Proof Cast

Mia Pritchard (Catherine)
Experience: Mia Pritchard has worked in several shows at SVCT. In all elements, Sound Design, Scenic Design, Stage Management, and Directing (Avalanche of Murder). Though rare, Mia does enjoy acting. This will be her first lead role ever and third acting production with SVCT. Mia would like to take this opportunity to thank the cast and crew and especially Kirri Miller for her faith in this production. Kirri’s guidance and strength in her vision was an inspiration for Mia to work for a performance that could hopefully match Kirri’s ambition! She would also like to thank her friend Dave Dahl. His presence and support has meant a great deal to her, and he helped her do the impossible: memorizing lines. He also helped “brush for bones” as he would say, in the revealing of Catherine’s character. Mia would also like to say, “hi mommy! Hi Landen! Hi X! Hi Pookie! Hi to the patient patron reading this!” What do you like about math? Math? What type of Proof are you looking for? Great question!
Matthew Perry (Hal)
Experience: Topper in a Christmas Carol What do you like about math? Math is the universal constant, it is ever present in all of our lives, it is what helps build our society and propels us ever onward, “Without math, we are cavemen eating mud.” What type of proof are you looking for? Proof that Hegelian Dialectics is the superior philosophical method to describe how we develop or societal standards and morals.
Summerlyn Bankel (Claire)
Experience: Sumerlyn has it been in many Productions since the age of four, where she first appeared as Tambourine (Dopey) in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with the Missoula Children's Theater. Other notable roles include Roxy in Chicago, Sarah in Hair, Summer in Godspell, Simone and Cotton Patch Gospel, Judy in Night of the Living DEAD, and others. Most recently she was in a production of Steel Magnolias for SVCT as Annelle. She was also in a show with Theater on the Move in Huachuca City. She is very excited, and would like to thank God and her family for all of their love and support! She would like to thank SVCT for allowing her to be a part of this amazing cast! What do you like about math? Hmmm.... I don't know if there is a nice way to say this but..... I DON'T! It is what I avidly avoid. I'm good if all the numbers are there but once you add letters, that's all she wrote. What type of proof are you looking for? Definitely not a math one.
Barry Smith (Robert Understudy)
Experience: I was asked to audition for an operetta in 2016 and I've been hooked on acting ever since! I've done comedies. mysteries, musicals, dinner theater, one-acts, and Shakespear. I even did a bit of back-stage tech work. What do you like about math? I love the mathematical properties that apply to music: harmony is the combination of musical sounds as perceived by the ear and is analyzed in terms of math based concepts such as frequency, pitch, and chord progression. Music + Math = Beauty! What type of proof are you looking for? The proof I seek is of myself to do this drama as perfectly as possible per the director's vision. As an understudy, I may not have the opportunity to be on stage this go-around, but I have loved what I have learned in this dramatic process.
Hal Understudy (Ryan Gann-Martin)
Experience: SVCT: Midsummer Night's Dream 2022, Dark Side of Oz 2022, She Kills Monsters 2023, Evil Dead the Musical 2023, A Christmas Carol 2023, OK Corral actively Do you like math? I used to love algebra in school What type of proof are you looking for? Proof that all numbers, no matter how large, can be reduced to one single number.
Jeremy Heisner (Robert)
Experience: I have been performing for 30 years now and I have to say that this is one of my all time favorite roles. Some of those roles include: Ash from Evil Dead: The Musical; Tom from Glass Menagerie; Prince Dauntless from Once Upon A Mattress; and many others. I was grateful to be given this opportunity while still being able to set design Steel Magnolias, and help out with our Youth Theatre production of Avalanche of Murder. I want to give a very special thank you to Kirri for giving me this amazing opportunity to divulge in a dream of mine in being in a drama, Dave Dahl for the extra time to help me give the best performance I can, the awesome cast, My amazing family, and also Chiricahua Community Health Centers Behavioral Health Psychiatric dept for helping me with my research in this role. What do you like about math? Absolutely nothing. Math and I do NOT get along. What type of proof are you looking for? That it gets better.
Cameron Swan (Catherine Understudy)
Experience In SVCT, I've had the pleasure of Acting in: Acting Can be murder as the role of Alice Oldacre, Tilly Evans in She Kills Monsters, Miss Casewell in Mousetrap, and in the upcoming show Comedy Of Errors, Luce. I've also had experience working backstage as a tech member. The show can't work without them! What do you like about math? The fact that I'm really quick at it. It may not be the right answer, but I'm quick to answer! What type of proof are you looking for? Waffles are just grilled pancakes. Prove me wrong.
Basil Enamorado  (Claire Understudy)
Experience: I've been acting at SVCT since 2021. My favorite roles have been Janet in The Rocky Horror Show, Rose Ritz in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, and Cheryl in Evil Dead the Musical! I've been doing behind-the-scenes work since late last year, as charge artist for A Christmas Carol. Since then, I've also been backstage crew for Steel Magnolias and set designer for An Avalanche of Murder! What do you like about math? I like algebra. There's something cathartic about systematically solving simple little puzzles. Also, I think the Pythagorean theorem is neat! What type of proof are you looking for? I want proof that there isn't a teapot orbiting the sun somewhere between Earth and Mars...
