Founded in 2022 by a collective of local artists, Source/Filter Music Collective is dedicated to creating innovative musical projects in Los Angeles that showcase the talents of local musicians and performing artists. Since its founding, Source/Filter has produced concerts featuring seldom-performed works by beloved composers such as Shostakovich, alongside entirely new compositions by Los Angeles-based creators.

In 2024, Source/Filter redefined immersive opera with Sancta Susanna, transforming the rarely performed work into a chilling, site-specific horror experience. Building on this momentum, we look forward to pushing boundaries once again with Little Deaths.
