Emma deBerjeois (Anya)Emma deBerjeois is a senior who participated in Spartan Stage productions of Singin’ in the Rain (Mary Margaret), Disney's High School Musical (Gabriella), Addams Family (Wednesday)and Grease(Marty). She also participated in productions of Aladdin, Music Man Kids (Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn), Music Man Jr. (Amaryllis), Sound of Music Jr. (Brigitta von Trapp), Seussical, Annie, Alice in Wonderland, Grease, and Mamma Mia. She participates in Chorale,Chamber Choir, ballroom dance and assists with choreography. “Throughout my life, someone I would have to thank for getting me to this point is my mother. My mom would sit at the piano with me for hours and play songs till late at night just so I would be happy with how I performed. Along with being my director for this show, she is a great help when I need to practice lines, get suggestions on how to speak, and even my movement on stage. So, I would like to thank her for being my amazing guide throughout this time in my music life.”
Ryan Sullivan (Dmitry)Ryan Sullivan is a senior who participated in Spartan Stage productions of Singin’ in the Rain (Cosmo)Disney’s High School Musical (Troy) Addams Family (Fester)and Grease(Roger). He played roles in numerous productions prior to high school, Shrek (Donkey), The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Aladdin (Jafar), Lion King (Simba), and many others. He participates in boys varsity volleyball, choir, and is on the Varsity indoor and outdoor track teams. “I would like to thank my mom for always being there for me either it my life had to do with music or sports, and my dad, very supportive parents.” He loves to be in the musical, spend time with family and is so happy and ready to portray Dmitry.
Aaron Ali (Vladd Popov)Vlad is excited for his Spartan Stage debut as Vlad. This is his first stage production since elementary school when he was Horton in Seusical Kids and the King in Sleeping Beauty.Aaron participates in Varsity Track, National Honors Society, Spartan Sports Network, Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Science Olympiad, and Powerlifting.Huge thank you to my family and all the people I call family who drive me to improve. You guys are amazing, love ya'll. Hi Mom!
Kira Macomber (Dowager Empress)Kira Macomber is ecstatic to be performing with Spartan Stage! Kira is an avid musician, participating in band (French horn), choir, Spartan Sound Machine, Area All-State (vocal), NYSSMA & All-County (both)! She is also a Company/Competition dancer with Aspire Dance CNY, performing in The Nutcracker as Clara in 2022 and as the French Doll/Marzipan/Flower last year. Some other show credits include: Matilda (Mrs. Phelps/dancer), SpongeBob (Karen), The Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery Theater (Susan), The Lion King (Nala), and a young urchin in Les Misérables with Spartan Stage back in 2018! “I would like to thank Mrs. Currier and Mrs. Labatos for their hard work and encouragement, Miss Budge for always being my number one fan, and Mr. Godzak for teaching me how to explore my voice!”
Ermin Hajdarevic (Gleb)Ermin is an actor, singer, and musician who has performed in shows such as Descendants Jr. (King Ben), Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery (Richard/Mr Polk), Matilda Jr (Nigel), and Fiddler on the Roof (Sasha/Ensemble). Outside of theater, Ermin has performed with Area All County and New York Area All State choirs. He’d like to thank his family and friends for their long lasting love and support for his favorite activity.
Isabella Brostek (Lilly)Izzy is excited to be returning to the stage for her second performance at Esm’s Spartan Stage. She has performed Madagascar (Gloria), Matilda (Matilda), Moana (Moana), Aladdin (Babkak), Legally Blonde (Brooke Wyhndom), and again in Matilda (Bruce). She enjoys playing softball in her free time and is a member of the chorale.“I would like to thank my mom,dad,sister,grandma and grandpa for always supporting me with everything I do”.
