer for helping learn everything to get to this point. She plans to continue her musical theater endeavors in high school. Addison would also like to congratulate her cast members for working extremely hard to make this production possible. Nadia caught the performing bug at the age of three years old when she first set eyes on a ballerina dancing. When she was 4, she asked for a violin and while she only got a toy version, she never stopped pretending to play it until she got a real one. Nadia also plays the drums, uke, guitar, piano and sings. She found a love of music as she grew and was a part of two choirs. While working her way to dancing in her pointe shoes in ballet, she found herself having a love for the violin. Currently, she has added acting to her list. This is her first musical, and she is enjoying every part of the process in creating a fantastic show with her castmates. Nadia is very excited and hopes of all you enjoy the show!

Dylan Utt is currently an eighth grader and is super excited to be reprising his role of Zeke in “High School Musical Jr”! He has been a part of Curtain Call Theater in “Addams Family” (Ancestor), “Twelfth Night” (Curio), “High School Musical” (Zeke), “The Music Man” (Oliver Hix), and Peter Pan (Narrator)! Dylan is involved in many extracurricular activities such as Jazz Band, Pep Band, Percussion Ensemble, and of course Drama Club. He is also in Band as a percussionist, in addition to Choir as a tenor/baritone! Dylan would like to thank his family, friends, and teachers for all their support and encouragement! Enjoy the show!

Brooklyn is excited to be in High School Musical Jr! This is her debut performance. She enjoys dancing at Street of Dreams on the Evolve Team. Hip Hop and Tap are Brooklyn's favorite styles of dance. She also runs Cross Country on the SHJH Team and has made many improvements in the past year. This is Nolan’s 2nd stage performance! He previously started as Pugsley Addams in the Hilda Walker production of The Addams Family. He loves to make people laugh & enjoys comedy. His hobbies include sports card collecting, playing basketball, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers. When not on the stage, Nolan plays football for the Frankfort Square Wildcats. Nolan wants to thank all the cast, crew & directors for all their hard work on the show!

This is Rhiannon’s first time being in any type of theatre play. She is excited to be involved in High School Musical Jr. She is currently involved in Drama Club, Art Club, and plays saxophone in the band. In her free time, she loves to read, dance, listen to music and play volleyball.
