9 to 5 the Musical Cast

Skylah Simao (Violet Newstead)
Skylah is a senior at Sparta High School. This is her fifth production with Sparta Spotlight Players. Skylah’s credits include: Newsies (Medda), Rock of Ages (Justice), Grease (Rizzo), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Mitch Mahoney), and 9 to 5 (Violet Newstead). Skylah is currently a dance captain for both varsity and prep show choirs. She is so excited to showcase her girl-boss of a character along with her castmates. Skylah plans to go into cosmetology and fashion after high school. She would also like to thank all her friends and family for their support and hope that everyone enjoys the show!!
Madysen Schwarz (Doralee Rhodes)
Mady is a junior at Sparta High School this year. This is going to be her 6th show with the Sparta Spotlight Players! Some of her past credits include: “Little Shop of Horrors” (crew), “Newsies” (Bowery Beauty/nun), “Rock of Ages” (Waitress #3), Sandy Dumbrowski from Grease, and Logainne SchwartzandGrubenirre from The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! She is also involved in Vocal Jazz, and both show choir groups: Upstage Adrenaline and Rise of Adrenaline. She would like to thank all of her best friends and parents and directors for always pushing her to reach her full potential! She would also like to thank everyone for coming and hopes everyone enjoys the show!!!
Delia Mathison (Judy Bernly)
Delia is a senior at Sparta high school and this will be her fifth production with Sparta Spotlight Players. Her past productions include “The Addams Family”, “Newsies”, “Rock of Ages”, and “Grease” where she played the character Frenchy. Outside of musicals, she is a singer/dancer and vocal section leader in the Rise of Adrenaline show choir and plays synthesizer in the Backstage Beats show band. Delia is also a part of Sparta's vocal jazz known as “Midnight Collective”, Sparta's marching band where she also plays synthesizer, art club, and varsity soccer. Delia plans on going to a four year university pursuing art and studying psychology, continuing within the arts or in therapy. She would like to thank her directors for continuously pushing her throughout her high school career, and helping her find her voice. Along with her directors, she would like to thank her parents for always showing up and lending a listening ear throughout the years and pushing her to be her best self even in the face of adversity. She would also like to thank her siblings and friends for always supporting and building her up no matter the circumstances, creating laughter she wouldn’t have otherwise. She thanks everyone for being a part of her journey and cannot wait to perform for everyone!
Parker Calkins (Franklin Hart Jr.)
Parker is a Senior at Sparta High School this year! This is his 8th production with the Sparta Spotlight Players! Past credits include: “Shrek the Musical” (Papa Bear/Ensemble), “The Addams Family” (Mal Beineke), “Little Shop of Horrors” (Ensemble/Audrey II puppeteer), “Newsies” (Jack Kelly), “Rock of Ages” (Dennis Dupree), “Grease” (Danny Zuko) and “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” (Leaf Coneybear). Parker is a dance captain for Upstage Adrenaline show choir as well as the assistant choreographer for Rise of Adrenaline this year! Parker is also choreographing his own show choir this year, that being Sound of Adrenaline at Meadowview middle school! He is also a part of Chamber Choir and Vocal Jazz. He was awarded an outstanding supporting role as Dennis Dupree in “Rock of Ages” and this past year won 2 outstanding lead performances for Danny Zuko in “Grease” and Leaf Coneybear in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at the Jerry awards!!! Parker’s plans after high school as of now are to attend school for a major in musical theatre and a minor in dance and choreography!! He would like to thank his friends and family for being so supportive throughout this process and always being there for him! And a big thank you to his directors, dance instructors, vocal coaches for being so supportive throughout his journey in music, dance, and theater, but also his journey in discovering himself! He hopes everyone can take away an important message from this show, laugh with your family, friends, and the people you love, and most importantly…just enjoy the show!!!
Sophia Ebert (Roz Keith)
Sophie is a senior at Sparta High School. This is her fifth show with the Sparta Spotlight Players. Her theatre credits include: “The Addams Family” (Elizabethan Queen Ancestor) and “Newsies” (Tommy Boy), and “Grease” (Jan). She was nominated by the Jerrys for best lead performance for her role as Jan. Sophie is also in Upstage Adrenaline and Rise of Adrenaline. Sophie wants to thank her family and friends for being supportive of all her accomplishments. Sophie's plans after high school are to go to college out of state for musical theatre or crime scene investigation. She would also like to thank her directors for always believing in her and giving her the opportunity to be the best she can be. She is very excited for you all to see the hard work that the cast and crew have put into this production! Enjoy the show!!!
