Peter and the Starcatcher Cast

Leah Alford (Boy/Peter)
Leah Alford is a Senior at Stamford High School and this is her first and last year at SHS. She's super hyped to be apart of this drama club, which is full of wonderful actors. Leah hasn't been in a play in 3 years so she's very excited to have a role in Peter and the Star Catcher. Even though she's new to Stamford, she plans to make a good impression before she leave for college!
Cooper Toland  (Molly )
Cooper is super excited to kick off her 3rd year with the Strawberry Hill Players, and even more excited to be playing Molly Aster at Stamford High School! Some shows from her pervious years at SHP include The Prom (Alyssa Greene), Senior Scenes 2023 (Kayla), Steel Magnolias (Annelle), Curtains (Featured Dancer), and Senior Scenes (Sandrine)! She would like to thank Tommy, Stephen, Matt, and Miss Dunn for being so flexible and understanding during this process as well as her family for all their love and support (and constant rides to and from rehearsals)! Finally, she would like to congratulate her fellow cast mates for putting on such an incredible show and thank the crew for all their hard work!
Jane McNamara (Prentiss)
Jane McNamara is a junior at Stamford High School and plays the character Prentiss. This is her second show with the Strawberry Hill Players, as she was in the teen ensemble for The Prom last school year. She loves both her role and this show and is so excited to perform it for everyone. She would like to thank Stephen, Ms. Dunn, Tommy, and the entire cast and crew for making this such a fun experience.
Sebastian Colfer (Ted )
Sebastian Colfer is a part of the Strawberry Hill Players production of Peter and the Starcatcher as Ted. He’s in his sophomore year at Stamford High School. He has previously performed in Willy Wonka and Something Rotten with the Stamford All School Musical. He has also performed in Senior Scenes and The Prom at SHS as well as The Addams Family at Curtain Call. He’s very excited to be apart of this production!
Leo Field (Black Stache)
A senior at Stamford High, Leo is beyond excited to be performing in his ninth show with the Strawberry Hill Players. Past shows include Willy Wonka (Charlie Bucket), Matilda the Musical (Bruce Bogtrotter), and Something Rotten! (Nigel Bottom) with the Stamford All-School Musical, as well as It’s a Wonderful Life (Young George/Newspaper Boy/Pete Bailey), Put On A Happy Face (Soloist/Ensemble), Bad Auditions by Bad Actors (Taggart), Curtains (Bobby Pepper), A Piece of My Heart (The American Men), and the Prom (Trent Oliver) with the SHP. Leo is captain of the Strawberry Hill Improv Players, is on the SHS debate team and the SPS mock trial team, is the secretary of both the Black Knight Student Council and the Tri-M Music Honor Society, and is a member of both the SHS Orchestra and National Honor Society. He also co-hosts a podcast called Weekly Political Pep Talks in his free time! He would like to thank the cast, crew, and everyone else who helped make Peter and the Starcatcher happen!
Keyli Maldonado  (Lord Aster)
Keyli Maldonado is very excited to be a part of this year’s fall play, Peter and the Starcatcher for her senior year. Some past shows include Elf Jr. (Charlotte Dennon), Frozen Jr.(Elsa), “It’s a Wonderful Life” (Violet Peterson), SHS’ Senior Scenes both her freshman and sophomore year, “A Piece of My Heart” (Whitney), Curtains (Joanie Harmon), and The Prom (Olivia Keating/Ensemble). This is her fourth year with SHP, and she is very excited to be SHP’s secretary this year. Some of her hobbies include listening to boygenius, making friendship bracelets, and buying obnoxiously priced lattes. She would like to thank her friends, family, and the rest of SHP for the wonderful experiences she’s had so far.
Elysia Ring-Howell (Mrs. Bumbrake)
Elysia is so excited to be playing Mrs. Bumbrake in Stamford High’s production of Peter and the Star Catcher. Along with shows here Elysia also performs and studies with Rising Star’s Performing Arts’ Joe Santinellio and Jessica Rae Foulds, and at MTC with Jim Shilling, Tracy Marble, and Kristine Bingham. Other favorite roles Elysia has done include Fiona in Shrek jr., Raven Narrator in Shuddersome Tales of Poe, and the 2nd Spirit in the Magic Flute. Elysia thanks all her friends, family, and teachers who have supported her and fostered her love for theater and her talents and she hopes you enjoy the show.
