Heavenly Manor Cast

Bonnie Bartley (Olive)
Bonnie, from Henderson, KY, is a familiar face in local performing arts, and you may have seen her most recently in Well at the Theatre Workshop of Owensboro (TWO). She calls herself “one crazy lady,” but we know that is absolutely in the best way! She was one of the original readers of Heavenly Manor for the workshop and was as excited as the rest of us to see the rest of the story!
Paula Boenigk  (Ruthann)
Paula (and her late husband Michael) has been a beloved Evansville theatre fixture for decades and was a member of the original staged reading for Heavenly Manor. More than one STAGEtwo board member is one of her “kids” from when she and Michael taught drama, storytelling, and mime, and we’re always excited when we get her to take time away from visiting her kids and grands to do shows with us! She retired from EVSC as a librarian and still offers private tutoring, vocal, line, and character coaching. Her love of acting began by growing up in an extended family filled with hysterical storytellers. She especially loved Heavenly Manor because it features so many strong roles for senior actors.
Kyle J. Burgess  (Larry)
Kyle is one of the "young'uns" of the cast, but he has an outsized resumé, having performed at almost every theatre within about a 50 mile radius of Evansville in the last few years. He’s been singing since he was 3 years old, and anyone who’s seen him in musicals can attest to his brilliant talent. He loved the script and felt it was a great opportunity to work with Evansville’s finest. He says: “Thank you to my friends and family for their continued support, and shout out to my grandparents Papaw (Guy), Mamaw (Virginia), Granny (Ginny) and Granny O’ (Louise) who I valued and will still value the time I’ve spent with them in their old age.”
Noah Harrison  (Harry)
Noah is another young actor, but he’s already quite the veteran around local stages. A graduate of the theatre program at USI, he’s also appeared in shows with Evansville Shakespeare Players, Children’s Theatre of Southern Indiana, and in projects at STAGEtwo. He works as a speech coach at Mater Dei, and does dog sitting on the side, so let him know if you need any help with your pooches!
Rick Kersting (Junior)
He may be playing a character called “Junior” but Rick has decades of experience in theatre all around the area. He’s a familiar face on stage but has also been a tireless supporter of our local community theatres, donating time, money, cabinets (thanks again, Rick!), and most importantly, tireless support and cheerleading. He also was in the original reading of Heavenly Manor back in 2019, and knew this would be even better with his pal Katy directing.
Jon Lutz  (Leo)
A graduate of USI, Jon has performed as an actor and musician in a wide variety of venues locally and nationally. Born in Owensboro, KY and now living in Evansville, Jon loves to fly fish and do home renovation that are pretty darned impressive based on the pictures we’ve seen on his socials. He was drawn to Heavenly Manor for the chance to work with a talented, experienced cast.
Megan Nantz  (Nurse Krafton)
Another long-time STAGEtwo family member from across the river, Megan is a familiar face from almost every local theatre in the area, along with her husband of almost 15 years, Alex! She works for Deaconess Hospital and is a devoted mom to her two boys Samuel and Jenson (yes, after that show!) and loves teaching in children’s ministry in her church. She decided to audition for Heavenly Manor when Sharon’s daughter Brooke told her she’d be perfect for the Nurse, and of course… she was right!
William C. Wells (Ronald)
William is excited to get back on stage after the pandemic, and we’re thrilled to have him! He has performed all over the area with Evansville Civic Theatre, Actors Community Theatre of Jasper, and other theatre groups ranging from Louisville, KY to Wuerzburg, Germany! William has spent nearly 20 years devoted to working with alcohol and drug treatment programs in the criminal justice system, and now works as the Program Director for Substance Abuse Services under Vanderburgh Misdemeanor Court. Another somewhat nomadic character, he was born in El Paso, raised in New Albany, and moved to Evansville in 2019 with many detours along the way.