Eddie Clark (Joe)
Eddie is a senior at Sparta high school, this will be his 6th production with the Sparta Spotlight Players, he was in “The Addams Family” (Pugsley), “Newsies” (Crutchie), “Rock of Ages” (Stacee Jaxx) , “Grease” (Kenickie), “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” (Chip Tolentino). Eddie is involved in an assortment of other extra curricular activities including being tenor section leader for Upstage Adrenaline, Tenor 1 in Midnight Collective (Sparta vocal jazz), Chamber choir, and now Tenor/Bass choir. Eddie has been nominated for outstanding lead performer for The Jerry Awards for the roles of: Pugsley, Crutchie, Stacee Jaxx, Kenickie, and Chip Tolentino. He is very grateful for all his friends, family, and the directors to help him pursue his passion of musical theatre.

Garrick Manning (Dwayne)
Garrick is a Junior at SHS this year, and this is the beginning of his 3rd year with Sparta Spotlight Players! 9 to 5 is his 5th production, with previous shows being “Newsies” as Finch, “Rock of Ages” as Joey Primo, and “Grease” as Sonny LaTierri. He was also involved in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” as William Barfee, for which he was awarded an Outstanding Lead Performance through the Jerry Awards! Garrick is one of 2 male performers to win this award from SHS, along with his good friend Parker Calkins! Garrick made many great memories and met so many new friends through the Jerry Awards, and it is his dream to someday go back! Garrick is involved in many things in the Music Department at SHS, including Show Choir, Jazz Band, and Jazz Combo. He’d like to personally thank his directors for the opportunities this show has given him, his friends and family for all their loving support, and the world of Theatre for bringing him more joy and memories than anything else! His message to everyone in the audience is… enjoy the show!!!
Roman Olbert (Josh / Ensemble)
Roman is a junior this year and this will be his 8th show! His previous roles include: “Shrek the Musical” (Young Shrek/Baby Bear/Dwarf), “The Addams Family” (Ancestor/Cousin Itt), “Little Shop of Horrors” (crew), “Newsies” (Romeo), “Rock of Ages” (Franz), and “Grease” (Roger). Other activities that he is involved in are Show Band, Jazz Band, Jazz Combo, Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and his own band Flavorville. Last year, he received a Jerry Award for Outstanding Supporting Role for his role in “Rock of Ages.” He would like to thank his boy band, The Bathroom Boyz, for all the support, food, and hospitality they have given him, as well as his friends and family for being supportive. He could not be more excited for this show, and can’t wait for everyone to see it!
Ella Noble (Kathy / Ensemble)
Ella is a junior at Sparta High School. This is her second musical production! Ella is also involved in Chamber Choir, Upstage Adrenaline, and Rise of Adrenaline show choir! She would like to thank everyone around her for supporting her in doing what she loves! She would like to give her thanks to everyone in this production for working hard and putting on this amazing show. Ella is so grateful for all her friends and family for supporting her and helping her grow through the years!
Bella Betterly (Margaret / Ensemble)
Bella is a sophomore and this is her third production here at Sparta, but her first character! For this production, Bella plays Margaret. On top of the musical, Bella also participates in Upstage Adrenaline as a performer, and in Rise of Adrenaline as a band member. She is also in Concert Band, marching band as color guard, treble choir, robotics, Jazz Combo 2, earth club, and DECA. Bella would like to thank Io for taking her in and teaching her spotlight; she would also like to thank her family for encouraging her to partake in the musical.
Brianna Pahumba Lemus (Maria / Ensemble)
Brianna is a freshman at Sparta High School. This is her first musical production with the Sparta Spotlight Players and she was lucky enough to get a speaking role as a freshman! While in middle school, Brianna was in “Matilda Jr.” (Matilda) and “Annie Jr.” (Tessie). Brianna is also involved with both show choir groups: Upstage Adrenaline and Rise of Adrenaline. Brianna is also Miss Sparta’s Teen! Brianna would like to thank her mom and sister for pushing her to be the best version of herself and for being so encouraging to step out of her comfort zone. She would also like to thank her directors for welcoming her with open arms and pushing her to her limits and teaching her to give 100% even if it is just during rehearsals. She is so grateful for her role and is so excited to see what the future holds for her! Lastly she would like to thank all of the upperclassmen for inspiring her to be a part of this amazing music department. “I am very excited to share the production of “9 to 5” with all of you! Xavier Centeno (Bob Enright / Ensemble)
Xavier is now a Senior at Sparta High School, this is his second high school production. He is also in his second year of Upstage Adrenaline Show Choir. He is super excited to get back into it cause he’s missed it a lot. He is also one of the boxers in the varsity show. He is also in Tenor/Bass choir, cross country, hockey, and track. Along with his club's student council, DECA, and FBLA. It may seem like he takes on a lot but he truly loves all of it. Xavier is very appreciative of his mom and dad, along with his family and friends, for supporting him through his wild journey. He hopes everyone really enjoys the show and has many laughs. Peter Mulvaney (Doctor / Ensemble)
Peter is a sophomore at Sparta High School. This is his second musical production. He has grown so much and has learned to love this department so much. He was in the ensemble in Grease and will be playing the doctor in 9 to 5. Other activities he participates in are Sparta's Upstage Adrenaline Show Choir, track, and jazz band. He made his closest friends here and he would also like to thank the cast of Newsies for doing such a stunning performance that it inspired him to be a part of the music department in high school.
