About Alice in Wonderland

Let your imagination expand with a trip into Wonderland!

Follow the rabbit to a delightful, entertaining world of childhood fantasies. Alice journeys into a world of talking animals, comic royalty, and a game of croquet that ends with a trial! Will they discover who ate the Queen’s tarts and keep their heads? There are also the Mad Hatter’s frantic tea party, the watch-carrying White Rabbit, a sobbing Mock Turtle, and the Tweedle siblings. Along the way Alice must deal with a sneezing duchess, a cook who likes to pepper everything, and a baby that turns into a pig! Through the nonsense, will Alice learn to control her temper and get back to her own world?

Shalom Christian Academy

Shalom Christian Academy is a Pre-K through 12th grade school focused on developing lives of consequence in the world for the kingdom of God. We seek to provide an environment that engages the mind—and the heart—of every student. Our programs are established on the fact that God’s word is the standard of truth—guiding our school’s focus, purpose, and direction. Our Christian culture and education standpoint is simply an extension of what is taught first by parents in the home and through the local church.

SCA's Drama department encourages students to explore their gifts and talents beyond the classroom. Shalom’s proficient and dedicated faculty encourage students to flourish artistically, develop their skills, build relationships, and share their talents with the community. Our teachers care about students as a whole person, providing them with the space to express themselves thoughtfully, work with others, and glorify God with their gifts. The drama program inspires middle and high school students to express themselves and pursue a new persona while collaborating with a team. In drama classes, students learn to convey emotions, share a message with conviction, express empathy, and work together toward a goal. Each class experiences the behind-the-scenes skills needed to create and perform in multiple productions a year. Students learn projection, expression, improvisation, team building, and collaboration—all skills that will benefit them in the future. Past shows have included The Music Man, Adventure of the Speckled Band, The Jungle Book, The Enchantment of Beauty and the Beast, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, to name a few.