Gianna Miller (Little Anastasia)Gianna Miller is excited for her first Spartan Stage Show! She has been in three Spartan Stage Junior shows, Descendants, Matilda, and Willy Wonka and in Fremont Elementary productions. She woud like to thank her family, especially her mom and grandparents for helping her through all the highs and lows and always being there for her. "You are the best family! Love you!"
Lexi Lupia (Tsarina)Alexis Lupia is a junior and this is her fourth show for Spartan Stage. She is thrilled to be a part of Anastasia! She has previously done shows including Singing in the Rain (dancer), Disney’s High School Musical (ensemble), Addams Family (Ancestor), Annie (Annie), The Little Mermaid (Flounder), Cats (Jemimah), Descendants (Evie), Emma: the Pop Musical (dancer) and The Lion King (ensemble). “I would like to Thank Mrs. Currier for her start into my musical career and Mrs.Labatos for helping me advance in my career. I would also like to thank my mom for being my best friend and for all her support, love and encouragement through all my successes and downfalls.”
Trevor McDonald (Tsar)Trevor McDonald is a junior and this is his sixth show in Spartan Stage.He has previously done 101 Dalmatians (Sgt. Tibbs), Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory (Charlie), The Little Mermaid (ensemble), Emma: A Pop Musical ( Phillip), Newsies ( Police Chief & Bill Hearst) Mary Poppins (The Chairmen), The Addams Family (Conquistador Ancestor), High School Musical (Theatre / Smart Student),Jeffery (Curious Savage), Roscoe Dexter (Singing In The Rain), and Dancer (Asking Strangers The Meaning of Life) He's thankful for all the support of his family to keep going in theater and letting him follow what he wants to do in the future!
Evangeline Tsan (Olga)Evangeline Tsan comes back to Spartan Stage after performing in Singing in the Rain (R.F. Simpson’s Wife), High School Musical (thespian), Addams Family (ensemble), and The Little Mermaid (ensemble). She is a junior who enjoys singing and making music. “I am thankful for my friends and family who have supported me along the way, and for Mrs. deBerjeois for being there for me along the way.”
Olivia Ferrara (Dunya )Olivia is looking forward to performing Anastasia. Olivia debuted on the ESM high school stage in 2018 as Little Coset in the High School production Les Miserables. Olivia has also been a part of Descendants Jr. (Jay), Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery Theater (Brett), Matilda (Bruce), Curious Savage (Fairy May), Singin’ in the Rain, Shrek Jr (Pinocchio), and Asking Stranger the Meaning of Life. Olivia has also been a part of Jr. High All County and Jr. High Area All State, as well as participating in NYSSMA. Layla Nuzzo (Black Marketeer #2)
Elise Mancini (Marfa)Ellie Mancini is returning to Spartan Stage for her 4th and final year, after being in Grease (Cheerleader), High School Musical (Kelsi Nelson), Singin’ in the Rain (Featured Dancer), Mean Girls Jr. (Regina George), Suessical Kids (Mayzie La Bird), and Frozen Jr. (Sven). She also participates in Gymnastics, Indoor and Outdoor Track, and is a member of Tri-M Music Honor Society. “I would like to thank my director, Mrs. deBerjeois for always believing in me and supporting me through everything, our choreographer, Mrs. Cramer-Walter for putting her trust and faith into my dance ability, but most importantly my mom and dad, for being my biggest supporters in every show I’ve been in, and letting me live out my lifelong dream. Congratulations to this cast and crew, you should be very proud of yourselves.” So sit back and enjoy Spartan Stage’s production of Anastasia.
Elliot Steidl (Alexei )Elliot Steidl(Alexei)Elliot is a 5th grader who is beyond excited to be debuting on the Spartan Stage. Along with this production of Anastasia, he is playing the role of Pabbie in Frozen Kids at Fremont Elementary in May. He performed as Horace in last year’s Fremont production of 101 Dalmatians Kids. In addition, Elliot has participated in Syracuse Children’s Theater summer camps for the past 3 years. Memorable roles include Jack Scott in Highschool Musical Jr, Walker Dee Plank in How I Became a Pirate, and Rikki in The Knight at Dawn, among others. When Elliot isn’t doing theater he enjoys playing the saxophone, football and drawing.