Noella La Rock (Candy Striper / Ensemble)
Noella is a junior at Sparta High School this year! This is her 2nd show with Sparta Spotlight Players! She played Rona in Sparta’s 2025 spring musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Noella is a member of both Upstage Adrenaline and Rise Of Adrenaline show choirs. She is also a part of the Chamber Choir. She would like to thank her family, friends, and directors for all of their support and encouragement! She is so excited to be part of the ensemble this time around! Kenley Adams (New Employee / Ensemble)
Kenley is a freshman at Sparta High school. This is going to be her first Musical here, but she was in Sparta Meadowview's musical "Annie Jr" (Annie). Kenley is super excited to be a part of such a talented group of students, and can't wait for her future here! Finally, Kenley would like to shout out the whole cast, directors, and crew for being so supportive and welcoming!
Kaitlyn Austin (Ensemble)
Kaitlyn is a freshman at Sparta High School. This is her second show with Sparta Spotlight Players. Kaitlyn played Young Fiona in Shrek the Musical when she was in fifth grade, and has been waiting to come back since then. She is a part of many other clubs, such as Girl Scout, FFA, Upstage Adrenaline, and more. She would like to thank her sister, Alli, for leading her into this wonderful group of people and supporting her along the way.
Valerie Berry (Ensemble)
Valerie is a sophomore at Sparta High School. This is her second show with Sparta Spotlight Players. Valerie did backstage crew in Grease last year. Valerie is also in both of the Show choir groups! Rise of Adrenaline, and Upstage Adrenaline. She thanks you all for the support and she hopes you love the show as much as she loves being in it!
Gavyn DeClute (Ensemble)
Gavyn is a freshman at Sparta High. This is his second production with the Sparta Spotlight players; he played “Les” in Newsies and now he is in the production of “9 to 5.” He is very excited to share the magic of “9 to 5” with all of you. He strongly believes that this show has a very important message! He is looking forward to working with everyone to put on this amazing production. Gavyn would like to thank his directors for pushing him to give his all during rehearsals. He would also like to thank his mom for supporting him all through his music career. Neveah Greenland (Ensemble)
Neveah is a freshman this year at Sparta High School. She was formally a part of the middle school production of Matilda Jr. as a member of ensemble. She is also a part of Upstage Adrenaline show choir. She is so excited to see the final production of “9 to 5” and what it brings to the table. She’s never been a part of a high school production before so it’s a very new and fun experience. She would like to thank her friends for all the support they give as well as her directors for pushing her to her full capability.
Bella Greydanus (Ensemble)
Bella is a senior this year! This is her 5th production, first production in the ensemble, with Sparta Spotlight Players, Newsies as a backstage crew member or a crewsie as the crew called themselves, Rock of Ages as a backstage crew member as well, and Grease as an assistant stage manager! Outside of musical, Bella is involved in Treble Choir, Chamber Choir, Color guard, Upstage Adrenaline and Rise of Adrenaline show choirs. Bella would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her throughout the past couple productions, as well as her sister Jackie Greydanus for introducing Bella to the music program, her other sister Maya for letting Bella encourage her to come out of her comfort zone and be involved in the things her and Jackie love doing. Finally, Bella would like to thank the directors and our stage manager for supporting her and always encouraging her to always strive to improve whether that would be in musical or show choir. After high school, Bella plans on taking a small gap year before going to Chippewa Valley Technical College to get her associates degree in cosmetology. Enjoy the show!!!!

Lorelai Hemmersbach (Ensemble)
Lorelai is a Sophomore this year at Sparta High School. She has been a part of 2 musicals; Grease with Sparta Spotlight Player Production, and Annie with Sparta Middle School. She is in both Show Choirs, Upstage Adrenaline and Rise of Adrenaline. She appreciates all the support the program is getting. She also loves seeing new people join the program and new peers coming to support the show! She hopes to see you there, and love the show as much as she does!