Connor Armstrong (Alf)
Connor Armstrong has been in the RIS productions of Into the Woods as the Baker, and Once on this Island as TonTon Julian. He is extremely excited to do another production since he hasn't done anything since Covid hit. He is super proud of the cast and crew this year, and is very thankful to the people who pushed him to audition for the Peter and The Starcatcher.
Adele Samsonas  (Bill Slank/Fighting Prawn)
Adele Samsonas is a junior at SHS and is thrilled to be apart of this production! On the stage since 7 years old, she has always had a love for singing, dancing, and acting. Some of Adele's past productions include Cinderella (Narrator), Sleeping Beauty (Maleficent), Dear Edwina (Myra/Fairy Forkmother/Franks Ma/Sonoma), The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Annie (Miss Hannigan), The Addams Family at TCHS (2020) and ND Fairfield (2022), Senior Scenes (Natalie, Bright Eyes), and The Prom (Angie Dickinson). Outside of theater, she enjoys volleyball. She also has experience in karate. She would like to thank Stephen, Miss Dunn, Tommy, cast, and crew for putting on such a fabulous production. She would also like to thank family, Brian Bianco, Mr. Chuba, Karen Randazzo, Mrs. Crilly, and Miss Ruth Rolander for helping to get her where she always wanted to be.
Ava Carney (Grempkin/Teacher)
Ava Carney is a sophomore here at stamford high! This is her second year with SHP, and she previously was apart of the SHP production of The Prom! She’s also apart of SHIP and the stamford high school band!
James Carlton (Mack)
A junior at AITE, James has participated in four shows in the club. Bad Auditions By Bad Actors: “Coach”, Senior Scenes XXIV & XXV, and The Prom: Adult Ensemble. James has had an amazing time with such an exhilarating show! They would like to thank Tommy, Stephen and Ms. Dunn for another incredible opportunity, their family for the support given during my time here, and everyone else within the drama club. Thank you all for the amazing experience!
Miranda Rotstein (Smee )
A junior at AITE, Miranda will be performing as Smee. This is her second production with the Strawberry Hill Players, debuting in their production of The Prom last spring. Miranda has always had a passion for the arts, whether it be playing ukulele or performing on stage! She is so thrilled to be part of this show and says “break a leg!” to the cast and crew.
Martha Castro (Hawking Clam)
Martha is very excited for this show since it’s her first! She is super grateful to be a part of this show with such amazing people. Martha is very proud of herself for going out of her comfort zone to do something she loves.
Polina Kolomiiets (Ensemble)
Polina is a sophomore at Stamford High School and is thrilled to be in Peter and The Starcatcher. This is Polina’s first show with SHP and her first show ever. In her free time, Polina enjoys playing violin and reading. She would like to thank the cast and crew for creating such a great community where she could make new friends!
Zoe Guaman  (Captain Scott/Ensemble)
Zoe Guaman a sophomore at stamford high is so excited to take on the role of Captain Robert Falcon Scott. Past roles include Leeann from a piece of my heart, Theo in pippin, being a part of the ensemble in the prom, as well as taking training at Rising Stars Preforming Arts. Peter and the Starcatcher is a new vibe from things she’s done before and she is so excited to take on this new challenge. She will like to thank her family and friends for supporting her through every show she has taken part in!
Nevaehaliz Rivera (Sanchez/Ensemble)
Nevaehaliz Rivera is a sophomore at SHS in the ensemble of Peter and the Starcatcher. This is her second year with the drama club. In her free time, she does dance out of school and she’ll be in the thanksgiving parade this year. I’m so excited to be doing this show and can’t wait to do more shows in the future.
Parker Bamberger (Ensemble)
Parker is a freshman and is so excited to be in the ensemble of Peter and The Starcatcher! This is Parker’s first show with SHP and their first show ever. In their free time, Parker loves drawing and listening to music. Parker would like to thank the cast and crew for making this an amazing experience. They would also like to thank their family and friends for being so supportive.
Krystal Manalo (Ensemble)
Krystal is a sophomore at SHS and Is excited to be in her first show of Peter and the Starcatcher! She is new to theater but is excited to be apart of such a great cast and meet new people!