Nolan Wall (Bum #1)Nolan most recently played a policeman in singing in the rain, an ancestor in The Addams Family and this is his fourth Spartan Stage production. Nolan has been in The Sound of Music (stage manager), Music Man (Winthrop), Addams Family (ensemble), High School Musical (Mong) James and the Giant Peach (ensemble). ”I would like to say thanks to all my friends and family for always supporting me, especially my parents for working hard so I get to do this.”
Romelo Martin (Bum #2)Romelo Martin is a 10th grader who is excited as ever to perform. In 8th grade, He performed in Matilda Jr. (Michael) and in 9th, Singing in the Rain (Villain and Musketeer). Romelo has participated in a few activities in the school, these are; Chorale and Chamber Choir. “It takes a lot of courage to do things like this, as well as motivation. I’d like to thank my family and friends for encouraging me to do things like this, as it’s made my life a lot more interesting.”

Dylan Mazariegos (Gorlinsky/Bum #4)Dylan Mazariegos is excited to return for year two of his Spartan Stage career, now as a Sophomore. In his middle school years he has performed in Lyncourt Schools; Willy Wonka Kids (Charlie Bucket) and 101 Dalmations Kids (Roger). Dylan also has one Spartan Stage production under his belt, ESM’s production of Singin’ In The Rain (Rod). Dylan is a multi-sport athlete and is also part of many musical ensembles throughout the highschool, and has been part of ensembles outside of the district such as Jr High All County (Band) and Sr High All County (Choir) as well as Area All State (Band). “I am thankful for my parents and music teachers for pushing me to be the best musician/vocalist that I can be!”
Cerrah Colton (Count Ipolitov)His second show with Spartan Stage Cerrah Colton has showcased their versatile skills in productions like "Rock of Ages," "Mean girls," "Singing in the Rain," and performed in Spartan Stage Jr's murder mystery at the Murder Mystery Theater. He has participated in both Band and Choir for multiple years and is looking forward to continuing his music education throughout his high school years.

Bayden Titus (Announcer)Brayden is a feshman and excited for his Spartan Stage production. Previous shows ana roels are Doug (Descendants), Zookeeper #1 (Madagascar jr.), Tom (Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery Theater), Mr. Wormwood (Matilda jr.), Guard #3 (Aladdin jr.), Snyder (Newsies jr.), P. Trout (Willy Wonka jr.), Brown Cesario (Camp Rock), The Jitterbug (Alice in Wonderlands Rock and Roll Adventure), The Stewart (Into the Woods), The Therapist (Asking Strangers the Meaning of Life). His favorite activities are Boy Scouts and theatre. “Thank you to my parents for always believing in me.”

Will Jones (Count Gregory)Will Jones is returning to the stage having been in Mary Poppins (Penguin Tapper), Lion King (Hyena), and Footloose (Cowboy Bob).He also recently was in spartan stage productions of Grease (Rydell High Student), Addams Family ( Ancestor), and High School Musical (Cheerleader). He is a member of the Chorale and Tri-M. Will is currently a Senior. “I would like to give my final thank you to my mom for always helping me these past four years and doing everything she could for me, I owe her the entire world.”

Eliza is an active member in her youth group and church choir. She also participated in Area All State choir and All county choir. She would like her family, Grandmama, and cousin Alexa for being constant supports in her life.

Laila Thomas (Russian Citizen)Laila is excited to be returning to Spartan Stage. Some of her previous shows include Singing in the Rain (Hairdresser), Newsies (Race), Rock of Ages (Lonny), Descendants (Carlos), and Suessical (Horton). Laila loves sports and is a part of the varsity XC, indoor track, and lacrosse teams. “I’m grateful for my parents and sister for supporting me to do everything I love, and for my friends for making this experience fun.”

Maria Romanov (Katie Hildreth)Katie is beginning her second show as a sophomore with Spartan Stage. She has participated in various productions before of Cinderella (Gus),The Wizard of Oz, Alice and Wonderland, Elf Jr (Elf #4), Mary Poppins, Willy Wonka, Shrek Jr., Lion King (Rafiki), Annie (Pepper), Emma: A Pop Musical, Descendants (Belle), Matilda Jr. (Alice), and other masterclasses with Encore Youth Productions. She also participates in Band and other sports, and I would like to thank my friends and family for supporting me but especially my siblings who give me all my confidence and courage in my life.

Some of her previous shows include Asking Strangers the Meaning of Life (Writer), Singin’ In The Rain (Kathy Selden), Beauty and the Beast (Belle), The Curious Savage (Ethel Savage), The Addams Family (Alice Beinecke), Legally Blonde (Emmett Forrest), Disney’ s Descendants (Mal), Matilda (Agatha Trunchbull), Emma: A Pop Musical (Harriet Smith), and various other performances. She is also a member of the 5 East Jazz Ensemble, Spartan Marching Band, Spartan Sound Machine, TRI-M Music Honors Society, and an all-state vocalist.
