Danielle Bacibianco, also known as “Dr. B.,” is an Adjunct Professor at Kean University. Directing Vita & Virginia has been the greatest Sapphic adventure of her life! Being able to bring Vita and Virginia to the stage has been an act of love – love for language, love for literature, love for history, love for longing, and love is love, because love wins! To my cast: thank you for breathing life into Vita and Virginia with such honesty, nuance, and vulnerability. To my crew: thank you for your tireless work behind the scenes – your dedication and artistry made the intangible tangible. Special thanks to those who supported this production with open minds and open hearts. It is no small thing to hold space for queer history and queer love. Thank you for helping us hold it tenderly. This production has only been possible because of the brave hearts and creative talents of everyone involved. Danielle is also currently part of the 2025 Women’s Playwright Collective (WPC), where she will be showcasing her first original play as part of WPC’s 8th “Not Forgotten” Play Festival. Later this summer, Danielle will be directing Boys in the Band also at Sea View Playwright’s Theatre (SVPT). In the past, at SVPT, Danielle has also directed Bill W. & Dr. Bob (2024), Blackout (2021), and served as a Stage Manager for the 2019 production of RENT. Danielle has also stage managed for Hemlock Theatre Co.’s 2018 production of American Idiot and SIST’s 2019 Summer Repertory of Much Ado/Antigone. Auggie (gay/them) is an actor and comedian based in Staten Island. After Auggie (gay/them) is an actor and comedian based in Staten Island. After graduating from the Terry Knickerbocker Studio in 2024, they’re grateful to have found friends, collaborators, and artists such as this cast and crew to create with. Auggie feels storytelling has helped them find their own power and agency in these times where queer/trans voices are seen as threats. They are comfortable in the discomfort necessary to serve the stories that audiences deserve to see. They will next be playing Teresa in Will Arbery’s Heroes of the Fourth Turning and will be returning to SAPPHEST, NYC’s pioneering sapphic play festival, in the fall. Desiree is so happy to be back to her first theater home. She has performed, assistant directed, and choreographed many productions in the past - the majority of them being at Sea View. She would like to thank Danielle and Auggie for the opportunity to work on this beautiful production. Special shout out to this amazing cast without whom none of this would be possible. She would also like to thank her husband Joe for his constant support and love. And to her daughter Addison, thank you for coming to rehearsals and being the best kid in the land.

Gary returns for his third year as resident sound designer for Seaview. He enjoys the challenge of working on several productions during the year and thanks the directors and Joe Gheraldi for allowing him to be part of each beautifully executed show.

Lauren Keffler is beyond honored to be working on such a beautiful and important piece as her first Sea View production! Recent credits include Fall On Line at The Players Theater, Manic Pixie Dream Girl at the TANK and but not enough to save you at NYCC. Coming up, you can find her in Elements at the Nu Box Theatre and in Jeff the Jester as part of the Rogue Theatre Festival, as well as dramaturging Sea View’s upcoming production of The Boys in the Band.

Joe Gambino is excited and grateful to be working on another Danielle Bacibianco production, especially one that tells such an important story. Joey Senise is thrilled to have been invited to work as Costume Designer for “Vita & Virginia”! Joey holds a Master’s degree in English from CUNY and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Fordham University. She has contributed to several theatrical productions, including Blackout, again with Danielle Bacibianco, and Clue with James Barone. Passionate about creativity and always fashion-forward, Joey brings energy and imagination to every project she takes on. She thanks the cast and crew for their brilliant imaginations and creative passions in order to make this production possible! As writers and educators today, we must always be grateful for Virginia’s *A Room of One’s Own*.

Nora Shvartsberg is a professional model, actor and stylist. She dabbles in many mediums and when she’s not performing, she owns her Brand by Nora.s offering services in styling, wardrobe and modeling coaching. Recent costume design and assistance includes Pinkalicious the musical (Illuminart) suddenly last summer ( Seaview’s playwrights) and assistant costume designer the rise and fall of falstaff (ghostlight players ). She is grateful to be a part of assisting this production and cultivating a fashionable vision come to life!

Jenny Kelly is the Director of Alumni & Development Events at Wagner College, and in her free time, a driving force behind some of Staten Island’s most beloved festivals and galas. A proud native Staten Islander, Jenny is widely recognized for her ability to bring people together through vibrant events that celebrate community. Jenny has contributed to the local arts community as an experienced producer and performer, and is known affectionately to many as “Mrs. Claus” in the Historic St. George Theatre’s Annual Christmas Show. She will be seen next as Fruma Sarah in CSI Summer Theatre’s production of Fiddler on the Roof. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors for Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre Co. Jenny earned her BA with honors from Wagner College in 2013, with a double major in Theatre Performance and Religious Studies, and holds a special certification in Public History from The College of Staten Island.
