Set in both Russia and Paris in the 1920's, this spectacular new musical is about discovering who you are and defining who you’re meant to be. Based on the 1997 animated film, Anastasia centers on Anya, a young woman with amnesia who sets out to discover the mystery of her past in dire search for her identity and her family. Along the way she meets two con men, Dmitri and Vlad, who attempt to pass her off as the lost princess, Anastasia Romanov. Together they travel to Paris to meet the Dowager Empress to present Anastasia in return for a monetary reward while being pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer, Gleb. This is only the beginning of their "Journey to the Past" full of adventure, drama, and spectacular music.