Savannah Koopman (Ensemble)
Savannah is a Senior at SHS. This will be her 2nd musical, where she is in ensemble, along with “Grease” (ensemble), being her first. Savannah is also involved in our Varsity Show Choir group Upstage Adrenaline as an Alto (3rd year), Chamber Choir as an Alto 2 (3rd year), Vocal Jazz as the Alto 2 (2nd year), and many other commitments outside of music. After high school Savannah plans to take a small break, and then go to a tech college. She wants to go to college for 2 years, and pursue her dream of working with students with special needs. This year she is a teachers assistant with those students at southside and the high school to help prepare for this. Savannah wants to tell all of the newbies never to give up on the things they love, even when it gets hard. She wants to thank her friends for always encouraging her, and being so welcoming; her directors for always pushing her to do her best, and helping her even when time was tough; her little sister for always showing up and being the proudest girl out there; her grandma for never missing a performance, and being so supportive financially and time commitment; and last and certainly not least, her mom for always being there even when others weren’t, never giving up on her, and constantly committing time, rides, and money to her. She hopes you enjoy our show we have worked so hard on!
Ciara Morene (Ensemble)
Ciara is a freshman in high school and this is her first high school production. She was previously in the middle school's musical, Matilda, playing the Escapologist. She's also in Upstage Adrenaline show choir. Ciara was scared to be in musical stuff so she branched to band. Though from the absolute joy she felt watching other productions, she decided to branch out into musical theatre. Now finally into what she yearned to be a part of, she's excited to keep performing and spread the same joy she feels while watching these performances!

Hayden Olsen (Ensemble)
Hayden is a sophomore at Sparta High, this is her third high school production; she was a part of our musical “Grease” and the “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!” and now a part of “9 to 5.” She is also a part of both show choir groups; Rise of Adrenaline and Upstage Adrenaline. She has fallen in love with participating in musicals and show choir, and hopes to continue to participate in these over the next few years. She would like to thank her family, friends, and directors for all of their support and love throughout the musical production process. She hopes you love and enjoy the show as much as she does!!!
Ivy Sharp (Ensemble)
Ivy is a freshman at Sparta High School. This is her first product with the high school but has done others at Meadowview in Matilda Jr (Miss Honey) and Annie Jr (Grace); as well as multiple parts in a few of SATAG’s productions. Ivy is also a part of Upstage Adrenaline. She is so excited to work with all of the other cast and crew. And would love to shout out her talented directors and friends!
Matthew Smith (Ensemble)
Matthew is a junior at Sparta High School and this is his third musical production at Sparta. He was Specs in “Newsies” two years ago and ensemble in “Grease” last fall. Matthew is also in Upstage Adrenaline for the third year, and he is in Chamber Choir and Marching Band. He would like to thank his family and friends for their support.
Emaly Sutherland (Ensemble)
Emaly Sutherland, a junior at Sparta High School, is thrilled to be part of her fifth musical production with the Sparta Spotlight Players. Having previously contributed as crew for 'Newsies' and 'Rock of Ages,' as well as performing in 'Grease’ (ensemble) and ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’ (Marcy Park). She is so excited to be performing in the ensemble of 9 to 5! In addition to her work in theater, Emaly is an active member of the Treble Choir, Chamber Choir, and participates in both Rise of Adrenaline and Upstage Adrenaline show choirs. She would like to thank her friends and family for their support and encouragement.
Dulce Tinoco Vazquez (Ensemble)
Dulce is a senior this year and this is the first musical production she’s a part of! She’s very excited to be able to experience what it takes to perform in front of an audience. Other extracurriculars she’s involved in include: student council, FBLA, key club, NHS, and soccer. She’s involved in both show choir groups Sparta’s Upstage and Rise of Adrenaline. After high school, she plans on attending UW Madison and majoring in biology. She would like to thank the cast of Grease and show choir last year for inspiring her to join the music department.
Allivia Uhls (Ensemble)
Allivia is a freshman this year and this is her first musical she’s in at SHS but 3rd overall. Along with this year's musical, she’s in the school’s show band and FFA. In Allivia’s free time, she likes to read or play video games with her friends.
Tanner Wehmanen (Ensemble)
Tanner is a junior this year. This is the fourth production he's been a part of. He was Snyder in ‘Newsies’, spotlight operator in ‘Rock of Ages’, and ensemble in ‘Grease’. Outside of theater, Tanner is also in Show Choir, Chamber Choir and a captain in Cheerleading. Outside of school, Tanner enjoys relaxing and hanging out with friends and family.
Kallen Willms (Ensemble)
Kallen is a freshman this year. This is his first production in high school. He is part of the ensemble which includes a bunny puppet and a background character.
